Well, that is not exactly true. I checked the record and was shocked and surprised by the sexual scandals I found since 1900. There have been 67 sexual scandals in the House and Senate, and the White House. It also includes a U.S. Supreme Court Justice–William Douglas (a Democrat) while married to his third wife was known to pursue other women! That was very scandalous in the 1960s. He was also accused of molesting a flight attendant in his judicial chambers. That was a Supreme Court Justice!

Of the 67 sexual scandals, 28 were Democrats and 43 were Republicans! I was shocked. So, the Republicans have made room for sexual predators such as Congressmen Donald Lukens (sex with a16-year-old girl); Robert Bauman (soliciting sex from a teenage male prostitute); Jon Hinson (performing oral sex on a male employee of the Library of Congress); Dan Crane (sex with a teenage girl); Mark Foley (sent sexually explicit emails to teenage male congressional pages); and Denny Hastert (sexually involved with young males while coaching them as a young man).

GOP sexual scandals that did not involve children were also numerous starting with President Warren Harding who had affairs with two women during the 1910s and early 1920s; Congressman Dan Burton (a friend with whom I served in the Indiana House) fathered a child out of wedlock in the 1980s; Congressman John Schmitz, former leader of the John Birch Society who admitted to having a second family whom he refused to support; Senator Robert Packwood resigned after 29 women accused him of sexual abuse; Senator Larry Craig resigned after soliciting male sex in a restroom; Congressman Ken Calvert was involved with a prostitute; Congresswoman Helen Chenoweth-Hage admitted to a six-year affair with a married man; Congressman Bob Barr had an affair while married to his second wife; Congressman Robert Livingston had extramarital affairs; Congressman Henry Hyde admitted an extramarital sexual affair before he was elected to the House; Senator Peter Domenici admitted to fathering a son outside his marriage; Senator Strom Thurmond long before his election fathered a son with a black woman who worked for his family.

Some would insist on adding George H. W. Bush and Donald Trump to the list.

If all the Republicans disassociating themselves from Judge Moore are so principled, how can they live with fellow-members presently in Congress in both parties who live like Ahab and Jezebel? Did the now serving Republicans and Democrats demand the same standard of previous felons such as Bill Clinton? Must I go through the litany of charges again Clinton? His assault of Paula Jones, his rape of Juanita Broaddrick, his abuse of power with Monica Lewinski, and many others. Plus his perjury. How could anyone serve with such a dirt bag who had abused so many women? How could they sit with him, smile, shake his hand, and treat him like a civilized person when he was a barbarian? Principled people don’t do that. They bestow indignation equally upon all offenders.

But it gets worse in that there were perverts in the House such as Barney Frank and Gerry Studds. Frank was the first man to “come out of the closet” as a member of Congress and later married his male lover while still a U.S. Congressman! Frank hired Steve Gobie, a male prostitute who moved in with him working as an aide, housekeeper, and driver–as well as unspecified duties! While living with Frank, Gobie operated a male escort service out of Frank’s apartment! The House Ethics Committee investigated the matter and Frank was reprimanded for fixing 33 of Gobie’s parking tickets. Wow, he was reprimanded!

Despite the scandal, the citizens of Massachusetts sent the pervert back to Congress with 66% of the votes! Frank later “married” Jim Ready. Question: can anyone provide a statement by McConnell or McCain demanding that Frank be removed from Congress? Don’t waste your time looking. Courageous Congressman William E. Dannemeyer of California spoke against keeping Frank in Congress.

Another Massachusetts Congressman Gerry Studds (first elected in 1972) was another homosexual who precipitated another scandal in 1983. Studds was censored for having sexual relations with 17-year-old congressional pages, although he defended his affairs because they were “consensual.” He refused to apologize or resign his seat. Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich called for the expulsion of Studds from the House but played the hypocrite. Newt later resigned from the House after admitting in 1998 to having had an affair with a staffer while he was married to his second wife, and at the same time, he was leading the impeachment of Bill Clinton for perjury regarding an affair with Monica Lewinsky! Crusaders must be clean!

Studds did not resign or apologize and was reelected to the House until his retirement in 1997. What’s wrong with those people in Massachusetts?

At least the Republican felons either resigned or were forced out of office. Not the Democrats.

But the most disgusting example was that of Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts who admitted to numerous and barely concealed extramarital affairs plus notorious public incidents, “including public sex in 1985 and 1987 at La Brasserie restaurant in Washington D.C.”

Kennedy fell the lowest with his drunken party at Chappaquiddick in 1969. Ted took a young woman away from the party and he drove off a bridge while drunk. The young woman drowned. Kennedy refused to report the incident until the next day after her body was recovered. Kennedy pleaded guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident and later received a two-month suspended sentence! The court surely would not want to be guilty of overkill in their sentence for adultery, driving while drunk, leaving the scene of an accident and the death of Mary Jo Kopechne!

The inquest into the death of Mary Jo was done in secret but to his credit the presiding judge declared that some aspects of Kennedy’s story were not true and his negligent driving “appears to have contributed” to her death.

Well, surely the House and Senate and the President demanded he be removed from the Senate. Nope and he was reelected many times after that tragedy. Kennedy was greeted and treated like a gentleman when he was a drunken repeat adulterer responsible for the death of a young woman. Why didn’t the Senate–to a man–demand his expulsion? How could McConnell and McCain serve with him and call him the “gentleman from Massachusetts”?

When McCain, McConnell, and other hypocrites got to Congress, they had no qualms working with and socializing with the likes of Kennedy, Frank, Studds, etc. While McConnell stripped Senator Craig of his committee positions for homosexual solicitation, he did not try to force him to resign the senate. Why not? Where was his righteous indignation at that time?

Judge Roy Moore will be a lot of fun in the Senate as he opposes the establishment. He will be hated by members of both parties and loved by patriots everywhere. For sure, he will cause constant heartburn to the Republican establishment.

I shared the speaking platform with Moore at a national preachers’ conference in Indianapolis a few years ago but we are not personal friends; however, I believe he is telling the truth since he has made so many principled decisions during his life that cost him dearly.

Moreover, I am asking Alabama pastors to actively support him by sending this column to all their members. Each pastor will tell his members that he can’t speak for the church officially about supporting candidates but he can inform them of his choice. The church van could even take people to the polls–as long as they take Democrats and Republicans.

Do it pastors. Help elect a man who will stand for truth and righteousness.

It is evident that our politicians are both the bravest of the brave and the vilest of the vile–and too many pastors preach precepts, purity, and principle yet refuse to take a stand when it really matters. Now is the time to take that stand.

Looney Liberals Loathe Witch Hunts But Make an Exception for Trump! https://donboys.cstnews.com/looney-liberals-loathe-witch-hunts-but-make-an-exception-for-trump https://donboys.cstnews.com/looney-liberals-loathe-witch-hunts-but-make-an-exception-for-trump#respond Sat, 09 Sep 2017 21:42:11 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1901 Unprincipled people have leaned deep into the barrel to pull out the most odious charges to make against fellow politicians. And it didn’t start in the U.S. in our day.

Cicero who died 43 B.C. was advised by his brother Marcus to accuse one of his political opponents as having “disgraced himself by going down to the market and openly buying a girl to keep at home as a sex slave.” Of another, he “was brought up in debauchery with his own sister…and shed his first blood killing Roman citizens and businessmen as a henchman of [the dictator] Sulla…He even murdered his own brother-in-law.” The coup de grâce was, “He was a friend of actors–can you imagine?”

Yes, I can since I know politicians who have been the same at all times in history–deplorable, dishonest, and determined–to stay in office and grabbing even more power.

President Donald Trump is a flawed person–as am I. As is everyone. He was not my first choice but became my choice when I realized that Hillary Clinton in the Oval Office would doom millions of unborn babies to death. It could also kick off a national sex orgy comparable to ancient Rome and earlier pagan societies and the total decimation of our military.

My choice was clear: Donald Trump for President.

Trump won but the leftists made a pact to destroy him. Liberals don’t usually conduct witch hunts, but they have made an exception with Trump. In fact, the hunt started long before he was elected. Before his Inaugural Address, there was talk of impeachment! As of now, over 1.2 million citizens (well, I assume they are citizens) signed a petition to impeach him. Radical leftist politicians, in bed with the media, decided to undo what the American people had done! I always thought that was treason.

Of course, the leftwing media has jumped onboard the Dump Trump Bandwagon.

Some members of Congress have jumped on the band wagon that they hope rolls on to impeachment. They include Reps. Maxine Water, D-Calif., and Al Green, D-Texas. Even a Republican, Rep. Justin Amash claimed there are grounds to impeach President Trump. And Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., invoked “Watergate.” On August 31, a huge “Impeach Trump” billboard was erected within a mile of Trump’s Florida White House stating, “No one is above the law. Not even the president.” I wonder if that includes the Clintons?

Leftist zealots, foaming at the mouth and lips purple from drinking the Kool Aid, plastered fliers around Washington D.C., demanding all White House staffers resign. The posters read: “If you work for this White House you are complicit in hate-mongering, lies, corrupt taking of Americans’ tax money via self-dealing and emoluments, and quite possibly federal crimes and treason. Also, any wars will be on your soul. … Resign now.” That was self-righteous hokum.

However, they have a problem because even constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley, who voted for President Obama, warned impeachment enthusiasts not to get ahead of themselves with President Trump because there is no evidence of a crime!

But that little matter doesn’t bother fanatics. Full speed ahead.

Harvard University released a study revealing the mainstream media’s bias against Trump as revealed in his first 100 days in office as compared with the three previous administrations. They looked at ten major television and print outlets. Unsurprisingly, they discovered that the tone of some of the outlets was negative in as many as 98% of the reports! It was far more hostile than the first 100 days of the three previous administrations. What happened to a fair and balanced media?

Some leftists even called for Trump’s assassination! Kathy Griffin’s infamous beheading stunt of President Trump even shocked some on the left. A Missouri State Senator suggested on Facebook that Trump should be assassinated and even a Republican refused to vote for her expulsion from the Senate! After all, Missouri senators have not been removed after being arrested for DUI or marijuana possession! However, we are talking about an influential official writing, “I hope Trump is assassinated!” To his credit, the chairman of the Missouri Democrat Party has demanded she resign. She refuses.

The Julius Caesar play in New York that depicts the main character, a Donald Trump look-alike, being assassinated was deplorable. The production of “Julius Caesar” at “Shakespeare in the Park” in Central Park is sponsored in part by The New York Times and CNN’s parent company Time Warner and they have refused to cancel their sponsorship!

Where is the nationwide outcry from leftists demanding that Trump-haters and similar jerks be sent back to their earlier job at the car wash?
Well, they are too busy greasing the wheels of the Dump Trump Bandwagon before they ride it to a symposium on “How to have a gentle, genteel, and gracious society free from hate and all conservative Christians.”

Liberals chant, “Let the witch hunt continue!” as powerful, princely, prissy people of the press pursue the persecution and prosecution of the President!

If Trump walked on water across the Potomac River without getting wet, the media headline would not be that Trump is a miracle worker–he walks on water. No, it would be–Trump Can’t Swim!

Jerry Falwell, Jeffress, Robertson: Withdraw Trump Support! https://donboys.cstnews.com/jerry-falwell-jeffress-robertson-withdraw-trump-support https://donboys.cstnews.com/jerry-falwell-jeffress-robertson-withdraw-trump-support#comments Fri, 22 Apr 2016 02:58:53 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1421 Everyone agrees that this is the most unusual election cycle in memory, maybe in history. One of the most surprising, shocking, shameful, and scandalous events was the endorsement of Donald Trump by Evangelical leaders such as Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr., Robert Jeffress Pastor of First Baptist, Dallas, and Pat Robertson of the 700 Club and former presidential candidate.

Joel Osteen Pastor of Lakeview Church in Houston, who arguably has never said a negative word in his life, was reported as endorsing Trump but Smil’n Joel only half-way endorsed him by calling Trump an “incredible communicator.” But there is more to being president than being able to communicate. Hitler was an incredible communicator.

The Trump endorsement is shocking in that each of those religious leaders has been preaching or standing all his life against many of Trump’s positions on gun control, abortion, marriage, etc.

I think it is time for the above men to reconsider their endorsement of Trump and withdraw it. Maybe even apologize for it! Surely they did not know, at the time of their endorsement, of Trump’s major peccadilloes. The latest may be his worst. This week Trump told Matt Lauer of the Today show that people should be permitted to use the restroom of their choice. So, that means if a sexual predator “feels like a woman” then he can use the ladies room!

Trump agreed that if Bruce Jenner (who claims to be a female but still has male genitalia as well as big shoulders, wide hips, and large hands) visited Trump Towers he could use any restroom he wanted. Of course, during the show Bruce was called “Caitlyn” and was a “she” rather than the correct “he.” After all, Bruce was a male in the past, is a male in the present and will always be a male in the future no matter what body parts he has mutilated by incompetent and greedy surgeons.

This position of Trump is not too surprising since he said that Kim Davis, who refused to issue a marriage license to homosexuals, should “follow the law.” He doesn’t seem to understand that making something legal does not make it right and Christians are obligated to always do right even if it means breaking the law and going to jail. Unprincipled people can’t understand that. What Trump knows about Bible principle would fit into the naval of a flea! Almost!

Donald Trump is a strong, impulsive, aggressive man without a moral compass or rudder and is sailing perilously close to deceptive, dangerous, even deadly shoals. He displayed that when his Trump Foundation donated $20,000 to the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) in 2012 and another $10,000 to Gay Men’s Health Crisis. That alone should disqualify him from any Christian leader’s endorsement.

GLSEN promotes “fisting” to middle school students and recommended books that excuses homosexual pedophilia. Their proclaimed mission is “promoting homosexuality” in the public schools to children as early as kindergarten.

Equally damning is his marriage and divorce record. He has had two divorces (both initiated by him) and his philandering, his illegitimate baby, and sexual innuendos don’t seem to bother my evangelical brethren. For sure if Trump were a member of any of their churches he would be publically disciplined and be required to confess his very public sins to the congregation and ask them, as well as God, for forgiveness. If he refused to repent, he would be removed from the church membership and refused a recommendation to any other church.

I have problems with Trump in that he boasted about his sexual exploits even with married women. If a man won’t keep his marriage vows to his wife why should I think he will keep his promises to me made in the heat of a political campaign? He was dumb enough or arrogant enough to boast about his many sexual affairs, multiple marriages, and divorces in his book! His audacity, arrogance, and aggression are shocking.

Conservatives have been consistent in taking umbrage toward erring conservatives because that is simple honesty. We screamed like a stuck pig when John McCain returned home from prison and dumped his overweight wife for a newer model but at least he admitted that it was the worst moral failure of his life. But with Trump, he sees no need for confession and repentance because he did nothing wrong!

When Jerry Falwell endorsed Trump, Falwell declared, Trump is a wonderful Christian brother “who reminds me of my dad.” Well, maybe but only because both were men and public figures but surely that’s all the resemblances. I knew Jerry Falwell from the early 1960s until his death. He was one of the kindest, most gentle, humble, informed, consistent, courageous men I ever met. He would never be mistaken for Donald Trump if one were comparing their character traits. And as for Trump being a “Christian brother,” even his closest associates are aware that he displays no evidence of being a Christian. He may be, but his life doesn’t show it.

I will vote for Trump only if the alternative is Hillary or Sanders. If the Democrats manipulate their convention and nominate a sane Democrat, I will vote for the Democrat–for the first time in my life. That will not happen so I am stuck with Trump unless Cruz pulls it out and Cruz is not a perfect candidate. And I refused to run!

Trump is anathema to the GOP because he cannot be controlled, which is laudable. If the GOP leaders are stupid enough to take away the nomination after he wins it, then Katy bar the door! We will have what Soros and the race baiters have been striving for: riots in the streets. Every group has its fringe people–the crazies and Trump has some for sure.

Furthermore, with chaos in the streets, Obama could very well justify martial law and cancel the general election (for the “good of the people,” of course) permitting his rule to last into the Tribulation Period, if not the Millennium.

I hope and I have prayed that Cruz wins but if not then Trump should be the nominee. Some of my friends and readers are dismayed, displeased, and disagreeable over my reluctance to support Trump. They want to understand my reasoning in supporting Trump only if I must.

Trump has some good attributes. He is independent, not depending on the donors, lobbyists, or the GOP leadership. He is as independent as a hog on ice. He can’t be controlled so he gives party officials perpetual heartburn. That is good. He is not politically correct, which is good, and “says what he’s thinking” which is good and bad. It depends on what he’s thinking. Moreover, I believe he will probably keep his word and will do many of the things he has promised to do. And if he only solves the border problem, takes on the terrorists, and solves the tax and spending problem, then we are winners.

But then Cruz would do all that. So, I have many problems with supporting Trump when Cruz is available.

I have problems with his many hotels, casinos, etc., where liquor is sold and gambling is the purpose for being there. Only God is aware of all the homes he has damaged and the lives he has destroyed.

I have problems with his abortion position where he makes exception for rape, incest, or life of the mother. Those exceptions have been used for decades to kill innocent babies. Many products of rape and incest are very productive citizens. It is always wrong to take the life of an innocent unborn child. After all, if you were the product of rape or incest, you would sure agree with me!

Trump seems to embody the New York City values that Ted Cruz spoke about.

If Trump is elected to the presidency he will know when to wear a white tie and tails and what fork to use to eat garden green beans with shallots and toasted almonds at a formal dinner with a foreign leader, but he probably won’t know the name of the foreign leader or know his capitol city.

Deal Harshly With Brutal Cops! https://donboys.cstnews.com/deal-harshly-with-brutal-cops https://donboys.cstnews.com/deal-harshly-with-brutal-cops#respond Tue, 30 Dec 2014 03:42:22 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=985 I have no problem obeying a police officer whether he is white or black although I will admit that I resent being told what to do by a female officer. I think females should not be in such a dangerous position as police work, military, etc. No doubt that may be a holdover from past generations who thought that a nation or city is not worth defending if the men are so cowardly that women must do the defending. However, when anyone is given authority then everyone should obey that authority with only a few exceptions.

However, my main reason for obedience is my respect for authority–authority that basically comes from God. But no authority except God deserves unqualified obedience.

Many of my critics will consider me a chauvinist because of my position on female officers but they fail to deal with the issue. It’s happened scores of times in public debates, television and radio talk shows, and in the political area: I am accused of being a chauvinist or racist. When that happens, I relax, smile, and know that I am winning the argument. My accusers are usually not too bright but they have learned that it is easier to make accusations than to provide answers.

Since I know myself better than anyone else does, I can declare that I don’t hate anyone, envy anyone, or fear anyone. However, I do have strong opinions about women, Muslims, homosexuals, corrupt politicians (Republican and Democrat), free loaders (Black and White), and cops (good and bad).

Full disclosure: my number one son-in-law is a retired Florida deputy sheriff and his son is now serving with that department. I give the benefit of the doubt to the cops who serve with much courage for little cash. Their lives are at risk every day as they deal with thieves, killers, and maniacs putting the officers in a place where they must make split-second decisions. In those circumstances there should be some patience and understanding even when an officer makes a bad decision; however, he or she must be held accountable.

With that said, I find some police officers to be despicable people! Too many are poorly trained and emotionally unqualified to have a badge and gun. Too many homicidal cops get their jollies when they abuse their authority and terrorize innocent people. They are almost always child and wife abusers. They are in another category from the officer who makes a mistake, even a bad mistake.

I go for decades without losing my temper. In fact, I don’t think my four children ever saw me angry. I almost lost control maybe 20 years ago with a cop in Lake City, Florida. We were there to do a Christian Couples’ Conference at a local Baptist Church and I pulled in front of the post office to permit Ellen to exit and mail a card to a grandchild. There was a “No Parking” sign but I wasn’t parking. I was “standing.” And it would only take a few minutes.

While sitting there with my engine running a burly white police officer told me to move as he pointed to the “No Parking” sign. I kindly replied that I was not parking but standing and it would be safer for me to wait a few minutes than to drive around the parking lot until my wife was finished. Evidently he did not agree with my interpretation of “parking” and “standing” and he lost control as his face flushed red and was contorted. He cursed and menacingly moved toward me as I began to feel anger welling up from the tip of my toes to the top of my head. I jerked my car into gear and pulled away giving him a “not-too-Christian” look.

That officer was not only a jerk but he was a dangerous jerk. Since he was a public servant and there was no emergency, he could have patiently told me that there was no difference in parking and standing and for me to move my car. I assumed he took my slowness to obey as a challenge to his authority. Of course, my unchristian reaction was not his fault but mine.

A few weeks ago a Texas cop stopped a 76-year-old man for not displaying an emission sticker on his vehicle; however, the cop was wrong and obviously did not know that his dealers’ plates were exempt from such stickers. The officer told the man to get out of his car and tasered him twice knocking him to the ground. It was bad until some knowledgeable officers arrived on the scene and regained control. Both men were white.

Such irresponsible, dangerous officers should be fired, not fined or suspended. They do not deserve a second chance; however, the police union is almost as strong as the teachers’ union. It is good to have a group with money and power to defend honest and sincere teachers and law enforcement personnel but when either one proves by their behavior that they are irresponsible, they should be fired. In fact, the union should insist they be fired but that won’t happen until pigs learn to fly.

We must respect those in authority and obey them unless some official orders us to disobey some Bible principle. Obviously, there was no such principle in my experience.

Fire all brutal cops or at least keep them off the streets; but I, for sure, don’t want to live in a city without police protection.

Fire the bad guys and give the good guys a huge raise accompanied with an abundance of admiration, appreciation, and allegiance. I give that to all police officers until their actions prove they deserve disdain, disrespect, and dismissal!

Meanwhile, I haven’t gone back to Lake City since I had my confrontation with a big, bad, bully with a badge–and gun!
