Actually, it’s CONSUMER DEMAND that creates jobs, not the rich. No business owner is gonna hire anyone unless there’s enough demand for their product or service to necessitate adding people to meet that demand.

Christ never forced anyone to do anything. Luke 3 commands us to “be content with your wages.” However, so many Christians are shallow and uninformed socialists, they think they are doing God’s will when they try to use government to carry out the agenda of socialists and communists.

No, I think everyone should be “fair.” But who decides what is fair? When two people make an agreement, they are expected to keep the agreement. In the parable the owner did not treat anyone unfairly. He paid the going wage and kept his word. He was not “unscrupulous” but kept his agreement. It seems former independent, hardworking Americans have become flaming socialists who have made government their god.

Yes, and most Americans are wrong. The parable teaches the right of a businessman to contract with workers and all should keep their agreement but the reason for the parable is to teach that Christ will reward us as He chooses whenever we trust Christ and begin to serve Him.
