In December, President Trump promised to pull troops from Syria, and Afghanistan appears to be next. Almost half a million troops are still stationed in over 150 nations at an enormous cost to America taxpayers. A few of those troops are Marines defending our embassies in very dangerous locations. However, only a few U.S. troops meet the criterion of doing what is best for the U.S. They provide protection and revenue to nations that often resist U.S. efforts in the United Nations. Not too smart, especially if there is no actual benefit to the U.S. by having troops in foreign nations.

We have 300 troops in Norway, 250 in Ukraine, and 3,500 in Poland. A reasonable person asks, “Why are they there?” The Globalists tell us it is because of Russian aggression that everyone recognizes as a continuing and constant threat. But what can a few hundred U. S. soldiers do that Poles and Ukrainians cannot do for themselves? Obviously, their major role is to train, advise, and assist the natives, but how much training is required? Can they not train the locals who can then train others, permitting the Americans to return home?

Critics will scream, “Isolationism” but minding our own business is exactly what our Founding Fathers advised us to do. They wanted us to put America first! We should get involved with other nations only when our best interests demand it.

The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joseph Dunford told Pentagon reporters that the U.S. military has approximately 6,000 troops across 53 out of 54 countries in Africa. Why? How does that benefit us? Why can’t African nations handle their own affairs and if a nation needs help, there are more than 50 other nations on the continent to come to their aid. Who decided that America was the one to call? When was it decided? And upon what basis were we chosen?

About 70,000 U.S. troops are assigned to Pacific Command, with about 42,000 in Central Command, about 35,000 in European Command and about 10,000 assigned to Africa Command. These conventional forces are augmented by about 8,000 Special Operations Command troops stationed in over 80 countries on any given day according to the August 3, 2017 edition of Business Insider. In addition to those troops stationed on permanent bases, there are always thousands of sailors serving on warships deployed worldwide.

Many patriots will disagree with pulling troops out of Syria, mainly because of the possibility of the vacuum being filled by terrorist groups. There is also fear that the Kurds will be slaughtered for their support of U.S. policy and people. Our experiences in the Middle East prove that it is easier to send in troops than to bring them home—think, more than seventeen years in Afghanistan. We are spending 50 billion dollars per year in Afghanistan. That would build a very elaborate Wall along our southern border.

What is often forgotten is that President Assad was elected president of Syria in the nation’s first multi-candidate election in almost 50 years. Sure, he is a butcher but he has been tolerant of Christians and that’s better than lopping off their heads. If he is so undesirable, let the Syrians produce regime change.

A reasonable argument can be made for U.S. troops if a nation requests U.S. support but we have no right to go where we are not wanted. A small, struggling nation has as much sovereignty as the U.S., England, or France. Moreover, the U.S. is not morally or legally obligated to get involved in every beer room brawl, internationally speaking. We should only get involved in other nations if it is in our best interests to do so. Of course, in times of natural disaster, it is only humane to provide temporary support to suffering people. Nation building and regime change should not be options for our politicians. No one has built a legitimate case for the U.S. to be the policeman of the world.

Regime change happens one of three ways. The first way is when a nation simply fails as is happening in Venezuela before the world’s eyes. After years of dictatorship the violence, corruption, hyperinflation, and chronic scarcity of basic goods has driven about 15% of Venezuelans to eat food waste discarded by commercial establishments. Another nation (maybe Cuba) will step in and prop up the government until it is sufficiently able to handle its own affairs.

Another case of change happens following a revolution as in the case of America (1776), Mexico (1910), Russian (1917), Cuba (1960), etc. Or the third kind of change could be a quick, surgical coup d’état that has made African nations infamous.

To our shame, the U.S. has been deeply involved in coups and attempted coups in Cuba when Kennedy tried to kill Castro and in South Vietnam approved the coup of Ngo Dinh Diem. Nixon sicced the CIA on Allende in Chile to topple him. Carter’s CIA engineered a coup in Iran that returned the Shah to power (who soon died of cancer) resulting in bringing to power the Muslim fanatic—the Ayatollah Khomeini. Reagan secretly and illegally supplied funds to anti-communists in Nicaragua and H. W. Bush was involved in removing Noriega from power in Panama. Clinton sent 13 cruise missiles into a Sudan aspirin factory to detract attention from his grand jury testimony (three days earlier) about his “inappropriate relationship” with a White House intern. George W. Bush attacked Iraq and deposed Saddam Hussein, charging him with developing weapons of mass destruction. Obama was involved in the removal of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya.

As is obvious, Democrat and Republican Presidents have exceeded their authority to effect regime change and they got away with it because the desired changes were usually what the Globalists wanted.

However, the U.S. has no business participating in, let alone organizing, financing, and leading such an enterprise. Regime change sounds better than overthrow of a nation, but there is no difference. If a nation wants or needs changing, the local citizens should be the ones who do it. When the U.S. has been involved, our CIA usually does the dirty work. And while all decent people might like the result, the means to achieve a change is often unsavory, unlawful, and untoward. We were thrilled that Saddam Hussein was removed in Iraq but America’s involvement was tawdry. Our efforts at regime change in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan have not been successful and are we obligated to continue in that effort forever?

One does not have to be a political genius to realize that Middle East nations have no record of democracy. They are dictatorships, monarchies, and theocracies—all the opposite of freedom. All Muslim nations must look to the Koran for dealing with nation building. It is a fool’s journey when we expect to force freedom on people who have no concept of what it means as they look to a fanatic preacher down at the mosque for guidance in all things.

Nor has anyone built the case for the U.S. as the lender of first resort in times of national financial crises. The paramount question is what is best for America.

After all, don’t all Americans want to make America great again? Moreover, bringing half a million troops home and staying out of every foreign brawl would pay down much of our massive national debt.

When President Trump announced the withdrawal of U.S. Troops, he crawled out on a limb and handed his enemies a saw. I hope he survives and stands for his convictions because the men who have moved the world have been men that the world could not move.

By bringing our troops home, Trump will make big progress in making America Great Again.

Saudi Arabia Has Never Been Great, is Not Great and Will Never be Great! https://donboys.cstnews.com/saudi-arabia-has-never-been-great-is-not-great-and-will-never-be-great https://donboys.cstnews.com/saudi-arabia-has-never-been-great-is-not-great-and-will-never-be-great#respond Wed, 05 Dec 2018 23:00:22 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2251 Just so no one misunderstands me, I believe Saudi Arabia’s pious proclamations about wanting to bring the desert kingdom into the present century are nothing more than smoldering, steaming, and stinking piles of camel dung.

According to the Guardian on October 24, 2017, Mohammed bin Salman known as MbS has vowed to return the country to “moderate Islam” and has plans to turn the Kingdom into “an open society.” In fact, the Prince sees “a moderate Islam open to the world and all religions.” Well, many miracles happened in the Middle East but it will take a miracle, the Bible variety, to accomplish that with the Wahhabi fanatics in control. They will not convert from bigots, brutes, and bullies to calm, cordial, and cooperative religious leaders and go quietly into the dark night without taking a huge crowd of their opponents with them.

There are simmering, ongoing protests in Saudi Arabia that have not been publicized much in the U.S., but many human rights groups have been making noises for freedom of religion and expression in the desert kingdom. Most of the usually peaceful protesters demand equality for Shiites against the majority Sunnites. Saudi Arabia’s Specialized Criminal Court (SCC) was organized in 2008 to try terrorism cases, but human rights activists have charged that it has been used to prosecute Shia dissidents in the Sunni-dominated nation.

Some charge that the SCC is being used to crush the religious opposition thereby shutting down competitive mosques. Protestors have been charged with “breaking allegiance with the ruler” or “participating in protests,” or “providing moral support to rioters.” Hardly worthy of losing one’s head in Riyadh Plaza, also irreverently known as Chop-Chop Square.

The human rights group, Prisoners of Conscience, is an independent non-governmental group advocating for human rights in Saudi Arabia. They charge that at least 2,613 people, among them prominent lawyers, judges, academicians, and others, are currently languishing in jails and detention centers across the country.

The SCC sentenced prominent Shia cleric Nimr al-Nimr and seven other men to death in 2014 for their role in the 2011 Eastern Province demonstrations and another 14 people in 2016 for participating in the protests. Saudi authorities executed al-Nimr and at least three other Shia men on January 2, 2016 when the nation carried out the largest mass execution since 1980, putting 47 men to death. Most of those executed recanted their confessions in court charging that they were threatened or tortured to force their confessions.

Without infringing on their national sovereignty, Trump and U.S. officials should pressure  Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to get involved and require freedom for Shiites and everyone else in the desert kingdom. Some politicians in Saudi Arabia and America would have us believe that all is as peaceful, prim, and proper as in the Realm of Disney. Of course, that is called Fantasyland. The November 30 issue of the Jerusalem Post reported that bin Salman had “reshuffled military personnel and assets inside the kingdom in response to rumors that some members of the royal family may have been planning a coup against him.” When the 83-year-old Saudi king points his toes skyward, we may see the always-simmering palace intrigue result in a succession of bloody, brutal upheavals so common with the Roman Emperors.

The desert kingdom is the world’s most advanced welfare state but socialism is always a failed system. About 70% of Saudis cannot afford to purchase their own home and 40% live below the poverty level; however, they get free health care and interest-free home loans. College education is free. Their nation is held together by workers from the U.S., Africa, Asia, etc. I have spoken to some of them and have been emailed by one oil worker who is a born-again Christian. He has to leave his Bible at home and any prayer and Bible fellowship he has with other Christian workers must be secret or he will be expelled from the country.

We have no right to interfere with any other nation because each nation is sovereign; however, we do have a right to buy oil wherever we please. And we can sure stop any foreign assistance, especially for their war on Yemen, and cease other incentives. If some U.S. politicians were not so determined to destroy our nation so a new, socialist state could emerge from the ashes, we would be producing all our needed oil from restricted areas in and near the U.S. While the U.S. cannot force any nation to comply with our demands, we can use our money, influence, and threats to pressure the Saudi barbarians to make changes now, not after a lengthy study, but now. No changes, no assistance, or cooperation!

A good start would be for Trump to require the Saudis to permit churches to be built in the major cities. After all, the U.S. has permitted about 3,000 mosques in our nation and about 80% of them are funded and controlled by, you guessed it, the extremist Wahhabi sect in Saudi Arabia! But we are told that we don’t have to fear them having terrorist tendencies. Yeah, a plane ride will make a major change in violent people.

The Saudi royal family lives in the lap of luxury in gilded, gaudy, grandiose palaces; and they speak of freedom but their handling of Fayhan al-Ghamdi, the “celebrated” Muslim television preacher (according to the Daily Mail) who raped, burned, tortured, broke the back, and killed his five-year-old daughter is sterling proof of their hypocrisy. The girl died after ten months in the hospital. The Muslim preacher was ordered to pay $270,000 “blood money” (to his former wife, the child’s mother) for his crimes; though, the fine would have been double if he had killed his son! However, after a world outcry he got 800 lashes and 8 years in jail. I’m not sure whether his television show was canceled. A social worker said the father had doubts as to whether or not his daughter was still a virgin! So, he raped her repeatedly! The social worker also said the child had been raped “everywhere” as reported by Huffington Post.

Maybe there could be something positive about beheadings in Chop-Chop Square.

Saudi law refuses to execute a man for murdering his children or his wife. Saudi laws reflect what the royal family and sharia law demand. Moreover, sharia is interpreted by Muslim scholars from the Wahhabi sect. Saudi fathers are permitted to sell their daughters as child brides without any fear of the law. Wife abusers are required to sign a pledge that they will not repeat the abuse.

Isn’t that revealing? They chop off heads for apostasy and blasphemy and chop off hands for thievery but for raping, torturing, and killing of a daughter you get eight years—if there is an international outcry. And wife beaters are forced to promise not to do any more wife-beating. They are actually forced to promise to be good boys although Muslim clerics on television instruct men how to beat their wives the proper way.

Saudi Arabia does not have specific laws to govern their people. Their only constitution is the Koran, and all judges must interpret it conservatively. Many regulations are not mentioned in the Koran so no one can count on justice. It is illegal to sell or wear anything red on Valentine’s Day; the mixing of sexes at malls and restaurants is forbidden; bacon, booze, and bikinis are banned; various jobs are forbidden to women; girls cannot participate in sports; thieves lose hands and often feet; and death for outed homosexuals. In trials, it takes the testimony of two women to equal that of one man and a non-Muslim’s testimony is worthless.

We will see if U.S. Muslim leaders, also living in the lap of undeserved luxury like their colleagues in Saudi Arabia, will use their influence to see that no other child is raped and killed by a Koran-quoting butcher-torturer-rapist-brute of a father who passes in a barbarian society as an influential and “celebrated” television preacher.

In light of the relevant facts, it is not too much to expect Muslim wannabe U.S. citizens to agree, adhere, and admit to a civilized lifestyle and repudiate the extremists everywhere who defend the right to molest, rape, and kill anyone—even their own children. Any Muslim who clings to his Koran while defending those brutes, like the imam who raped and killed his daughter, should be expelled from our shores. Many U.S. mosque leaders are extremists, beating the drums daily for sharia law which is used to condone such brutality. They cannot plead freedom of religion to justify brutality because Koranic Islam is clearly terror with a religious fringe.
The U.S. should put all Muslims who defend brutality and terrorism on ships and send them to the desert of their choice. They are a threat to our national security and the freedom of our nation.

Saudi Arabia is simmering with dissatisfaction, discrimination, and death. Trump must work with the royal family and Muslim fanatics but must always put America first—that must be done if America is to be great again.

Saudi Arabia has never been, is not now, and never will be great although it is a great place for goats.

Should the U.S. be Friends with Backward, Brutal, and Bloody Saudi Arabia? https://donboys.cstnews.com/should-the-u-s-be-friends-with-backward-brutal-and-bloody-saudi-arabia https://donboys.cstnews.com/should-the-u-s-be-friends-with-backward-brutal-and-bloody-saudi-arabia#respond Sun, 02 Dec 2018 22:21:37 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2249 The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is an absolute monarchy—basically an inherited dictatorship. It is a backward, brutal, and bloody autocratic nation ruled by a royal family and Sunni clerics of the Wahhabi sect, the most extreme Muslims. That sect and the Saudis spawned Osama bin Laden and fifteen of the 9/11 hijackers. While there are many legitimate complaints against the Kingdom, it is a strong U.S. ally—supporter of Israel and enemy of Iran. So, the Kingdom can’t be all bad.

Furthermore, we don’t have to be their friend, only their ally, occasional colleague, and business partner. No one is forced, or even expected to love anyone. Everyone knows the Saudis are a bunch of goat herders who pitched their tents over a massive reservoir of oil. While that discovery in 1938 permitted the nation to no longer depend on religious pilgrims to finance them, they seemed to think that money, education, and the right connections could buy class, character, or courage. But, alas, that won’t work. Look at former (wow, I love to write that) President Obama as a primary example.

Religious zealots have been calling the shots in the Kingdom for decades, so no synagogue or churches of any kind are permitted in the nation. And while the minority Shia Muslims are permitted, they are also persecuted and prosecuted. As with all oppressive governments, it doesn’t like to have its crimes revealed in the media; consequently, almost 3,000 peaceful protesters (mostly Shiites) are in Saudi prisons at this time.

But it got worse this fall.

Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi was a Saudi citizen who lost favor with the ruling family and got a job writing for the Washington Post from which he continued to harangue the desert kingdom. On October 2, 2018, he was brutally murdered and dismembered at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul by agents of the Saudi Government. The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, known as MbS, has been fingered as ordering the killing. The Washington Post concluded that the Prince was the culprit but President Trump opined that the CIA had not verified that accusation.

Even if MbS ordered the murder, it should be remembered that the U.S. deals with many unstable, unsavory, undemocratic politicians and rogue nations such as North Korea, Cuba, Vietnam, China, and take your pick of any Muslim nation. And the worst example in history is when Uncle Sam and Winston Churchill crawled into bed with Joseph Stalin of the Soviet Union to whip Germany, Italy, and Japan.

President Trump has been criticized for his measured response to the killing of Khashoggi but his critics (not the fairest and brightest in the world) forget that Trump must make decisions based on what is best for America. Khashoggi was not an American nor was he killed in America; moreover, while the murder cannot be justified, it must be remembered that the U.S. has killed people all over the world for decades! Of course, American presidents and CIA Directors would say, “We never killed anyone who didn’t need killing.”

Last month a new book revealed that the CIA conspired with the Mafia to have Fidel Castro assassinated during the height of the cold war. It is just standard operating procedure for many nations that the media moguls and Trump-haters seem to forget.

Whatever, Khashoggi is dead. He was an outspoken critic of the Saudi government and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. While that makes him suspect, he did have some worthwhile comments on the Kingdom that others have championed. For sure, he didn’t deserve to be murdered. Moreover, the royal family should be recognized as a national pariah and U.S. officials should hold their noses when they are forced to deal with them. U.S. officials should not sit around a table, smiling and treating them like gracious gentlemen instead of bloody criminals. They should, when necessary, meet, greet, and retreat with no bowing, kissing, or handholding as previous U.S. Presidents and diplomats have done. (Obama bowed to the Saudi leader; George W. Bush held hands with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah during a walk on his Texas ranch and even received a kiss from the Prince.)

The ruling family in Saudi Arabia is the House of Saud consisting of about 10,000 princes (and many thousands of princesses) who are guaranteed prestigious jobs whatever their abilities. They own most of the valuable land and live a royal life of leisure, laziness, license, and luxury, all financed by the purchase of oil. Saudi Arabia produces 25% of the world’s oil and with those funds they sponsor, support, and give succor to the Muslim extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The U.S. has looked the other way while the Saudis have supported the Taliban for decades.

Plus, the Saudis founded, financed, and fashioned 80% of U.S. mosques! They also support the rebels in Syria and have demanded the resignation of Assad, Despot of Damascus. This is an example of hypocrisy since Saudi Arabia restricts all public protests and freedom of speech and religion yet they demand human rights in Syria!

Did I mention that the Saudi royal family consists of sanctimonious hypocrites? It seems to be in their DNA as is goat herding.

For the last three years, Saudi Arabia has led a coalition of nations in a devastating war with Yemen, its southern neighbor and fellow Muslim nation. (More than half the population is Sunni with about 43% Shia. The remainder consists of various religions including a few Jews. The coalition includes the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Morocco, Sudan, Jordan, and Egypt with logistical support from the United Kingdom and the United States. Human rights groups report that millions will starve because of the war and a naval blockade. The United Nations says Yemen is on the “brink of the world’s worst famine in 100 years if the war continues.”

In November, The Hill reported that the U.S. Senate “issued a sharp rebuke Wednesday to President Trump, easily advancing a resolution that would end U.S. military support for the Saudi-led campaign in Yemen’s civil war despite a White House effort to quash the bill.” History (and the media) will reveal how successfully, if at all, the U. S. is able to extricate itself from a war it should never have been involved with—just as the seventeen-year war in Afghanistan.

With thousands of princes standing in line waiting to get the final nod from King Fahd as his successor before his toes point straight up, it seems Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman got the nod; but anything could happen in the coming power struggle for the throne. The media reported on November 30 that a coup is in the making against the Crown Prince. The November 30, 2018 issue of the Jerusalem Post headlined: Saudi Arabia’s Bin Salman Takes Preemptive Action Against Coup Threat.” Saudi Arabia has reportedly “scrambled its military amid warnings of a coup to topple Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman.” One report revealed that a “recent interview with an exiled Saudi Prince claims a royal coup is being prepared.”

None of this is a surprise since the monarchy is notorious for cunning, collusion, corruption, and criminality. U.S. officials have covered their bets by courting the friendship of Prince Bandar, former Ambassador to the U.S. from Saudi Arabia. The Prince has been friendly with Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and very chummy with George W. Bush.

No one can be sure who the next king of Saudi Arabia will be. Moreover, no one can be sure the length of his reign. The kingdom’s own version of the “night of the long knives” could be a reality with numerous possible heirs to the throne being killed or exiled.

The U.S. Government should issue an ultimatum that not one more barrel of oil will be purchased from Saudi Arabia (they are our second largest foreign supplier) until they step out the 7th century into the 21st century. The royal family consists of prissy princes who shop for clothes in London and New York, sip wine and gorge themselves at famous restaurants in Paris, and romp on the beaches of the French and Spanish Rivera while at home they pretend to be sincere Muslims and the Muslim Wahhabi fanatical clerics pretend to believe them to be sincere!

I say, “A pox on both the royal family and the Muslim fanatics,” both of which are responsible for a reprehensible system that permits a barbarian judicial system. No more U.S. oil purchases from them. They can pour their oil over their pancakes and eat it, and while it may not be as tasty as French food, it will be considerably less expensive, and they won’t have to put up with arrogant French waiters.

Rich, rapacious royals walk a tightrope between themselves and fanatic Muslims. The royals have to pretend to go along with the fanatics since those fanatics (bodyguards, cooks, servants, etc.) could take out the royals any day of the week. The House of Saud is so resented and hated by the Saudi people that the hatred has brought some responsiveness between the two main Muslim factions who hate each other: the Shiites, and Sunnites.

Resentment by the hard-working (and many non-working) poor of Saudi Arabia would be normal especially when former King Fahd was spending $5 million a day while he and his entourage played on the Spanish Riviera.

Moreover, Muslim fanatics hate all Muslim political leaders who are hypocrites. Major former leaders of Muslim nations such as Mubarak, Assad, Hussein, Arafat, and Gaddafi were MINOs (Muslim in name only) with an occasional photo-visit to the local mosque. Those leaders always had all the liquor they could swill, all the tobacco they could smoke, and all the prostitutes they could fit into a stretch limousine.

Those Muslim political leaders thought they would be entertained in Paradise after their demise by 72 green-eyed virgins. Don’t think so.

The brutish, brash, boorish, barbarians in Saudi Arabia should get the message that the U.S. will deal with them when forced to do so but they are not our friends and we don’t trust them even when they quote the multiplication table.

It’s Time for the U.S. to Recognize Reality: Jerusalem is Israel’s Capital! https://donboys.cstnews.com/its-time-for-the-u-s-to-recognize-reality-jerusalem-is-israels-capital https://donboys.cstnews.com/its-time-for-the-u-s-to-recognize-reality-jerusalem-is-israels-capital#respond Sun, 03 Dec 2017 22:13:55 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1975 Jerusalem today is a city of 870,000 citizens including 37 percent Muslim Arabs; although not one Jew is permitted in Mecca, Saudi Arabia! In 1995, Congress passed a bill that allowed the U.S. to recognize Jerusalem as the capital and move our embassy from Tel Aviv to the Holy City. However, that has not happened because the law permitted the president to delay the move for national security reasons. Every president since then has been too cowardly to do the right thing. They are fearful of antagonizing radical Muslims.

Since passage of that law, American presidents have “kicked the can down the road,” they also kicked the Jewish nation down the road. But then, the Jew has been the whipping boy of the world for thousands of years.

The whole world knows Jerusalem has been the capital of Israel since King David, who began as a singer/shepherd ending as a soldier/sovereign, captured the city from the Jebusites in 1004, making it his capital. (By the way, where were all the “Palestinians” at that time?)

David, Israel’s greatest king, wrote in Psalm. 122:6 “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.” However, Jerusalem has not known much peace since it has been attacked 52 times, captured and recaptured 44 times, besieged 23 times, and totally destroyed twice–by Nebuchadnezzar in 597 B.C. and by Titus of Rome in A.D. 70. The oldest part of the city was settled about 4000 B.C. according to archaeologists.

When the Jews were in their 70-year Babylonian captivity 500 miles from Jerusalem, their Temple destroyed, their sacrifices ceased, and their priests silent; they sat on the banks of the Euphrates River and wept as they remembered Zion. David quoted those captive Jews saying, “We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof…If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.” They had lost their song but not their salvation. And they remembered Jerusalem.

President Trump should keep his campaign promise and recognize Jerusalem as the undivided and eternal capital of Israel thereby telling the Muslim world they will not drag East Jerusalem into their orbit.

Muslims have tried to use Israel in their struggle for a world caliphate. They have created a spurious history to make a claim to Jerusalem and Israel. However, they have no claim. Mohammed was never in Jerusalem and Jerusalem is not mentioned once in the Koran! Muslims use the claim that Jerusalem is one of their three sacred cities, Mecca, Medina, and Jerusalem to give them bargaining power in the Palestinian problem. The key word is power.

Note their desperate ploy.

The Koran says, “Glory to (Allah) Who did take his servant for a journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest mosque.” (Sura 17:1.) That was Mohammed’s famous “night journey” in A.D. 622 when he entered the “farthest mosque,” prayed and ascended to Heaven. Muslims declare that that sura teaches that Mohammed was taken by his flying steed to Jerusalem–the farthest mosque.

We have a problem. There was no mosque in Jerusalem at that time! It was A.D. 691 when Muslims built the Dome of the Rock over the spot where the Jewish Temple had stood before being destroyed by Titus in A.D. 70! Mohammed was long dead by the time the mosque was built.

Mohammed died ten years following his non-existent journey of 766 miles from Mecca to Jerusalem with a side trip to Heaven where he did not speak with famous Bible persons and did not return to Mecca the next morning. On the spot where the mosque was later built, there was a garbage dump. From a garbage dump to Heaven in a single bound!

Sputtering, stuttering, and stumbling Muslims, knowing the story doesn’t work, suggest that it was a dream; however, their scholars clearly declare that it was not a dream but reality.

This alleged journey to Jerusalem is an attempt to give Mohammed some credibility as a prophet that history does not support. It permits Muslims to say, “Hey, Jerusalem is holy to us as well as to Jews and Christians since Mohammed rode up there one night.” Citizens of Mecca ridiculed Mohammed about his one-day trip to Jerusalem since they knew it took a month to ride there and back.

This is one of the first examples of fake news. It didn’t happen.

It is the epitome of me-too-ism. Muslims hope to lay claim to Jerusalem along with Jews and Christians. Even Aisha, his favorite wife declared that he did not make a literal journey. She should know.

Radical Muslims demand that East Jerusalem be turned over to them as their capital of a Palestinian state that would include Judea and Samaria. However, the Jewish leaders can’t be that stupid. But then, they have agreed to a two-state solution with a “Palestinian” state alongside Israel! Of course, Israel would have to surrender East Jerusalem and all of Judea and Samaria originally conquered by Joshua in 1400 B.C. Why would sane Israelis agree to give up their own homeland for a promise of peace from people who have callously, constantly, and consistently threatened to drive them into the sea?

Furthermore, with the “Palestinians’” history of terror, intrigue, and peace-breaking, why would Jews trade their land (at one place only nine miles wide from the West Bank to the Mediterranean Sea!) for a nebulous peace? Additionally, why is Israel, who won the Six-Day War, negotiating with the enemy? The victor normally dictates the terms. It is also unusual for a victorious nation to give back land taken in a war, especially in a war not of their making!

Furthermore, when Israel (seeking peace) permitted Hamas in 2005 to have Gaza, Muslim terrorists launched thousands of rockets into Israel. That trade of land for peace sure didn’t work then, so why now? One reason may be that Israelis are simply tired of living under the threat of constant attack. Another reason is leftists in the Knesset.

Muslims believe that when Islam conquers a nation, that nation forever must be controlled by Islam; so Muslims think they have a right to return to any land they ever conquered and must re-conquer it. The first hijra conquered Jerusalem in 638 so Islam “owns” Jerusalem and has a right, even an obligation, to retake it.

Ergo, Jerusalem is sacred to Muslims and must never become Israel’s capital.

The prophecy in Zechariah 12:3 is being proved true at this hour as Jerusalem is the major point of contention. “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.”

Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital for about 3,000 years and it is time for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to say “no” to land for peace and to say it from their capital city of Jerusalem with the American Ambassador David M. Friedman standing beside him.

It’s also time for President Trump to stop kicking the can down the road do the right thing: realize that a nation has the right to decide on its own capital. In fact, it is asinine, arrogant, and addlebrained to do otherwise.

Damascus Will be Destroyed but Let Muslims Do It! https://donboys.cstnews.com/damascus-will-be-destroyed-but-let-muslims-do-it https://donboys.cstnews.com/damascus-will-be-destroyed-but-let-muslims-do-it#respond Mon, 10 Apr 2017 01:57:51 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1777 Damascus is the world’s oldest city, more than 6,000 years old, and it will be destroyed to the point of being a “ruinous heap.” Unattended sheep will wander in the streets with no one to shepherd them. Isa. 17:1 declares, “The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” We may have been watching that passage become reality as war has raged in Damascus and other Syrian cities.

Now we see heart-wrenching videos of babies, children, and innocent men and women dead from a chemical attack on the northern city of Khan Sheikhoun that would make a stone cry. It is alleged that Assad, the dastardly, devious dictator of Damascus dropped the deadly gas, but no one has proved that and Syrian officials have vehemently denied responsibility. The Local Coordination Committee, a monitoring group, said the airstrike was carried out by Russia–a supporter of Assad.

Frankly, it doesn’t make any sense for Putin to order such an attack. He has nothing to gain and much to lose by such irresponsible violence. Same with Assad, after all, he seems to be winning in the very vicious civil war. Could the chemical attack be a false flag operation whereby rebel terrorists attacked their own people to place blame upon Assad and/or Russia?

The conflict is not between two groups but involves Assad’s forces fighting a rebel group consisting of hundreds of groups numbering about 100,000 fighters. Then ISIS got involved and it’s now at least a three-way fight. There are no “good guys.” Now, both Assad’s forces and the rebels are fighting a separate battle against ISIS at the same time. It’s a major mess in the Middle East.

President Trump authorized an air strike against the Assad regime Thursday night in retaliation of the chemical attack; however, some Americans think he may have acted without all relevant facts. Trump’s attack upon Syria was a benefit to ISIS terrorists! Something’s wrong here because ISIS is a far greater threat to the U.S. than is Syria.

Trump must remember that his first priority is protecting the U.S.; however, the gas attack, while horrendous, was no threat to Americans. At least his response sent a needed message to the world: the U.S. will respond when U.S. officials deem it essential–but was it essential?

Are only Americans outraged about innocent deaths to the extent of doing something about it? Other national leaders are acting as cheerleaders but not getting “into the game.”

Meanwhile, an assortment of U.S. politicians from across the political spectrum has joined in beating the war drums. But then, older politicians have always managed to find the guts to send younger men to fight their wars.

Are we to do what others are responsible to do? Isn’t the United Nations supposed to keep the peace, protect the innocent, and bring the bad guys to justice? Alternatively, doesn’t the pecking order demand that surrounding Muslim nations bring the dictator to justice? Of course, other Muslim leaders have bloody hands also. Does any sane person believe that Assad will be replaced by a devotee of peace, justice, and freedom after he is greeted by his 72 virgins in Paradise?

Events are taking place that I predict will escalate the war, eliminate the Christians, exclude any voice of reason, and engage Israel in constant confrontations. Assad is not a good guy but he is preferable to the alternative. He is a known entity and he has not been shelling Jews on the Golan Heights. A new Syrian strongman might break the treaty and the shelling of Israel could again become a daily event as in the past.

Will we see Damascus totally destroyed? What a tragedy to see this historical and biblical city in total ruins! Will the UN get involved and escalate the disturbance into a catastrophic event or will they help provide peace, protection, and prosperity? We may soon know the answer.

As ruthless a dictator as his father was, President Bashar al-Assad should be called Bashar the Butcher. While all people of good will want to see him assume room temperature, it is not wise for the U.S. to assume the role of paladin of the world. Those rebels in Syria without a doubt are Muslim extremists. Let them fight their own battles. The choice between the two sides is not a choice between good and evil but between much evil and more evil.

The U.S. does not have a horse in this race, but we do abhor the killing of innocent people. While Assad is a vicious dictator, he has permitted Christians to practice their faith and has kept relative peace until recent years. If Assad goes, the Christians will be totally destroyed in Syria. If he is deposed, Muslim fanatics will fill his chair. Most reasonable people prefer a sensitive, peaceful conservative but in the real world that is not going to happen.

The Syrian opposition is a mixture of fanatics, freedom lovers, and criminal opportunists. Incredibly, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called for supporting them with “humanitarian aid.” We have seen this movie before. Non-thinkers praised the uprisings in Libya, Sudan, Bahrain, etc., and now we realize that we got much more than we wanted. Radical Muslims have been enabled and are now in control. Sharia law will be forced on the people in all Muslim-dominated nations. Turkey is going in that direction as I write.

Russia, China, and Iran are backing Syria’s dictator while Saudi Arabia is opposed to him and supports a new government in Syria, hoping that it will not be as friendly to Iran.

When former Saudi King Abdul-Aziz ibn Saud was on his deathbed, he warned his sons “to keep your eye on Syria” since anything good for Syria is considered bad for Saudi. While both Syria and Saudi Arabia are Muslim, the Saudis are of the Sunni fanatical Wahhabi sect plus their country is the location of Mecca (birthplace of Mohammed) and Medina. There are no churches of any kind in Saudi Arabia and even other Muslim sects such as the Shiites are without mosques in most major areas!

Syria is more secular than Saudi Arabia but Sunni Muslims are the majority religious group in both countries. There are about two million citizens in Damascus and 85% are Sunni Muslims that are served by about 2,000 mosques in the city. The Grand Mosque of Damascus is one of the largest, oldest, and holiest sites for Muslims.

Fanatical, committed Muslims are dangerous, devious, and deceitful people and we are fools to waltz into the crossfire. The free world should permit these countries to work out their own differences, remove their own totalitarian leaders, and worship however they choose. The U.S. can cheer the good guys (better guys) but we don’t have the money, personnel, or authority to get involved.

Damascus will be destroyed and while that will be a major disaster, it is more preferable than Dallas, Denver, or Detroit being destroyed. And don’t be deceived, if those on the streets of Damascus have their way, it will be an American city that will be a “ruinous heap.”

President Trump should stay out of Syria. Let “peaceful” Muslims take care of Assad and hang him after a public trial for using chemical gas. If Damascus is to be destroyed, let Muslims do it!

No one elected America as the world’s moral and humanitarian watchdog.

U.S. Should Stay Out of Syria: Let Muslims Clean Up the Mess! https://donboys.cstnews.com/u-s-should-stay-out-of-syria-let-muslims-clean-up-the-mess https://donboys.cstnews.com/u-s-should-stay-out-of-syria-let-muslims-clean-up-the-mess#respond Fri, 10 Mar 2017 01:56:05 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1748 This week the media reported that U.S. Marines have been deployed on the ground in Syria at Raqqa, the hub of ISIS. That was a mistake in my opinion. President Trump should pull all U.S. troops out of Syria and let Muslims and any European do-gooders do whatever they want. However, he has called for additional troops to be added, “maybe 20,000 to 30,000”! Such a number would be required to defeat ISIS “soundly and quickly.” Hopefully, saner heads will prevail. Syria, while an international tragedy, is not a threat to the U.S. We should permit Turkey, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Russia, etc., to solve the problem. America is not the paladin of peace.

Damascus was first mentioned in Gen. 14 when Abraham pursued Arab kings who had captured his nephew Lot and others. Abraham chased them nearly to Damascus to rescue them. After 1000 B.C., King David took Damascus and subdued Syria, driving out the war chief Rezon keeping a large garrison there; however, after King Solomon ascended the throne and defected from God, Rezon harassed Solomon as long as Solomon ruled. Rezon founded the Kingdom of Damascus.

The Apostle Paul was born in Tarsus, Syria and was saved on the road to Damascus, escaped his enemies by being let down from the wall in a basket, and organized the first Christian church in Antioch.

Damascus is home to the Great Mosque, a massive mosque that boasts of possessing the head of John the Baptist, a shrine I have visited. The city has been dubbed the “pearl of the East” but that was not my experience. My major memory of Damascus is masses of people in packed streets, shoulder to shoulder. In my visits to their mosques and shopping areas the people were cordial; however, they did not learn much from the French (who controlled the area for 25 years ending in 1945) because the food and accommodations in the best hotels were atrocious.

Today, Syria is a mangled mess caused by tyrants, thugs, and terrorists and many Americans think the U.S. has a moral obligation to ride in, bugles blowing, and flags waving to clean up the mess providing a democracy (if not a republic) where freedom is the rule. But who put that heavy obligation on us? Is any other nation so obligated? Are we obligated to guarantee freedom everywhere in the world? Did Americans, who pay the bills, have any input into this moral appointment? If not, why not?

Just because President Woodrow Wilson took us into WW I to “make the world safe for democracy” does not obligate this generation to do the same, and may I remind you that we did not make the world safe for democracy. We only slowed tyranny for a while and the flawed and uneven Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919 was the cause célèbre for WW II that killed 60 million people! Twenty million more died of war-related disease and famine.

The question must be asked, “Should the U.S. spend its blood and money to do the job–even if it has been determined that we can be successful in doing so?” I am not convinced that we have a moral responsibility to distribute “democracies” around the world nor am I convinced that we can do so, especially in Muslim nations. Not only do I think we should not get involved in every national beerhall brawl, I don’t think we can solve the world’s problems militarily, financially, socially, or religiously. No one made us the world’s savior. We are struggling to save ourselves! That is not isolationism but independence.

Is it not reasonable that the nations in the area have the obligation to clean up the mess? After all, they are all Muslims and have the same heritage. While the surrounding Muslim nations want an end to the Syrian carnage, none are demanding the establishment of a democracy, let alone, a republic. The fact is that both are the antithesis to sharia. We are on a fool’s journey.

It is a major tragedy that about 500,000 people have died in Syria and 11,000,000 have been displaced (including internal displacement) causing major problems for European nations as they have been overrun with refugees. A corollary is the influx of terrorists mixed with innocent refugees that are attacking free people in France, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, etc. And yes, in the U.S.

Moreover, the United Nations is supposed to be the peacekeeping entity, not the United States. What has the UN done to ensure peace or at least safety in Syria? I should think UN personnel with character would resign in disgrace and return home on the next plane to their sending nations. They could get a job at customs, the post office, or manning complaint offices and live with dignity–not disappointment and disgrace.

Of course, the UN will not close down voluntarily since the officials have such cushy jobs and are from nations that cannot compare with the “good life” in America. The UN might be more productive if they moved their headquarters to the desert south of Amman or the empty space in the Saudi Arabia desert. Don’t hold your breath.

The 47 Muslim nations of the world could announce to all parties in the Middle East that they have carved out a safe zone in Syria and any incursion by tanks, personnel carriers, or planes will be destroyed. That way Syrians can at least flee to safety in their own nation without risking their lives during a trek to Europe. However, the Muslim leaders don’t have the spine to make the decision. After all, why should they when the U.S. always seems to be eager to ride to the rescue with flags waving and bugles blowing.

Syria is a maniacal, murderous, malodorous mess that should alarm the U.S. but not activate us. It calls for our attention but not our action. Proud, patriotic, even pious people have demanded we jump into that snake pit; however, we must be very wary of sincere patriots who want to kill people only because they feel a perceived or real threat to us or someone else!

Stay out of Syria. Let the Muslims take care of their own problems. After all, they made them.

Stay out of Syria: All Factions are Thugs, Thieves, Tyrants, or Terrorists. https://donboys.cstnews.com/stay-out-of-syria-all-factions-are-thugs-thieves-tyrants-or-terrorists https://donboys.cstnews.com/stay-out-of-syria-all-factions-are-thugs-thieves-tyrants-or-terrorists#respond Fri, 21 Jun 2013 14:12:42 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=523

Syria is a maniacal, murderous, malodorous mess that should alarm the U.S. but not activate us. It calls for our attention but not action. Proud, patriotic, even pious people have demanded we jump into that snake pit; however, we must be very wary of dangerous, sincere patriots who want to kill people because they think they are or may be a threat to us or someone else!

Dictator Bashar Assad is a Muslim hypocrite (supported by Shi’ites) and an efficient killer, especially when cornered, but he has governed the nation and provided stability and protection to Christian churches. Moreover, he is supported by Russia (fighter jets) and Iran and the terrorist group, Hezbollah. His opponents are a ragtag collection of Islamic fanatics including the Jabbat al-Nusra terrorists, who will cut the throats of their co-belligerents as soon as the present regime falls or is pushed over. In recent weeks the Syrian “rebels” killed an entire village of Christians (although the photographic evidence has not been shown on U.S. media)! Muslims have acted that way for more than 1400 years!

Just this week, the media reported that the rebels are now controlled by the most extreme Muslim fanatics. Any support of this “opposition” will fund a worse thug than now occupies the catbird seat in Damascus!

The Syrian opposition is a mixture of Sunni fanatics, thieves, criminal opportunists, and a few freedom lovers. Incredibly, the U.S. is supporting them with “humanitarian aid.” We have seen this movie before, but now we are sending fighter jets at Obama’s insistence! They have flown into Syria in the last week. There are 4,500 U.S. troops, plus 300 Marines, on the Syrian border as I write and a Patriot anti-aircraft missile system has been deployed along the Syrian-Jordan border. We would be wise to heed Winston Churchill who said, “To jaw-jaw is always better than to war-war.” I say, “yes, yes.”

But in spite of all the above, here we go again! John McCain and some GOP (Grand Old Progressives) and most Democrats have been beating the war drums to a deafening pitch. Progressives seem to think America is destined to fight every war in support of the good guys; however, in Syria there are no good guys: it is a monstrous dictator against Muslim fanatics. It is tragic that more than 98,000 lives have been lost but that battle is not our battle. To those who say it is our fight, I ask if we are to get involved in every battle on earth?

The U.S. invaded Iraq because we were convinced that they were involved in the attack on the World Trade Center. A nation must respond when it is attacked. However, Syria has not attacked us and they are not a threat to us. Let the bloody bullies bang their heads together and resolve their own differences. If Israel wants to get involved, that is their business. Let the Middle East nations that are threatened take whatever side they choose. It will not be a principled decision since there is no noble principle involved, only violent religious and political hatred. All factions are thugs, thieves, tyrants, and terrorists.

America has become not only the world’s bank but the world’s policeman that is obligated to clean up the Syrian mess! My opinion: the cost of one American life is too high a price to pay for getting involved and it is not wise for us to pour billions of dollars into that cesspool of a nation while we struggle to pay our national bills. We have seen our young men and women (!) return from Afghanistan missing their limbs and burned beyond recognition. Moms have been killed leaving small children without a mother. (But then, that reflects upon us because any nation that must use women to fight its wars is not worth defending.)

Bush made a super dumb statement when he spoke of taking democracy to nations in the Middle East. They don’t want democracy and even if they did, the burden to take it there is not a U.S. burden. After all, who appointed us the Paladin of Peace? We don’t have the money nor should we sacrifice our youth in a war that cannot be won. Our desire to share the principles of freedom should not entice us into a war that will never be won; however, it is easier to fight for your principles than it is to live according to your principles. Let’s live them and let other people learn them from our example. Furthermore, the winner of the Syrian conflict would not be welcomed at any decent person’s dining table. America should let other nations fight this war then everyone will be losers–except us.

World leaders still haven’t received the message: there is no way to beat Islamists. We can blast a nation into the Stone Age but that won’t win the war. Fact: there will be perpetual conflict as long as there are Koranic Muslims down at the local mosque. We will be at war and living with terror to the end of time! The next war could very well bury Western Civilization forever as well as the barbarians on the Arabian Desert.

Furthermore, there is the issue of national sovereignty. Who gave America (or Russia, China, Israel, etc.) the authority to interfere and invade another nation? Do we believe in national sovereignty or not? Do we believe in sovereignty for us but not for “them”? No one has even tried to justify this.

Of course, another war might take America’s attention off the “scandal of the day,” giving Obama some breathing room. Only a fool will say that we have any chance of establishing even a semblance of freedom in Syria. Freedom doesn’t work in Islamic nations since freedom is the antithesis to sharia and jihad.

Non-thinkers, bubbling over with naiveté, praised the uprisings in Libya, Egypt, etc., and now they realize that we got much more than we wanted. Radical Muslims have been enabled and are now in control with sharia and jihad as the norm. Moreover, our incursions into Iraq and Afghanistan are two more abject failures of a stupid, senseless, strident, and suicidal foreign policy.
Let our politicians use their bloody pulpits and the media to promote freedom everywhere but keep our money, missiles, munitions, and men at home.

Oh, also keep our maidens and moms at home.

Muslim Leaders Admit: Palestinians Don’t Exist! https://donboys.cstnews.com/muslim-leaders-admit-palestinians-dont-exist https://donboys.cstnews.com/muslim-leaders-admit-palestinians-dont-exist#comments Tue, 09 Oct 2012 13:12:45 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=138 The “Palestinian people” don’t exist as an historical group but they do exist as a political ploy used by the PLO and other Muslim extremists for their own selfish purposes. These “Palestinian” people are refugees from the Middle East whom the Muslim nations will not accept as citizens but will use as grunt workers in their fields and orchards.

The refugees are welcome as workers but not as citizens. By leaving the refugee camps, they better themselves as migrate workers but without any hope of citizenship from their “brother” Muslims. However, they have been and are being used as pawns to further the political agenda of their fellow Muslims. The workers are too dumb or fanatical to realize that fact.

Any honest person will recognize that there is no mention of the name “Palestina” in history before the Romans gave that new hated name to the province of Judea. This fact was admitted by Professor Philip Hitti, an Arab historian who declared, “There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not.” This fact is further confirmed by the Saudi Arabia Representative at the United Nations. “It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria.”

Fathi Hammad, minister of the interior and national security for Hamas, a recognized terror group, confirmed that “half of the Palestinians are Egyptians and the other half are Saudis.”

King Hussein of Jordan was the only Arab leader that showed any sympathy toward what is called the Palestinian Arabs. In 1960 he stated: “Since 1948 Arab leaders have approached the Palestine problem in an irresponsible manner….They have used the Palestine people for selfish political purposes. This is ridiculous and, I could say, even criminal.” The King was correct.

I started going to Jordan and the Middle East just after the 1967 Six-Day War (in which Israel sent the nine Muslim nations arrayed against them running for cover) and have been there 14 times. That doesn’t make me a Middle East expert but I became convinced that King Hussein, who died in 1999, was the most reasonable and kind Muslim leader in the Muslim world. He shocked the world when he recognized Israel as a nation in 1994 much to the chagrin of other Muslim leaders.

Unknown to the world, Hussein wanted peace with Israel and secretly negotiated with Israel’s leaders and U.S. officials. The private talks took place in London at the home of Hussein’s Jewish physician. In 1970, Hussein kicked the PLO (Arafat) out of Jordan! It must be remembered that Arafat, while leader of the PLO, was an Egyptian, not a “Palestinian”; but then, no one is a “Palestinian.”

I corresponded with Hussein in the late 70’s while I was a member of the Indiana House of Representatives. I also was a newscaster and commentator at a fledging Indianapolis television station. Since I went to the Middle East about every year I contacted the king about doing a television interview, and much to my surprise, he readily agreed. We set the date to coincide with my itinerary and I prepared for a “scoop.” But alas, it was not to be. I was too busy to see the king! No, my trip was rescheduled because of terrorist activities and the king was out of the country when I finally was there.

Syrian dictator Hafez Assad (father of the present dictator) told PLO leader Yasser Arafat, “You do not represent Palestine as much as we do. Never forget this one point: There is no such thing as a Palestinian people, there is no Palestinian entity, there is only Syria.” Don’t you think the media should finally get the point: Palestinian people do not exist except as a political ploy.

Zuhair Muhsin, military commander of the PLO and member of the PLO Executive Council, clearly said “There are no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. We are all part of one nation. It is only for political reasons that we carefully underline our Palestinian identity… yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity serves only tactical purposes. The founding of a Palestinian state is a new tool in the continuing battle against Israel.” I wonder if the media are listening. Maybe they can’t understand plain English.

Even Chris Matthews of MSNBC can understand that statement from a Muslim terrorist–well, maybe not since Chris’ main activity is in his leg, not his brain.

The Dirty Little Secret: Palestinians Don’t Exist! https://donboys.cstnews.com/the-dirty-little-secret-palestinians-dont-exist https://donboys.cstnews.com/the-dirty-little-secret-palestinians-dont-exist#comments Mon, 08 Oct 2012 01:39:18 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=130 There is no such group as the Palestinian people. They have never existed, do not exist now, and will not exist in the future. They are the only people in all history that came into existence in a single day! This was admitted by Walid Shoebat, a former PLO terrorist: “Why is it that on June 4th 1967 I was a Jordanian and overnight I became a Palestinian?” He added that he did not mind Jordanian rule.
He and his compatriots were Jordanians “until the Jews returned to Jerusalem. Then all of the sudden we were Palestinians.” Shoebat was saying that when the Jews re-took their historic and biblical homeland, the myth of an Arab Palestinian nation was created out of thin air and promoted worldwide. The gullible media, too lazy to do the research, still spouts the PLO line about the “Palestinian people.”

It is political humbug. Those people who are identified as “Palestinians” are simply refugees from Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia. However, there are millions of these people who were born in refugee camps and have been taught they are “Palestinians.” But they are not. In 1948 and the1950s, displaced Arabs lived in abject squalor in refugee camps (supposed to be temporary) under the custodial care of the United Nations. Muslim leaders did not care about them until it became politically expedient to do so. There are no Palestinian people, or history, or culture, or coinage, or language, or uncovered artifacts. Palestinians don’t exist and never have. Muslims and media that promote “Palestinians” are repeating a falsehood and resisting the facts.

It must be emphasized that God loves Arabs as much as He does Jews; however, Jews have a special place in His plan. His plan was to redeem man through the sacrificial death and resurrection of His Son. Those “Palestinian” leaders who spout hatred for every non-Muslim are loved by God even if men have trouble loving them.

Israel was originally called the “land of Canaan” (Gen. 12:5), the “land of Israel” (1 Sam. 13:19), and the “land of Judah” (Isa. 19:17). The first century Jews had a thing about being under the thumb of the Romans (or anyone) so they seethed in constant hatred and rebellion against their oppressors. The Roman Emperor Hadrian was understandably (from his totalitarian view) displeased with the rebellious Jews and wanted to erase the name of Israel and Judah from history and the face of the Earth. He decided to ridicule them by renaming the land of Israel, “Syria Palaestina” identifying them with their hated enemy, the Philistines. Whatever Rome called the land, the Jews were still Jews.

It is from the term “Philistines” that the name “Palestinians” has been taken. Emperor Hadrian knew that Philistines were ancient enemies of the Jews and therefore the emperor showed his hatred and spite by giving Israel a new obnoxious name. Philistines were not Arabs (and were in fact, invaders from Crete) and there is no mention of Palestine until the first century. Palestinians are not mentioned in the Bible or Koran because they did not exist until after 1967.

In 135 Hadrian put down a Jewish rebellion by killing 580,000 Jews, leveled 985 villages and 50 fortified towns. That is why Jewish writers always refer to him by saying, “may his bones be crushed.” Psalm 83:3-4 probably prophesied Hadrian’s oppressive actions: “They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones. They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.”

It didn’t work and never will work. Zachariah 2:8 warns: “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.” Jews, even while in rebellion, are special to God. Jews are forever!

God promised (and warned) in Genesis 12:3: “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee.” Hitler and all Jew-haters discovered that verse to be literally true.” Earlier Americans learned that truth while Muslim nations have not. The results are obvious.

The “Palestinians” are bogus, a political show, and it’s time to pull the curtain on the charade.
