I don’t recognize this America where Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and similar seditious rabble attack and hijack whole sections of city streets and buildings. Then they loot and burn them to the ground, injuring and killing innocent people while impotent officials nonchalantly watch.

Such actions are additionally loathsome when the culprits wrap themselves in sanctimonious facades when they are actually spineless, un-American, insurgent scum. This is further exacerbated by officials who permit it to go on and on for weeks or months while defending and excusing the malefactors instead of jailing them.

And isn’t it strange that we have federal troops in Washington, D.C. doing nothing while anarchy rules at the southern border and in the hinterlands?

I don’t recognize this America where Columbia University held seven different graduation ceremonies based on race, sexual orientation, income, etc. This is disruptive, disgusting, and divisive. It does not unify. It is also bad education. It shows that most secular universities are majoring in hypocrisy.

I don’t recognize this America where a New York City Judge removed a six-year-old child from a maskless mother who dropped off her kid at school. Furthermore, when she is permitted short supervised visits with her child in her own home, the mom must wear a mask. That judge should be running the county animal shelter, not making decisions that destroy lives and infringe on personal freedom.

I don’t recognize this America where a college professor was fired for racism after saying her black students were “predominantly at the bottom of her class.” No one asked if the accusation was true, nor if true, why saying it resulted in racism. As a school teacher decades ago in Indianapolis, I discovered that most of my black students did poorly on tests, verbal skills, book reports, etc. A few years later, when I was the administrator of a large Christian school, that was not true. Why is the professor attacked rather than the school system, curriculum, unconcerned parents, or the students themselves?

But it gets more un-American because the male professor she complained to was pressured to resign for not correcting the above complaining teacher! Note that he did not comment or approve her assessment, and he did not “correct” her. He should have forced the school to fire him, then face their abhorrent actions in court. Instead, the university has launched “a full investigation into her ‘abhorrent’ comments.”

However, there is no plan to correct the inferior performance of her students. No one wants to know why various high schools would graduate such students and why a university would enroll them with such academic records or keep them in school.

But it gets worse. A professor at Georgetown University was dissatisfied with Judge Kavanagh’s Senate Hearings and became deranged and unhinged when she wrote of Republican Senators, “All of them deserve miserable deaths while feminists laugh as they take their last gasps. Bonus: we castrate their corpses and feed them to swine? Yes.”

Surely, she is now serving eggs and hash browns at a Waffle House, but no, Georgetown (Catholic) University was not disturbed with her at all. Every Catholic in America should be demanding the administration and the Board of Trustees be fired yesterday. Moreover, I don’t want my tax dollars awarded to such a school, not grants, loans, etc.

I don’t recognize this America where a musician was forced to apologize after the cancel culture mob learned he had read an anti-Antifa book. The mob is so powerful, plentiful, and pushy that they can bully a musician into apologizing for reading a book, any book! I am surprised that any modern musician would read any book. Even surprised they can read! The pathetic musician promised the cancel culture mob that he would take “time away from the band to examine my blind spots.”

That nauseating statement gagged every buzzard west of the Mississippi.

I don’t recognize this America where students at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary will be required to sign a statement of blind allegiance to government mandates before they are accepted into the school! The statement requires students to “affirm together that we will follow and obey all rules, policies, advisories, and practices required by government authorities, mandated by our institutional responsibility and communicated by institutional leadership.” No exceptions.

Note, this is happening in an alleged Bible-teaching seminary—a Baptist seminary. I wonder what they teach about Daniel refusing to obey the King of Babylon, or Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refusing the king’s edict and going into the fiery furnace as evidence of their faith and independence of thought.

Or what they teach about the original Disciples who told authorities in response to orders to stop preaching, they “ought to obey God rather than men.” They not only refused to obey the local police, but they continued preaching by saying, “The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.”

Government officials need to hear that kind of preaching from church leaders, not mealy-mouthed, self-serving platitudes from effeminate hirelings afraid of their own shadow.

Evidently, the Southern Baptists are brainwashing young pastors to be lapdogs for the government, not watchdogs who bark warnings. Isaiah 56:10 refers to watchdogs who refuse to bark: “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark.” Most pastors fear offending anyone by giving warnings, and they consider rebukes as “not Christ-like.” Most preachers are not made of the same stuff as Peter and John but are dumb dogs who refuse to bark. Dumb Dogs—D.D. (That’s one doctorate I don’t want.)

That is not the America where I grew up and not the seminary I would ever recommend.

I don’t recognize this America where the new Equality Act will require churches, schools, hospitals, adoption agencies, etc., to trash their beliefs and accept the government’s mandates about sexual orientation and gender identity. People will be fired for refusing to call a hairy, bearded male pretending to be a female “Miss.” That’s not my America. And I will never do that even if it means prison.

I don’t recognize this America where schools, all schools, will be forced to teach even first-grade students that they can choose their gender. Even parents will be required to accept their children’s gender, even having healthy organs chopped off. Medical personnel will be required to do surgeries on innocent children and prescribe hormone treatment to create the pretended gender.

My sixth-grade-educated father would have said, “This world is crazy as a bedbug.” Dad was a natural philosopher.

I don’t recognize this America where Christian colleges and other religious charities will be forced to hire people who have opposite beliefs and lifestyles abhorrent to the organization’s teachings. I can see a tall, hairy, broad-shouldered man wearing high heels, a dress, and heavy makeup sitting at a secretary’s desk at a Christian university. Not in a school or organization that I run or support.

I don’t recognize this America where a man pretending to be a female in Nevada is now one step closer to being crowned Miss USA. A biological male recently won the Miss Silver State USA pageant—an event considered the biggest preliminary competition for the Miss Nevada USA pageant. Wow, we may see a male win the Miss USA contest.

We now have a man (pretending to be a woman) confirmed by the U.S. Senate to be an Assistant Secretary of Health. He changed his name from Richard to Rachel, but it only made things worse. Richard thought he was a male for forty years; his doctor thought he was a male; his mother thought he was a male, and he looked like a male. His wife and children thought he was a male; his neighbors thought he was a male. Fact is, he looked rather nice as a male, and his/her long hair and lipstick don’t really help him/her at all. Take a look and make up your own mind.

This dude is a psychiatrist! I think he needs to see one or, better yet, spend some time at an old-fashioned altar.

Does that make you proud to be an American and feel secure that he/she is looking after your health?

Those government officials, media moguls, and academics who have destroyed the America where I grew up deserve to be laughed out of every position of power and into the nuthouse where they belong.

No, not my America when truth is sacrificed at the altar of pretended tolerance.

The SBC has an illustrious past with about 48,000 churches, some significant colleges, universities, and seminaries, plus an impressive world mission’s outreach. However, it is fast becoming a haven for mixed-up blacks, mushy fundamentalists, mild evangelicals, and manly women.

And moronic pathetic, political pundits, à la Russell Moore, helping destroy a once viable organization.

The membership of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination plunged to under 15 million for the first time since 1989. Bible-believing churches are leaving to become what every church should be: independent. The pastors are leaving or closing their church checkbooks because of the group’s decades-long leftist drift.

After being encouraged by the conservative takeover in 1979, Bible preaching Baptist pastors are now pressed to explain why the convention is committing corporate suicide. Astute pastors are aware of the SBC’s controversial deadly issues—booze, sexual abuse charges, pro-Muslim advocacy, extreme Calvinism, emphasizing education at the expense of evangelism, social justice activism, women preachers, radical minority leadership, and radical progressivism led by Trump-hater Moore.

The denomination split in the 1860s when they broke away from national Baptists in the north over slavery. They are about to split again over severe issues just as definite, although not as serious as the slavery issue. One big problem is between militant Fundamentalists and mushy Fundamentalists with some very loud and pushy pastors with eyes on leadership positions in the various seminaries, cooperative mission program, etc.

It seems it is in the DNA of the SBC to make moves in the wrong direction. They did it in 1860, and they are doing it again.

While it must be acknowledged that denominations have no scriptural reason to exist, many denominational groups in their original formation and early days did an outstanding job of preaching the truth. Many SBC pastors have strongly asserted that the SBC is not a denomination, only a fellowship of cooperating churches united to be more effective in doing world missions.

Those same preachers also believe Pepsi will sell for a nickel, Bill Clinton has lived a virtuous life, Jeffrey Epstein was a misunderstood choirboy who killed himself, the coronavirus did not originate in China, and Stacey Abrams is the real governor of Georgia.

Every year the SBC grows greyer and grayer and balder and balder as the leadership is hipper and hipper, gushing over anything progressive like a teenager in his first crush.

People are dreaming if they think the old guys will vote for women preachers, reformed theology, and progressive black leadership. I see a major confrontation soon, resulting in another split.

President J. D. Greear promised to lead the convention in a different direction, and that direction was to the left. Greear teaches that Christians and Muslims worship the same God, yet Muslims do not believe in the Trinity, the sacrificial death of Christ, or His physical resurrection. Greear gives the old-timers constant heartburn. He compared homosexuality to “greed” and “boasting,” even stating that those sins are “more egregious in the eyes of God” than homosexuality.

I heard Greear say Christians should “stand up and be among the fiercest advocates for the preservation of the dignity and rights of LGBT people because we recognize that gay and lesbian people are essentially just like us.” Not like me, J.D.

He does not mention that God destroyed cities for their perversion.

Greear should be less concerned about “greed” and “boasting” and more concerned about heresy or even apostasy!

There was talk of adding many females to leadership positions at the Dallas national meeting in 2019 by the ERLC, the SBC’s political arm headed by Moore. Some even whispered of electing a woman as president of the SBC! Of course, diversity was discussed, and a black pastor led the conference, and six out of the 12 preachers were non-white.

I believe a minority CEO will run the SBC within two years, and he (or she) will run it even further to the left.

As more blacks and Hispanics achieve leadership positions, the theological and political directions will change 180 degrees. It will also be more political, rushing to the left, and it will be more charismatic. That will not be your father’s Southern Baptist Convention.

The SBC has played the Black Card for many years and has jumped into the deep end of the progressive pool. Dr. R. Albert Mohler, Jr., President of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, declared, “Black lives do matter. We have to say that even more powerfully than #BlackLivesMatter does.” It is shocking that a highly educated and sophisticated man is so naïve.

Or uninformed.

The SBC president shocked many this summer when he urged church members to declare “black lives matter” and denounced the use of “all lives matter.” It is shocking and somewhat embarrassing that so many Baptist leaders could be so uninformed or so far left to make such a racist statement. That snapping noise you just heard was hundreds of church checkbooks being closed and pastors running from the convention into independence they left many years ago.

The convention apologized in 1995 for its past position on slavery and, in 2016, condemned the Confederate Flag and, in 2017, condemned the “alt-right,” whatever that is. The last two resolutions were the brainchild of Dwight McKissic, a popular black pastor from Texas who recently pulled out of the Southern Baptists of Texas and has threatened to leave the SBC. His church averages 1800 each Sunday, and it has a hefty bank balance, so he has maneuvered his way to be a significant voice in the SBC. He leans obviously to the left, speaks in tongues, and is a strong, even dictatorial leader, as are most black pastors—and many white pastors in independent Baptist groups.

McKissic was horrified that some SBC pastors identified with the alt-right, but he doesn’t seem to be horrified that so many black pastors are in bed with the far left. Oh, my, it is so difficult to be consistent.

McKissic was a supporter of Hillary Clinton in 2016 and said, “I’m thoroughly convinced, the quality of life for all persons will be better under Hillary Clinton than Donald Trump. I’m voting for the highest quality of life for all Americans.” Well, the one and a half million butchered babies each year would not agree with the reverend if they were permitted to live long enough to disagree.

Thabiti Anyabwile, a black Southern Baptist pastor in Washington, DC, tweeted that “any ‘church’ that cannot denounce white supremacy without hesitancy and equivocation is a dead, Jesus denying assembly. No 2 ways about it.” However, the race-baiting Baptist did not add, “Any Baptist pastor who cannot denounce Black Lives Matter movement is a Jesus-denying assembly.” Thabiti is a vicious racist who teaches that all white people are guilty of murdering Martin Luther King, Jr. and has demanded an apology from all Whites for that “murder.”

Could Thabiti be Al Sharpton’s twin brother separated at birth? Whatever, Thabiti doesn’t mispronounce simple two-syllable words, and he wears cheaper suits than Al. But then, Al has a radio show, a television show, and almost unlimited finances from a nonprofit organization. He also has a long history of not paying his taxes. At present, he still owes $700,000 in back taxes.

The SBC declares that since each member church is independent, they can put up with significant differences, even theological deviates. However, they have removed churches in the past. The once-great Highland Park Baptist Church in Chattanooga was removed because it started its own college and had its own mission’s program of Independent Baptist missionaries. A Georgia church was removed from the convention because of racism, but will the black racist churches be removed? Don’t bet the farm on it. You see, Blacks cannot be racists!

More than half of new SBC church plants in the past four years have been predominantly “non-Anglo.” That would be great if each church took a biblical stand.

Even without a formal split, the SBC is no longer dominated by white men with combed-over hair speaking with a distinctive southern drawl, preaching from a well-worn King James Bible.

The fading SBC and most Evangelical churches are dying because they are wallowing in diversity and are choking on heresy.

CT’s history of condescending false intellectualism is pitiful, nauseating, and embarrassing. The magazine has been progressively leaning left since its founding by Billy Graham and some lifetime Fundamentalists. Most of those Baptists and Presbyterians were ashamed of their church heritage and had insatiable desires for acceptance and respectability in the religious world.

CT is known for being spineless and for decades has been known for not having strong opinions about anything—except an undisguised loathing for biblical Christianity, and now Trump. This has been a steady regression since Billy Graham gave the first $10,000 to start the magazine in 1956.

Long ago, Evangelicals at Christianity Today digressed, departed, and deserted biblical Christianity; so their unfair, untrue, and unprovoked attack on President Trump in December of 2019 was not surprising. Some of what they wrote was legitimate; however, they did not make a successful case for his removal. They did not think his defense of unborn babies, a strong judiciary, and a strong economy, tax cuts, protecting religious freedom, and other promises made and kept were impressive enough to vindicate his mistakes.

The writer did not deal with the alternative to Trump being Hillary nor with the fact that the leftist haters have made many undisguised efforts to drive him from office however unfair, unlawful, and untruthful those efforts. Trump is hated for his abortion stand, his strong America- first agenda, and his willingness to reprove, rebuke, and ridicule the false media. Leftists don’t like strength, consistency, and willingness to fight for right.

Evangelicals are wimps, not warriors, and they don’t understand that principled people love truth enough to fight for it. Most Evangelical leaders will not fight unbelief and corruption, but they gladly fight committed Christians over anything—especially their support of Trump! As a Christian virtue, love is greater than faith and hope (1 Corinthians 13:13), but it is not greater than truth! When truth is absent, love, hope, and faith will produce a cult.

Soft Evangelicalism has become as cultish as far right Fundamentalism.
The very loose CT crowd wants to present a soft, sophisticated, and scholarly persona to the world. That’s why compromising Evangelicals broke away from traditional orthodox Christians whom they perceived were not sensitive (enough) to social justice, ecumenism, climate change, etc.

There is concern on the part of Evangelicals that Bible believers are not cognizant, concerned, or committed to social problems; however, astute Christians know that their main message is Christ and His death and resurrection. They remembered the debacle in the 1920s when the social gospel was preached and it destroyed leading denominations; therefore, concerned Christians wanted to steer away from that deadly mistake.

Christianity Today has been pushing full steam ahead toward a political utopia from its inception.

Christianity Today is more dedicated to “love” than truth which is the main reason they don’t have convictions and they can run with the hare and hunt with the hounds. They seek peace and unity at all costs and with that attitude, truth is always the casualty. Consequently, CT devotees are fearful of strong personalities who know what they believe. According to the philosophy of CT, Christians must never be perceived as definitive, strong, determined, confrontational—hence the CT hatred of these qualities also in Trump who is certainly no Fundamentalist.

Evangelicals write about civility and usually practice it with unbelievers and fellow-Evangelicals, but often are most unkind, unfair, and uncivil when dealing with Fundamentalists. After all, tolerance only goes so far!

Weak Evangelicals have proved to be what astute people knew they always were: a hodgepodge of theological lightweights (with a few heavyweights), philosophical cripples, and devotees of political correctness.

This recent article was correct in that Christian leaders were complicit or very silent about slavery. I will further and say that Baptist pastors, a powerful presence at the time, failed in raising a loud voice in protest. But the article did not have balance and it appeared to be written by an uninformed writer or one wishing to present a distorted, disingenuous, even dishonest picture.

The article was a hit piece and could have been written by the most radical Black Lives Matter hustler. The pitch is that all slave owners were brutes and barbarians, and all slaves were mistreated. Of course, slavery is wrong under all conditions; however, a journalist is expected to be honest especially in an alleged Christian magazine.

If a reader didn’t know, he might think it was a guest editorial by Al Sharpton in his weekly bid to inflame the issue, to appeal for support for his racist cause, and to justify the behavior of BLM haters. However, the article was written by CT’s President and CEO Timothy Dalrymple.

In his desire to endear himself to the radical left, Dalrymple placed himself on the side of the race-baiters often known as “civil rights leaders” who are using slavery to demand that all Blacks be awarded massive payments to atone for the slavery of more than 150 years ago! This on-rushing bandwagon (full of explosives), may cause more racial strife than forced busing for school integration! Radical black leaders are demanding that U.S. taxpayers pay the descendants of slaves a suggested $1,000,000 each!

Not if pigs learn to fly. Or even, hippopotami.

Some slave owners saw the wisdom in taking care of their slaves, even encouraging marriage to the extent of giving them a house, a plot of ground, and household goods. A slave with a family, home, garden, and some farm animals would be less inclined to rebellion. Slaves were not worked from daybreak to sundown. The Natural History reported, “Slaves spent their hours away from the field doing household chores, making handicrafts, hunting, and fishing, cultivating their own food, and entertaining themselves with dancing.” Archeological research at slave cabins in Georgia and Florida reveals that some slaves even had firearms!

However, rumors that an NRA sticker was found on a window pane have not been substantiated.

Black leftists would have us believe that all slaves were worked to death and were practically starved to death. However, that only happened when the owner was a sadist or an idiot! Two liberal (very liberal) professors tell us in their book, On The Cross: The Economics Of American Negro Slavery that some planters instituted a profit-sharing for their slaves. They also tell us, “the average pecuniary income actually received by a prime field hand was roughly fifteen percent greater than the income he would have received for his labor as a free agricultural worker.” Wonder why public school books and race-baiters on television never mention that?

On some plantations, the best workers were given tobacco, whiskey, cash, holidays, and trips to town on the weekend. Rather substantial year-end bonuses were sometimes awarded.

However, the CT article indicated the editor was uninformed or purposely sought to mislead its readers. The article also spoke to the issues of black prison incarceration and the wage gap. Dalrymple did not suggest that there are more Blacks in prison because they commit more crimes. But I suppose that is a truth that everyone knows but is supposed to be suppressed. The data shows that 93% of black homicide victims are killed by other Blacks. Blacks, consisting of 13% of the population, commit violent crimes at 7 to 10 times the rate that Whites do. Maybe, just maybe that is the reason more Blacks than Whites are in prison.

Of course, he did not mention the trillions of dollars America has poured into helping Blacks but without impressive or obvious results—or without a degree of appreciation. The gap would soon disappear if the black families were intact, kids stayed in school, Blacks worked at any job responsibility, enrolled in college or trade school, etc.

CT was wrong. Many of the black problems are the fault of black leaders who make a good living riding on the backs of poor Blacks. Also, some white and black politicians have a vested interest in keeping the Blacks down on the plantation. Many Blacks are living today in far worse conditions than did some black slaves on Virginia tobacco farms.

The article declared, “Black lives matter. They matter so much that Jesus sacrificed everything for them. Are we willing to sacrifice as well?” He favorably mentions the exploitive term Black lives matter with no criticism of the concept that black lives are any more important than white, yellow, or polka dot lives. Neither does he suggest that BLM should be repudiated by all decent, thinking, caring persons.

When Christianity Today had a chance to take a principled stand against all evil and for true equality, they caved to political correctness which is personal cowardice.

CT is a very loosey-goosey magazine that wants to present a soft, sophisticated, and scholarly persona to the world. Their attempt to appear brief, bright, and brotherly came across as meek, mild, and motherly.

I wonder if Billy Graham would think his $10,000 founding gift was a worthy investment!

Of course, too many people of all races are killed every day but then too many people have rebelled against the laws that all sane people want enforced. The vast majority of the shootings of Blacks and Whites are justified because of those rebellious people coming in contact with those we pay to enforce our laws.

A New York Times editorial asked, “When will the killing stop?” and the answer is when Black youth start obeying police officers. But then they weren’t taught respect for authority in the home, mainly because of the absence of a male authority figure.

That’s not blaming the victim; it’s recognizing an unpleasant and unassailable truth.

It should be understood that it is not always necessary to shoot a suspect and when other means are available, lethal force should not be used. No doubt, many police departments need to do more training and be aware that they may have rogue cops among them. Also, it is a fact that police officers tend to be in areas known for criminal activity! So, if they are patrolling a black neighborhood because of so many robberies, then the cops will arrest more Blacks and have more potential clashes resulting in a tragic death of the cop or criminal.

Would the race-baiters such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton want the cops not to patrol predominately black parts of town? Decent and concerned Blacks often say, “They are selling drugs on my street corner” or “I can always smell marijuana in my building.” And everyone knows many streets in black and many white neighborhoods are not safe after dark. Now, since cops go where they are needed, is it any surprise that there are more confrontations in those areas?

Michelle Higgins is an Evangelical leader who has joined the race-baiting crowd. She is known as Marxist Michelle, a fanatical follower of and defender of the Black Lives Matter movement. Speaking at an InterVarsity Christian Fellowship sponsored meeting of 16,000 students, Higgins said, “If VonDerrit Myers (a black man shot and killed by a St. Louis police officer in October) was wearing an ankle bracelet at the time that he was killed, then he deserved to die.” She made the statement as if repeating what vicious, unconcerned Whites say about the incident as if that’s all the pertinent facts.

It is a fact that Myers shot first, and the officer at whom he fired returned fire and killed the teen. Lab results found Myers had gun powder deposits on his hand at the time of his death. He was also awaiting trial on earlier gun charges and wearing an ankle bracelet as a condition of his bond in that case.

Continuing her racist diatribe, Higgins said, “The blood of Michael Brown cries out from the ground.” No, there is a cry for honesty, common sense, and courage coming from citizens of all races who want protection from thugs. Also, a plea for parents, especially black parents to teach their sons to respect those people who daily defend their right to live and work. Youth must be taught to obey those in authority whether parents, police, or principal.

She opined that because of her activism, she and her father were once “pursued and targeted for eight months by white supremacists who had been ‘dead set” on killing them. It is interesting that no reporter asked her to elucidate. How were they “pursued” and “targeted”? If they were dead set on killing them, why did they not make any attempts? Yes, it is possible her statement is true, but it smells like a very dead fish.

Higgins charged that white Evangelicals are convinced that “African worship is weird.” Well, it is not only weird but pagan. I wonder if she has been to Africa and seen the paganism, shamanism, devil worship, etc. But I’m not supposed to write that especially since I’m as white as a ping pong ball.

She added, “God wants to relieve you of the burden of being in control.” Well, I didn’t know Evangelical Christians were in control. But if whites are to be relieved of control, who is to take charge? After all, someone has to be in control.

Michelle really showed her true colors when she added, “You need to make reparations for the guilt for the crimes of all white humanity.” Sorry, sweetheart, I have no “guilt for the crimes of white humanity.” None, zero, zilch, not a smidgen of guilt.

She took a swipe at President Trump charging: “If you don’t know your history, you’re going to end up repeating it with a crazy-‘a’ president who don’t know what he doing.” I think a “Christian” spokesperson should have the grace and good sense not to call a national leader “crazy” without substantial medical support for the diagnosis. (Moreover, a college and seminary graduate should know about subject verb agreement.)

She spent much time promoting BLM: “Black lives matter is not a mission of hate.” Well, that’s news to me. Their activities, slogans, signs, and chants indicate otherwise. She asserted that Blacks are “incarcerated and executed because of their skin color.” That is outrageous bilge and it is incredible that at least one informed, courageous student did not oppose her lies. But most students are non-thinking wimps.

Barbara Reynolds is a black author and pastor and former editor and columnist for USA Today. Fact is, Barbara and I wrote for that paper at the same time. I seldom agreed with her but we are on the same page today. Barbara wrote, “But at protests today, it is difficult to distinguish legitimate activists from the mob actors who burn and loot. The demonstrations are peppered with hate speech, profanity, and guys with sagging pants that show their underwear. The movement loses sympathy when it shouts down those who dare to utter ‘all lives matter.’”

Reynolds was right on target and she is to be respected for her candor.

During her speech at the InterVarsity gig, Higgins didn’t say anything about the Gospel but she did speak favorably of Communist Angela Davis! You remember Angie, don’t you? She was a professor who climbed into bed with the radical Black Panthers in the 1960s. She ran for U.S. vice president on the Communist Party ticket more than 30 years ago. And she once said, “The only path of liberation for black people is that which leads toward complete and radical overthrow of the capitalist class.” That sounds like insurrection and if so, it is illegal to advocate the overthrow of our government! She should be in prison but she escaped prison in 1970s when an all-white guilt-ridden (in my opinion) jury left her free to do her work.

The sordid even took place on August 7, 1970, when teenager Jonathan Peter Jackson tried to gain the freedom for his brother George and another prisoner by kidnapping a Superior Court judge from the Civic Center in San Rafael, California. The botched attempt ended with a shootout that left four men dead, including both the younger Jackson and Judge Haley! Two others were wounded. The nation’s attention was captivated for months during the manhunt and trial. Davis had been a professor at UCLA and had been dumped but got involved in this caper with the Jackson brothers and the Black Panthers. Davis was set free even though she owned the weapons used in the incident!

And such a radical Communist was praised by Higgins at a Christian event!

InterVarsity, feeling the heat if not seeing the light, issued a damage control statement saying, “InterVarsity does not endorse everything attributed to #BlackLivesMatter. For instance, we reject any call to attack or dehumanize police. But – using the language of Francis Schaeffer and Chuck Colson – we are co-belligerents with a movement with which we sometimes disagree because we believe it is important to affirm that God created our Black brothers and sisters.”

What a copout! No one questions that God created Blacks. God is not responsible for the disruption of black families, numerous bastard children, and lack of respect for authority especially by young, black males. Inter-Varsity has gone the way of hundreds of other parachurch groups—compromise, collusion, and corruption.

InterVarsity desperately tried to wrap themselves in the mantles of two popular Evangelical leaders, Francis Schaefer and Charles Colson. The religious group then reiterated their support for Black Lives Matter by calling them co-belligerents in the battle for doing God’s work. Can anyone imagine the Apostle Paul seeking to identify with the Gnostics in order to carry out God’s work on earth! After all, he could find something with which he agreed, if he looked long enough. We are not to give any support to unbiblical, unpatriotic, or unlawful groups. BLM qualifies on all three counts.

Leftist religious groups and individuals, consisting of the usual suspects, were surprised and delighted that InterVarsity had invited Higgins to speak. Biblically oriented people are horrified and many have struck InterVarsity from their list of those they financial support.

For sure, Jesus Christ was not preached, promoted, or presented and some people still wonder why thinking Conservatives don’t support Black Lives Matter!

Higgins and other spewers of hate and misinformation need to understand that there is no government agency more dedicated to the proposition that black lives matter than the police!

Anarchy in the country is obvious when any newspaper is read or any television news is watched. Anarchy is a word that comes from the Greek, and signifies, strictly speaking, without government: the state of a people without any constituted authority. That seems to be our destination.

Anarchy is obvious in our community, our cottages, our churches, our colleges, and our culture.

In our towns and cities, anarchy is obvious. When a minority group is offended, they go to the streets, protest, march, throw rocks, turn over cars, burn cars and buildings and sometimes kill others. Some racists insist that “Black Lives Matter” but all lives don’t matter and they try to justify such irrational thinking because of slavery in the 19th century! Racists come in all colors.

I’m not sure what is more irrational, irritating, and insane: the fact of the illegal protests or the shallow, vocal defense by minority spokesmen and whores in the media.

When a black teenage thug refuses to obey police, resists, and indicates he is reaching for a weapon, the officer does the thing he is trained to do: he shoots the idiot. Then the dead idiot’s friends and family try to transform him into a “gentle giant” or a “good boy” and he’s often touted to be a composite of Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Oprah Winfrey. No one suggests that if the parents had properly trained him, he would still be alive. Of course, someone is sued and the parents (almost always divorced) reap a few million dollars to compensate for their loss of a brain surgeon, actor, author, community organizer, and Nobel Prize winner.

Delusion, deception, and dishonesty reign!

When the “victim” is black and the officer is white, the stage is set for a major riot with help from Rent-a-Thug, Inc. Of course, honest people know 93% of Blacks killed in the U.S. are killed by Blacks. Race should be totally irrelevant. If the teen (black or white) was a thug resisting arrest then the officer (black or white) should be praised not punished. If the shooting was not justified as determined by the evidence then the officer (black or white) should be punished as any other offender.

Weak-minded and bigoted people are encouraged in their anarchy by mayors and other officials who repeat their stupid and racist slogans! Moreover, some officials proclaim that they will not enforce the laws that they think are unfair! A few years ago, the sheriff in Chicago announced he would not foreclose on houses on which payments had not been made! Other officials refused to hand over illegal aliens to federal authorities! When elected leaders are anarchists you can be sure there will be youth with big mouths and little brains who will follow their leaders into anarchy.

Anarchy in the cottages is obvious as many fathers are missing and moms have given up trying to maintain some order out of chaos. Kids are permitted to sass parents, eat what they choose, go to school when they want, go to bed when they feel like it, watch any television shows they want and basically tell the parent where to go.

Anarchy in the churches can be observed almost any Sunday in any mainline church. Most pastors no longer preach, “thus saith the Lord” and never challenge, contradict, or confront sinning members. Moreover, pastors never want to offend anyone so abortion, perversion, same sex “marriage,” adultery, and fornication can be (if not justified) at least ignored. Such cowardly pastors are hirelings, not faithful shepherds. Those quisling church leaders give cover, not for a flock of sheep, but a pack of wolves (in sheep’s clothing) and both shepherd and flock are contributing to America’s demise.

Religious leaders are supposed to be manning the “lighthouse” for the salvation of the helpless and lost, but they have permitted the light to be extinguished. Often the light of the Gospel has become political and is only flickering. These denominational churches are almost empty (as are the offering plates): the ship is listing starboard; the sails are ripped; the mast is broken; and the captain wonders why the ship is going down! Even when the “lighthouse” is crowded, the light is very dim or already dark. Might as well tear the old lighthouse down!

The colleges where study, scholarship, and stability are supposed to reign have experienced a coup d’état by leftist professors and students. The lack of scholarship among professors is shocking and is only paralleled by the priests of the early middle ages who often could not write their own names! Not only are the professors so stupid, they are without character, civility, or comprehension. They have no knowledge that they have no knowledge! Jerks with PhDs. Sad.

What is even more shocking is that they are usually defended by school administrators and trustees.

Moreover, the students are snowflakes who demand safe places where they will not be offended by a challenge from someone who disagrees with them! It would be helpful to America if about half of the students would drop out of school and pursue the work of a carpenter, plumber, roofer, etc. That way, many of the leftist professors could be fired and they too could seek a useful trade where they make a positive contribution to our nation. Maybe then, college and university status would rise to the level of the Jerry Springer Show.

The anarchy in our culture can be seen and heard any hour of the day by turning on the television. Watch the sitcoms where immorality is accepted as normal, decency is sneered at, fathers are idiots, and moms are the heroines. Listen to the wild music that glorifies sex, drugs, violence, theft, and rebellion. Of course, anarchy in our culture is a given when the community, the cottages, the churches, and the colleges are controlled by mob mentality.

Anarchy in our country is a clear indication of the last days. Outside our walls are hordes of enemy that have vowed to take our country down. They are colluding and planning our destruction as you read these words.

Apostasy of the churches, another sign of the last days, has been obvious for two generations. Apostasy is a departure from clearly defined biblical truth. Dr. Charles Woodbridge spoke about the four M’s: mood, methods, message, and morals. A new generation wants to put its stamp on the day using the four M’s as a vehicle of deliverance.

Their mood for change is an attitude of wanting something new because it is not old; however, something should not be discarded because it is old nor should it be accepted because it is new.

Next change is a change in methods. We are told if we want to win the world, reach the youth, impact society, engage the culture, etc., we must meet people where they are, and realizing the old ways are obsolete, we must seek new approaches. After all, methods are not sacrosanct, are they? The end justifies the means, doesn’t it? God is only interested in the end results, isn’t He? Consequently, church leaders have dispensed with door-to-door visitation, revival meetings, church discipline, and verse-by-verse preaching/teaching. However, those methods are not working today only because they are not being worked.

Then comes the change in message. After all, we must rid ourselves of the nonessentials–those things that date us and hold us back. We must not offend people with a hard sell of the Gospel. Slip it in. Preaching about sin is offensive so we must get up to date and never confront people with personal sin. The modern approach is conversation and compromise, not confrontation.

The next change is in morals. Since we are only interested in the end result, we must make our message and morals comport. Abortion, while not desirable, is now acceptable. And for sure, homosexuality is accepted because we know so many “nice” people who are perverts. We are told that we can’t expect people of our day to live according to a book written thousands of years ago. However, the Author of that Book demands just that.

Therefore, church leaders have adjusted their mood, methods, message, and morals and the churches are more like social clubs rather than lighthouses.

It is not melodramatic to say that American streets will become dark, deserted, and dangerous places as anarchy reigns.

Apathy of Christians is the final indication of the last days. Ask the average church member what his responsibilities are about living godly and reaching a world for Christ and he replies, “I don’t know and I don’t care.” I just discovered there is a song with that title and while it does not achieve the level of mediocrity, it does highlight the attitude of millions of Americans.

Most Christians are concerned with non-essentials such as appearance, achievement, approval, and affluence!

They care about their appearance, yet often look like hobos, asking, “How do I look?” But how can one be more self-centered than that? Of course, after the basics are taken care of such as bathing, shaving, and reasonable dress, surely there are far more things more important than how one looks.

The second concern is achievement or what I have done. While that is more important than appearance, it is still about self.

The next concern is with approval or how people like me. This is probably one of the most time-wasting, nonsensical thoughts in the human brain. For generations this has been a major drive in the lives of people, especially young people. This is the reason teens pierce their bodies with silver, have silly tattoos, wear outrageous hair, wear skimpy clothes, talk nonsense, and frequent “the” places to be seen. It screams “insecurity” because they want approval.

The fourth concern of modern church-going Americans is affluence or what I own. But then, most Americans are so far in debt and spending more than they earn, they don’t really own much. The average family would be in disaster if they had to have a thousand dollars this week. They “owe their souls to the company store.”

If younger people have the latest gadget or phone or computer or a “cool” pair of shoes then they think they are affluent. And it helps to have mom and dad’s credit card. Mom and dad are fools and are destroying their children whom they profess to love.

Final days are approaching like an out-of-control juggernaut in a crowded street in Calcutta. Someone will get hurt. Get ready.

Street thugs used their free speech right to close down the free speech of Donald Trump in Chicago where 25,000 people had gathered to hear his political pitch! As I watched the video I was ashamed of those Americans. Why can’t sane people discuss, debate, disagree, and even demonstrate without losing control and smashing the rights of others. Trump decided to cancel the rally which I think was a mistake. If you are intimidated by bullies and thugs, that emboldens them even more.

Had the protestors held up signs in silence they would have been very correct in their actions; however, they proved to be thugs. Every student who tried to disrupt the rally should at least be expelled from the university and those who were violent should go jail. However, that almost never happens and such events will continue to happen.

Some people accused Sanders of sending the thugs but I don’t believe that for a minute. Bernie may be a socialist but he is not a thug. In fact, he may be one of the more principled candidates in the race. His principles are all skewed and I would probably disagree with him if he said it was daylight but he is true to what he thinks is truth. Of course, he should have vociferously disavowed, disagreed with, and distanced himself from the thugs.

MoveOn.org took credit for the Chicago thuggery and George Soros, a thug for sure, wrote the check. Rich but still a thug. According to Conservative Truth, reporters revealed that the protestors didn’t have any idea whom they supported for president and they carried professionally produced signs proving it was all planned in advance.

Many protestors carried signs or wore T-Shirts “Muslims against Trump,” “Black Lives Matter,” and others. One doesn’t have to be too bright to know that it was not a spontaneous demonstration but well-planned and well-funded. Moreover, I heard a protester admit that they had planned the protest for more than a week. You will discover that the protestors were mercenaries in the service of Soros. When Trump choked (!), capitulated and cancelled the rally, the Sanders supporters yelled, “Bernie, Bernie, Bernie” and “We stopped Trump, we stopped Trump.” Trump supporters chanted, “We want Trump, we want Trump.”

Chicago community activist Quo Vadis confessed that hundreds of protesters had stationed themselves around the arena, and that they intended to demonstrate right after Trump took the stage. Their goal, he admitted, was “for Donald to take the stage and to completely interrupt him. The plan is to shut Donald Trump all the way down.” Ah, yes real Americanism there but what can you expect when far left university professors cram such repressive pabulum into their empty heads?

One organizer, Nathaniel Lewis, a 25-year-old graduate student, said the cancellation shows the “power of unity.” No, it shows the power of thuggery and a herd mentality.

Amalia Pallares is a professor of political science and Latin American and Latino studies, and director of the Latin American and Latino Studies Program at University of Illinois at Chicago. She’s an adviser to the Fearless Undocumented Alliance, a student organization at UIC that helped organize and participate in Trump protests on Friday. She admitted that groups planned for at least a week to close down the rally. I wonder if she even thought about how that was inconsiderate, immoral, and illegal.

At the Boca Raton rally, protestors chanted vulgar statements about Trump that I won’t even try to disguise. I would like to see a Ph.D. candidate write a dissertation on the tendency of leftists– more so than conservatives– to be vile, violent, and vulgar–especially vulgar. He or she will discover that their mommas never washed out their mouths with a bar of soap.

A Kansas City protestor admitted that the protesters had two goals – to disrupt proceedings as much as possible and signal their outrage over Trump’s divisive rhetoric. Is he so stupid to think that they have a legal right to disrupt a public rally? Who told him they have a right to silence “divisive rhetoric”? The answer to Trump’s “divisive rhetoric” is convincing rhetoric to prove its falsity, failure, or fakery. While Trump is sometimes divisive, no honest person can blame him for the violence.

John McGraw, a 78-year-old Trump supporter who slugged a black protestor at a North Carolina rally, should be arrested and tried for assault and Trump should insist on it. He should be in jail today. McGraw justified his thuggery by saying, “He deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization.” Yes, or he might be a liberal Methodist preacher. John is a jerk.

At Trump’s Dayton rally a protester charged the platform where Trump was speaking and was stopped by authorities. Thomas DiMassimo, 22, of Fairborn, Ohio was charged with disorderly conduct and inducing panic and appeared in court on Monday. Thomas is not only a thug but he also is not a cogent thinker since following his arrest, he called for peaceful protests! Let me get this straight: he was arrested for violently breaking through security and charging a platform to silence a public speaker who had paid for the building, security, sound system, etc.! He said, “We must nonviolently shut down every Trump rally.” He said. “We must stop this violent, foolish man from taking this country and destroying it.” I would be so embarrassed if that were my son or grandson!

One lawyer said that the protesters had a right to shout down Trump! Evidently not a Constitutional lawyer! Thousands of people drove many miles, stood in line for hours wanting to hear a man tell them why he should be the next president; and the protestors declared that they have the right to shout him down and prohibit many others from hearing him! That is America?

All the candidates came up short in their response to the protestors. Sanders, Clinton, Kasich, Rubio, and Cruz all spoke of Trump’s rhetoric as being the cause of the violence. They are wrong. They should have blamed the protestors who were determined to break up the rally, rip the constitution, and embarrass their families and universities–not blame Trump who has a right to say stupid stuff. Americans still have the right to be stupid and the protesters should be thrilled that is true since stupidity seems to be in their genes.

This was no one’s finest hour.
