Furthermore, Europe has been pursuing the persecution of thought crimes for many years.

Recently, a man in England was sentenced to prison for 20 months for “publishing threatening written material…against Muslims.” Furthermore, any German who incites “racial hatred” even if there is no violence, can go to jail for five years! Has WW II been nullified? German jackboots are fashionable again and are stamping hard on the neck of free speechers.

All sensible, sane, and scared people are shocked about crime and want it punished and if possible, see the perpetrator redeemed, rehabilitated, and returned to society. But we are witnessing something I never expected to see: punishment for displeasing, dissenting, even disgusting speech! I thought Liberals believed in freedom–even freedom to be disgustingly abhorrent.

Hatred of persons is always a sin, and no Christian should be guilty of such a sin; however, we must never permit the government, courts, media, etc., to define “hate” or to criminalize it. I have been called a hater many times by homosexuals (because I teach that their lifestyle is a deadly sin) and by anti-death penalty people (who think it is all right to butcher babies in the womb but not execute killers) and by reverse discriminators who think minorities deserve special treatment (while I believe all people should be treated like people–made in the image of God). I’ve lost track of the Muslims who want to take me out.

Question for the haters on the left: is it possible to be critical of abortion, homosexuality, reverse discrimination, etc. without being a hater or bigot? I have often asked that question but never received an answer.

We are seeing crimes punished more severely if they are determined to be “hate” crimes; however, aren’t all crimes hate crimes? If they are not, what are they? Surely not “love” crimes. So people are being punished more severely because of what they thought and said! Speaking of the slippery slope!

Most common people want crime to be punished to the extent of the law taking into account any extenuating circumstances. For instance, a molester should go to jail if he fondles a woman in an elevator. If he is beaten by her husband, the husband should be fined or get probation, but not jail. Maybe a $10 fine or 45 minutes of community service.

A granddad that beats a pervert for trying to seduce his grandson in a restroom should be reminded that the law should take care of the offending pervert, but granddad should not go to jail. There are circumstances that require leniency. I wouldn’t have a parade for grandpa but maybe an honorable mention at the next city council meeting and make him “Granddad of the Year” but no punishment.

Yes, punish the criminal but don’t try to punish his thoughts; after all, who can really know what is in a person’s mind? Sure, if a villain yells epithets at his victim he reveals something of his mind, but what of those who have hatred in their hearts but never reveal it? No, let’s punish the person for his or her crime, not thoughts, speeches, and motives.

While I’m here, I must point out that the jerks in the media and government often refuse to call it a hate crime when a Muslim kills a few people shouting praises to Allah as he departs this life for parts unknown. Well, I know where he’s going and it ain’t Paradise and he won’t be spending any time with virgins on soft, green cushions.

Canada is a nation that has traveled this road where it is illegal to criticize homosexuals, transgenders, Muslims, and others in public. When I cross the border, I could be arrested or at least refused entrance because of some of my books dealing with homosexuality, Islam, etc.

Moreover, a comedian in Canada was fined $42,000 for telling a joke about a disabled child! All right, it was crass and cruel, but not criminal.

Recently Canada even passed a law making it a crime to use the wrong pronouns when speaking of people! You could be fined, jailed, and forced to endure an anti-bias training if you refuse to swallow the progressive gender nonsense.

Last week a Canadian landlord was fined $12,000 for not removing his shoes when he entered his rental apartment of a Muslim couple who owed him rent! He showed hate and was offensive by not removing his shoes!

Our friends to the North are making fools of themselves and European politicians stumble all over each other to see who can be more “progressive.”

Boris Le Lay is a French dissident and blogger who has been sentenced to two years in prison for being critical of Third World immigration into France! He also bad-mouthed his Black Muslim judge! Evidently, Le Lay may be the boldest, bravest blogger in the blogosphere but not the brainiest.

France’s Prime Minister Manuel Vals listed four limits to free speech. “There is a fundamental difference between the freedom to be impertinent and anti-Semitism, racism, glorification of terrorist acts, and Holocaust denial, all of which are crimes that justice should punish with the most severity.” Really, the death penalty? Moreover, who decides what qualifies for any punishment? After all, heroes on the left like Mandela and Arafat criticized Whites and Jews and did terrorist acts, yet they each received the Nobel Prize! Don’t the same rules apply to leftists, socialists, and Communists that apply to normal people?

Did you know that it is illegal in Germany to deny the holocaust? If you don’t believe what officials want you to believe, they will imprison you! Of course, Hitler killed Jews but is it a crime to not believe that? Did you know that you only have to suggest that six million Jews were not killed by Hitler, and you will go to jail? If you quote Jewish experts who agree that the six million figure was inflated, you can go to jail! In fact, well-known historians have been imprisoned for years for that “crime.” That is where we are headed in this country.

Twelve nations punish people who question Hitler’s slaughter of Jews: Austria, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, and Switzerland—have criminalized Holocaust denial as punishable with imprisonment! Holocaust denial may be inaccurate and insane, but should it be illegal?

It is incredible that Christians, no, just sane people, in Canada and Germany would permit speech to be criminalized. Many of them don’t even know it is going on. “But Hitler was a monster.” Of course he was, but if the six million number is inaccurate, do you want to perpetuate that error? Would Hitler be any less a monster if he killed “only” three million Jews?

It would also be interesting to know why almost all the people who call Hitler a monster, don’t feel the same way about Marx, Lenin, and Stalin! Stalin killed far more people than Hitler, and Stalin killed his own people!

But the Gestapo spirit still lives and rules in Germany but modernized since they have criminalized the internet. The President of the Federal Criminal Police said, “Our free society must not allow a climate of fear, threat, criminal violence and violence either on the street or on the internet.” Therefore, social media users face up to five years in prison for “inciting racial hatred,” even if no physical violence is committed. Ah yes, such laws would make Goebbels, Goring, and Eichmann stand up and cheer!

These laws are supposed to punish discrimination but anyone who reads English can see that those laws are themselves discriminatory! Whatever happened to the noble principle of freedom of thought and expression? Can’t civilized people discuss anything without bellicosity? Hey, we question religion, existence of God, age of the earth. wars, motives, vaccinations, so why not question and debate any issue? The truth has nothing to fear from doubt, discussion, and debate.

Regarding motives, it didn’t help “inferior” victims to know that Hitler wanted a “pure” race and that Stalin wanted to kill a few million only as a political decision. Nothing personal; the victims only lived in the wrong place or were of the “wrong” race. But they were all very much dead.

Teaching Bible truths is not hate, and I will never permit anyone to tell me what to preach or write. There are not enough federal agents with all their guns, badges, warrants, etc., to influence my ministry. Period!

Let me make it very clear: I don’t hate anyone. In fact, I’m a lover. I try to get along with everyone. While I don’t like liberals, I do love them. After all, Christ died for them also. And a few of them may be in Heaven!

Many U.S. authorities may be liberals and globalists, but they aren’t idiots. Well, all of them aren’t. They know there are millions of us who will not accept “hate crime” legislation, but they will get our children and grandchildren! They are working on it today!

Your children are being brainwashed through public education, music, television, and movies. They are being taught that they should never criticize anyone or anything–well, except those odd Christians. They should never make a judgment that any value is better than another. Voodoo worship in Haiti is just as acceptable as the worship of a holy, loving, sovereign God! They must not “demean” others by suggesting that their lifestyle is less honorable than another’s.

Unless God sends a sweeping revival and parents take control of their children’s total education, the next generation is gone. Even now, younger people nod their heads and say, “Well, after all, the Bible does say, ‘Judge not.’” And that’s about the extent of their Bible knowledge, and it’s twisted knowledge.

Federal hate crime laws are in the works and you will be pommeled by prosecutors if leftist Republicans and Democrats have their way. Our critics on the left are preaching tolerance as they prepare shackles and prisons for those who disagree with them! We Christians may go to prison for our convictions but we will never build prisons for those who disagree with us and criticize us.

Hypocrites on the left have no shame.

Ebola: Intrusive Requirements for Everyone? https://donboys.cstnews.com/ebola-intrusive-requirements-for-everyone https://donboys.cstnews.com/ebola-intrusive-requirements-for-everyone#respond Mon, 13 Oct 2014 18:05:40 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=892 If the Ebola virus disease (EVD) explodes across America we can expect many oppressive but necessary laws to be passed. There will be limitations on personal liberty, but hopefully lawmakers will think these issues through, debate them, and implement only those most necessary.

Reasonable people will argue that, in times of emergency, extreme measures must be taken for everyone’s good; however, there is always a problem. When extreme measures are taken “for the present time,” some of them persist after the danger is past. There are many examples of that in our history. So we must ask questions and demand answers from the authorities.

There is no doubt that new, intrusive laws would be passed (or implemented) that would restrict our freedoms. There could be mandatory vaccination (if one is discovered) but what if you think the shots would be far worse than the risk of getting the disease? What if you refused the shots? If an Ebola outbreak happens in your city, you may be quarantined. What about your travelling job? What about seeing your children in another city? Will you obey a law that restricts public meetings such as church services, weddings, and funerals? If so, for how long?

Liberia’s president wants to confiscate private property to provide land to make public graveyards but people are resisting. She has also cremated more than a thousand Ebola victims although it is contrary to their culture and deeply held beliefs. Moreover, she has required journalists to get any Ebola-related story approved! Would Americans be compliant with such laws?

What will happen when a physician, dentist, nurse, undertaker, etc., refuses to handle an Ebola victim? Will they be prosecuted for discrimination? Many health workers will decide that they would rather be “tried by 12 than carried out by six.” There is opposition in Spain by 200 health workers and at LaGuardia Airport 200 airplane cabin cleaners walked off the job Wednesday evening. Will such protestors be prosecuted if this disease escalates?

Ebola is galloping across Africa and will probably be in every nation on the continent by the end of the year. One cause of the Ebola spread that no one has discussed is the African truck drivers who visit prostitutes along their cross national routes. Even if a man has survived EVD, he can still infect a woman for seven weeks following his recovery according to WHO! Most of our politicians and physicians (who are often politicians) are hoping, maybe even praying (!) that Ebola won’t explode here. Hoping won’t do anything to protect us from a plague and praying will only help if we follow God’s provision to combat it. Wringing of the hands won’t do much good either.

Consider that in A.D. 189, a great plague (thought to be smallpox) attacked the Roman Empire and 2,000 people died each day in Rome. Rome was in trouble at that time with internal strife, debased currency, encircling barbarians, and demoralization of the populace. Those complex problems were made infinitely worse by 2,000 deaths daily. The labor supply was dwindling, military campaigns were stopped or hindered, day-to-day business operations were paralyzed, and production of food almost ceased. The weakened Empire was grinding to a halt. I’m afraid that is the process in Africa as I write.

Liberia’s Ambassador to the United States confirmed in an interview with the BBC that his country is “close to collapse” as a result of this unprecedented Ebola outbreak. That’s the way it has always happened in the past. People panic, lose or quit their jobs, live from one day to the next, no hope for the future, no confidence in public officials, no concern for others in the same circumstances, and turn to crime to sustain themselves. Look for many African nations to collapse in a few months. The city of New Orleans had that very experience.

In 1878, a deadly plague started along the Gulf Coast of the U.S., almost wiping out some towns. It caused horror and fear wherever it hit. It slowly worked its way up the Mississippi River to New Orleans, killing the poor and prosperous, ignorant and intelligent, and city-folk and country-folk alike. Its name was whispered in awe: yellow fever.

New Orleans in 1878 was a prosperous, proud, and prissy city. Cotton was king, food was an obsession, dueling was common, and gambling was rampant. The wealthy lived in opulent, antebellum homes nestled along the Mississippi. Everyone knew that yellow fever was working its way north along the river, and everyone knew it was deadly; however, New Orleans officials and the media told everyone not to worry. Things would be all right. They wanted to believe that, but had no reason to believe it.

When the fever hit New Orleans, it was the worst plague to lash across the face of the city in its history. More than half of the inhabitants were killed and in fact, the city lost its charter and was not an official city until 14 years later. Public officials dallied, dawdled, delayed, and denied the danger thinking they were too smart, sophisticated, and special for such a thing to happen to them. It happened. Officials refused to take the warning seriously and everyone paid for it.

New Orleans may be a prototype of America when massive biological terrorism or a dangerous, deadly disease lashes the face of America from sea to shining to sea. Ebola is already here conveyed from Africa and officials are reacting in ineffective, even senseless ways. We must realize that we are not so smart, sophisticated, and special that such a thing could never happen here. Moreover, we must take immediate steps to prevent the worst case consequences.

It is only wise to plan for the worst, not the best. We should refuse to admit any tourist into the U.S. who has spent any time in any African nation unless he or she is willing to be quarantined for 21 days. Those travellers should be detained before they arrive in the U.S. All U.S. military, medical personnel, and government officials returning from Africa should be quarantined for 21 days. Frankly, all U.S. military troops should be returned immediately.

It should be assumed that the disease can be contracted through coughing and sneezing. A peer-reviewed study by German doctors published in the Oxford University Press reported Oct. 9 that they found that a patient showing no symptoms of the disease “can still transmit a virus like Ebola by air if droplets containing the virus are transmitted to another person by a sneeze or cough.” (Emphasis added.)

We must react as concerned, committed, and compassionate people who have the facts, rather than as people have historically reacted in times of distress, disease, and death.

I Betrayed my Principles and Voted for Expanded Government Power! https://donboys.cstnews.com/i-betrayed-my-principles-and-voted-for-expanded-government-power https://donboys.cstnews.com/i-betrayed-my-principles-and-voted-for-expanded-government-power#respond Wed, 27 Feb 2013 19:43:45 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=341 Each Wednesday I publish an old column of mine that I hope will be interesting, informative, and maybe inspiring. The following column was published in 2010.

As a member of the Indiana House of Representatives, I never skipped a vote or voted “present” (as did a leading politician of today) rather than go on record on a “hot” issue. Fact is, I introduced some of the hottest bills that came to the House such as teaching evolution and creation on an equal basis in public schools; reinstatement of the sodomy law; repeal and later expunging of the ERA; bringing back the death penalty; life sentence for rape; etc.

I did as I promised in my campaign by voting for bills that were constitutional, favored limited government, supported family values, and were financially responsible. I also voted against a legislators’ pay hike considering it immoral to raise my own salary. I was accused of taking such positions for “appearance sake” rather than principle.

Of course, I got all kinds of flack from both parties for many of my votes. On the memorialization of Martin Luther King, Jr., I was the only member of the House or Senate who voted “no,” a very loud “no.” Even my conservative friends were incensed since it made them appear “less than conservative.” They all agreed with me that a confessed fornicator (we knew even back then) did not deserve a special memoralization even though the bill meant nothing of consequence. The following January, the same thing happened exactly as before! I thought some of my “conservative” friends would join me voting “no,” but alas, they did not.

Under the same conditions, I would always vote the same as I did during my time in office with one exception. I voted to expand government in our lives, something totally against my personal and political positions. A South Bend legislator introduced a bill that would prohibit smoking in public buildings. I had been preaching against smoking all my adult life considering it a stinking habit. It was and is a habit that fouls everything, offends sensitive and allergic people, is a total waste of money and is one of the most stupid habits possible to imagine—putting fire to your face and sucking it into your lungs! Surely, we must protect people from killing themselves.

In the late 1960s, the Federal Government required tobacco companies to print health warnings on cigarette packages and forbade radio and television advertising. Now, in the late 70s, Indiana was considering forbidding smoking in any public building and I had to make a decision. I had never smoked a cigarette in my life but I hated them, even disliked being near people who smoked. However, would I vote to give government the authority to control individual lives? Government does not have that authority—power yes, authority no. I was about to become a do-gooder!

Reluctantly I decided to support the bill. The day we voted is still vivid in my memory. There was a circus atmosphere in the House chamber with members on the first three or four rows all smoking big cigars and blowing smoke-rings above their heads. The bill’s author made his pitch for support then I made my way to the podium. I told them about my hesitancy to give government even more power over our lives, but I said, “This is one time I will restrict my basic principles and support this bill. After all, (I looked at my colleagues in the front rows as they clowned with each other) you don’t have any more right to blow smoke into the air I breathe than I have a right to spit in the water you drink. Both are reprehensible. Please support this bill.”

As I made that closing statement, the clowns in the front rows literally came out of their seats in anger. Thankfully, the bill was defeated  but I was wrong to support it. I had sold out, not to special interests but to pragmatism; however, pragmatism should never trump principle. I had promised to always vote right no matter how it affected my friends, followers, foes, family, or finances. I did not imagine where the argument of “looking out for the people” was going to lead. Today, we know. I’m sorry I had a small part in leading America onto that famous “slippery slope” where we are cascading down toward disaster at breakneck speed.

We are hearing demands that the U.S. government start regulating food as CA has banned trans fats followed by New York City, Philadelphia, etc. I have eaten healthy food most of my adult life. I eat very little beef, no pork, and lots of fish and poultry. I have taken a handful of vitamins and supplements most of my adult life. I have never drunk a beer, wine, or whiskey, or smoked a cigarette in my life. Never had a cup of coffee or tea. No cola in 45 years! Therefore, most call me a health food nut but government has no business in this business!

While I am adamantly against smoking, I should have been outspoken back then against the tobacco legislation as a matter of principle. I should have fought all the intrusion since. It is past time to tell the state and federal governments to butt out of our personal lives.

State and Federal governments have taken control and have arrogantly assumed authority they do not have legitimately. They tax sodas because they are bad for us, and they are. They want to limit salt, sugar, hamburgers, etc. Question: what is next? Our freedoms are being lost a little at a time. Does it matter if it happens in an overt attack or over decades? When is freedom gone? Once gone, it is usually gone forever.

Lesson learned: Desirable ends are never justified by using debatable means. Principle must never capitulate to pragmatism.

I should have mounted a major effort to stop a power grab long ago in the Indiana House, but I failed. I sold out. It is not extreme to say that once legislators get a taste of power, they will never be satisfied but then they are only trying to “protect the citizens.”

At that time it was smoking in public buildings, now it is no toys in ”un-happy” meals and government authorized sexual abuse of citizens with officials grabbing genitals and breasts or stripping travellers naked by technology in all airports.

The empty cattle cars are parked on the sidetracks today. They are not there for cattle. They are there for sheep. Or is that sheeple?

Have Gun—Will Travel! Contact Bush, Washington, D.C. https://donboys.cstnews.com/have-gun-will-travel-contact-bush-washington-d-c https://donboys.cstnews.com/have-gun-will-travel-contact-bush-washington-d-c#respond Wed, 16 Jan 2013 21:44:02 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=292 Each Wednesday I publish one of my old columns that I hope will be informative, interesting, and at times, inspiring. The following column was written in 2007:

A ruggedly handsome, elegantly dressed man sits at his table in an expensive San Francisco hotel restaurant casually opening his morning mail. Slitting open a plain envelope, his own business card falls onto the table. Picking it up he reads, “Have Gun—Will Travel! Wire Paladin, San Francisco.”

Such was the regular opening of a 1957 popular television show set in the late 1800s that ran for six years, always in the top five. Accompanying his card was always a letter from someone in the Wild West who needed help from Paladin, a hired gun or medieval champion. The letter always convinced him to leave his comfortable hotel suite, dressed in black—wearing his famous gun, board a train, and travel to the troubled area to right some wrong.

President Bush thinks of himself as a modern Paladin: “Have Gun—Will Travel! Contact Bush, Washington, D.C.” The President has announced his desire to bring democracy and freedom to all parts of the world. Sensible people desire that every person on earth live in freedom; however, Bush has no constitutional authority to pursue that lofty goal. Furthermore, how practical is it to force our form of government on people with no concept of freedom and its obligations?

As to Muslim nations, the concept of democracy is totally unacceptable since it conflicts with the Koran and the Hadith. Those two “holy” books are the basis of all Islamic governments thereby not permitting freedom of religion, freedom of press, equal rights for women, etc. Hasn’t someone explained to the President that it is impossible for a Koranic nation to be a democracy?

Mr. Bush must understand that he is President not Paladin. He is limited by the chains of the Constitution and would we want it otherwise? Even if Congress authorized his altruistic adventures, they would still be illegal! After all, who made the U.S. the policeman of the world? Are we required to right every wrong? Do we have enough manpower to accomplish that task? Do we have unlimited funds to finance such activities? Was Jefferson wrong when he warned of getting involved in entangling alliances?

Does our position as world leader permit or require us to invade any nation at will to right all the wrongs? If so, will that principle be advocated when China is the world leader? If not, what is the difference? Is it because capitalism is good while communism is bad? Who defines “good” and “bad”? And while we are righting the wrongs, why have we not righted the wrongs in Cuba only ninety miles from our coast? Don’t the Cubans have a right to freedom? At least they have experience with freedom and democracy.

If Bush is so concerned with spreading freedom and taking on tyranny then he could stop giving two billion dollars annually to Egypt that has been under “Emergency Rule” for 25 years! The Land of the Pharaohs is also a place where prisoners are routinely tortured and vocal pro-freedom leaders are often jailed. In fact, Coptic Christians are being persecuted as I write. Where is Paladin? Bush is not concerned about Egyptian freedom.

How about freedom in Saudi Arabia? Has Bush demanded that his oil buddies in the House of Saud travel the road to democracy? Has he demanded the right for me to start the Trinity Baptist Church in Mecca? Maybe I could rent the Kaaba since it is not used on Sundays! Or maybe Bush could at least demand the right of U.S. diplomats to have a worship service in our own embassy each Sunday! All right, how about demanding the right for Americans who keep the oil flowing to have a worship service with their own family members without being arrested by the Saudi religious police! No, you have not heard Bush push freedom that far. Wonder why not?

Our international Paladin has declared war on “evil” and “terror” when it is not only unconstitutional but ridiculous. How will we know when the war is won? When evil and terror no longer exist? That will not happen, at least not until God does it.

The television Paladin did not declare war on every bad guy in the West but only by request on specific ones, so he always knew whether he was successful. (He was always successful!) However, in the real world, Bush can enumerate the bad guys his troops have captured or blasted into “Paradise,” but there is an ever expanding horde of religious fanatics who are willing to face him at high noon on the “dusty streets of Laredo.” Unlike the TV Paladin, Bush has no assurance he will win the shoot-out.

The President is fighting an enemy he does not understand nor is willing to understand. He glibly speaks of resisting “terror over there so we won’t have to fight them over here!” He does not realize that the battle could last a hundred years because the enemy is going to fight us no matter what we do until, as a nation, we capitulate to Muslim law. We will have to fight the enemy whatever our successes or failures in other nations. All Muslims know that they can never co-exist with non-Muslims except during a time of their weakness. When they reach the necessary strength, any temporary co-existence will cease. Would someone please tell President Bush that simple, shocking, and salient fact?

The President is not willing to say, “Our battle is with Koranic Muslims” who pursue martyrdom with gusto. Bush is like a wayward, warped Paladin who rides off helter-skelter to western towns looking for bad guys to shoot down. Paladin never ran out of bad guys to plug with his trusty .45 until the series ended. Someone should tell the President that this isn’t make-believe and the Muslim fanatics will continue to come and his pandering to Islam only enables them.

We had better plan for a very, very long bloody conflict with Koranic Muslims even if we declare victory and slip out of Iraq some night—before the 2008 elections. This global battle against evil and terror is one fight our hapless Paladin cannot win.

It is Dangerous to be Right When the Government is Wrong! https://donboys.cstnews.com/it-is-dangerous-to-be-right-when-the-government-is-wrong https://donboys.cstnews.com/it-is-dangerous-to-be-right-when-the-government-is-wrong#comments Fri, 21 Dec 2012 20:03:30 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=265 Few statements by Bible hater Voltaire are worth repeating but this one is worthwhile: “It is dangerous to be right when the government is wrong!” People have lost their jobs, been fined, and placed in prison because they dared to tell the truth about their government. There is a big difference in your country and the ruling party. However, principled people have no choice but to tell the truth and accept the consequences.

It is the responsibility of all thinking, honest people to stand against those who want to do them harm or imprison them! Or simply to steal some of their freedom “for their own sake” of course. I am not blaming Obama and his czars for seeking to rule since that is what wicked men have always tried to do to lazy, listless, and languid people. I am blaming those who so quickly submitted to his rule with very little or no protest. There are still Christians who defend voting for Obama!

I resist, I reject, and I refuse to keep quiet. I will not whimper my objections lying in a fetal position in a semi-dark bedroom but will scream them, almost incoherently, from a mountain top or more precisely from my computer, radio and television, church pulpit, magazines, and street corner if necessary. Obviously, I’m a little appalled, agitated, and angry.

George Orwell said, “In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act.” George was right!

America has been stolen from us by the public school system, the media, Hollywood lowlifes, academia, and Liberal politicians. Because lies have been told so often, for so long, and in such enormity, our enemy is perceived as correct and exemplary while common, calm, and cautious people are thought to be corrupt and extremists!

It is shocking that so many people think it is wrong to speak out against their government when that is exactly what all patriots should be doing. It is not disloyal to criticize your president. An informed, indignant, and impatient patriot must always be ready to defend his country against his government. Theodore Roosevelt said, “That we are to stand by the president, right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” That’s one Roosevelt who was right.

My government is wrong and I am right about welfare. How can any thinking person defend, let alone promote, taking money from the rich and giving it to the poor? However, Obama, socialistic Democrats, and RINOs make that argument without shame or apology. Obama seems to think he is the Sheriff of Nottingham one day and Robin Hood the next day. Of course, the Sheriff was a tyrant and Robin was a thief. Obama is more like the winsome “Thief of Bagdad,” who somehow conjured, cheated, and cajoled enough people to elect him President of the United States. Maybe we will all wake up, rub our eyes, stretch, then realize that it has all been a bad dream or, more appropriately, a bone-chilling nightmare!

How can principled people permit government to continue taking care of them into eternity? Don’t they have any self-respect, ambition, or character? It is difficult to justify even a temporary handout but a perpetual handout that is thought to be deserved is shocking, shameless, and stupid. It is time to stop taking from the producers and giving to the parasites. To continue is illegal, insane, and insipid. If government continues to take from Peter to give to Paul, it can always expect Paul to be its supporter. My name is “Peter” and I want Obama’s hand out of my back pocket.

We have lived so long with the butchering of innocent babies that even Christians are insensitive to the slaughter. Yet “normal” people defend that sinful act as if it is noble, if not nice. The sin/crime is compounded by forcing taxpayers to fund the killings! Obama even voted against a bill to protect the life of aborted babies that somehow managed to live. Moreover, his wife lobbied for a partial birth abortion bill! Pharaoh of Egypt waited until after the babies were born to butcher them!

We are told that perversion is now legal, even respectable. You can call perversion (sodomy) by any name you want but it is still abnormal, aberrant, and abominable. You can put lipstick, rouge, and eye shadow on a dirty hog, but it is still a dirty hog–and sane, honest people can see what it is. By declaring that it is a dirty, fat, gross hog, does not mean we hate the hog. No, we simply see before us a dirty, fat, gross hog and calling it something else changes nothing. It only makes the “hogs are beautiful” crowd look silly, blind, or dishonest. Maybe all three!

Now we are told that homosexuals not only have a right to sleep together but we must respect and appreciate their “many contributions” to society (such as AIDS?). Of course, they demand the “right” to get married, (don’t expect a wedding gift from me) adopt children, join our churches (without repentance), teach our children and be accepted as normal people. No, not as long as Christian people exist, but then that could change also with the lack of commitment of modern Christians.

If Obama has the power to make you believe in absurdities such as welfare, abortion, and sodomy, he has the power to justify and force you to believe and agree to anything. However, Christians don’t permit government to decide what is right; that is God’s decision as expressed in the Scriptures.

We must never confuse principled disagreement with government policies, people, and programs with pernicious disloyalty to your country. The first should be promoted and the second prosecuted. Whatever the result, I will decide, not anyone else, what is right for me and if the government is wrong, I will tell them they are–whatever the result.

Egypt: How Do You Spell Hypocrite in Arabic? https://donboys.cstnews.com/egypt-how-do-you-spell-hypocrite-in-arabic https://donboys.cstnews.com/egypt-how-do-you-spell-hypocrite-in-arabic#comments Tue, 02 Oct 2012 11:09:50 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=107 Egyptian President Morsi and other Middle East Muslim leaders have been lecturing the U.S. about freedom, yet they demand a worldwide law prohibiting any criticism of Islam! Maybe Morsi really doesn’t know the meaning of freedom. I assure you that the largest Christian group in Egypt could teach him the definition.

Coptic Christians make up 10% of Egypt’s population although they were the major religious group at one time. They can trace their history back 19 centuries. Following the Arab Spring, the Copts have been fleeing to the freedom of America, most being young professionals and businessmen. If they have money, they are leaving Egypt for the Promised Land–America. I know another group that fled Egyptian oppression a few thousand years ago!

Morsi had words of praise for Obama’s strong decisive and quick support of the Arab Spring revolutions, while normal, sane people realized that the Arab Spring (what a misnomer!) would become the Arab Winter. The outraged Muslims protested, rioted, set fires (some to themselves), burned our flag, and killed our ambassador! If that is Spring, what about Winter? It seemed the Middle East was aflame starting in Tunisia (Dec, 20, 2011), then to Egypt on Jan. 1, followed by riots in Algeria then to Libya. It seemed to be contagious as protests hit Yemen and even friendly Jordan. The fanatics (not freedom-fighters) were on the march and some U.S. politicians praised them as the “good guys.” Some fools even expected democracy! A Muslim democracy is an oxymoron.

All informed observers knew the rebels were fanatics (except for some tagalong idealistic Islamists) and their success would be far worse than the dictators they overthrew. We saw it with ruthless Gaddafi (who had become more toothless than ruthless) in Libya and Mubarak in Egypt. And we are about to see that same thing in Syria. At least those dictators kept the peace, protected (to a measure) religious rights, and showed some sensibilities about U.S. government interests. After all, we sent them boatloads of money, and while those Muslim leaders may have been authoritarians, they weren’t idiots.

Morsi added that he believed that Americans supported “the right of the people of the region to enjoy the same freedoms that Americans have.” He did not promise to guarantee the right of his fellow Egyptians to change religions from Islam to Christianity; however, it is very legal for a Christian to convert to Islam! How do you spell hypocrite in Arabic?

He also stood by his previous assertion that neither a woman nor a Christian would be a suitable president.  Wonder why the radical U.S. media did not rip into him like a school of hungry piranhas attacking a piece of fresh meat?

Even worse is his support for the jihadists: “The Quran is our constitution. The Prophet Muhammad is our leader. Jihad is our path. And death for the sake of Allah is our most lofty aspiration.” And yes, I know Muslims try to convince us that jihad is “an inner struggle,” but my Koran, published in Saudi Arabia (can’t get more authoritative than that) says in a footnote that jihad is “holy fighting in Allah’s cause.” Moris is a dedicated, dangerous, and devious fanatic who should not be trusted when quoting the multiplication tables.

He is an arrogant jerk but he does have plenty of chutzpa (Yiddish for audacity–not sure if Arabs have a parallel word) to expect a billion dollars of U.S. aid to keep his government from sinking into the Mediterranean Sea where fanatical Muslims want to put Israel. Not sure about the secret bank accounts.

If Muslims try to enforce Sharia law on the U.S. and limit or remove our First Amendment freedom of speech, no doubt they will be met by many true freedom-fighters who also believe in the Second Amendment and will thusly send the Muslims to meet the fictitious 72 virgins sooner than they expected to fulfill their “most lofty aspiration.”

Egypt: The International Welfare Window is Closed! https://donboys.cstnews.com/egypt-the-international-welfare-window-is-closed https://donboys.cstnews.com/egypt-the-international-welfare-window-is-closed#comments Mon, 01 Oct 2012 13:43:57 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=100 Muslim fanatics throughout the Middle East have taken time from beating their wives to riot, burn, kill, and destroy American property. Their leaders in Egypt, Pakistan, and Indonesia have tethered their camels and come in from the desert to lecture Americans on free speech, dignity, and film making. Those Muslim leaders want the UN to “criminalize” blasphemy against the Koran, Islam, and Mohammed using the amateur, anti-Muslim film by a Coptic “Christian” (who immigrated to America) as a justification for their demands. At the same time they make their demands about insulting the Koran, they insult our Constitution!

I am not defending blasphemy, real or imagined, but everyone has a right to believe what he chooses–in America. However, it is a defense of freedom to say and write what one chooses to say or write except for slander and libel. I honestly will defend a Muslim’s right to blaspheme Christ and the Bible and to worship the pagan moon god Allah if he chooses. In the U.S., Muslims have freedom of religion, something they could not enjoy in Islamic nations which they seem to have forgotten. Short retention span.

Muslims must drag themselves into the 21st century and understand that to be offended is simply a fact of life. I have often been offended by their blasphemy of Christ but I don’t retaliate by flying a plane into a mosque or burning down a public building as a reasonable reaction.

Egypt is a Muslim nation now ruled by an extremist named Mohamed Morsi who was educated in the U.S. but has been in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood for many years. He says he got out of his bed and now only sits at the feet of the Muslim Brotherhood. The Muslim Brotherhood is as unstable, unreliable, and undesirable as a basket of rattlesnakes. (However, a rattlesnake warns you before striking.) They have been implicated in riots, arson, and murder of political opponents. Former Egyptian leader, Anwar Sadat, even released some political prisoners and they showed their gratitude by killing him at a public ceremony in 1981!

President Morsi said “the United States needed to fundamentally change its approach to the Arab world, showing greater respect for its values….” No, the Arab world needs to show respect to this nation since we have funded them for 50 years. (Billions of dollars!) Much of that money has gone into secret bank accounts of corrupt leaders. Since Egypt has chosen sides with the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, they should never receive another dollar from us. No ammunition, arms, or any assistance. Not a paper clip. No more money, honey. The international welfare window is closed.

He said the United States must respect the Arab world’s history and culture, even when that conflicts with Western values. But how can any sane, sober, sensible person respect a nation that does not respect its own people? An Egyptian Muslim cannot change to another religion. Baby girls are mutilated by cutting away their clitoris. Young Egyptian girls are forced into marriages with Muslim men–old dudes. I have no respect but plenty of repulsion, revulsion, and repugnance. Alas, I suppose that makes me a hater.

Morsi repeatedly vowed to uphold “equal citizenship rights of all Egyptians, regardless of religion, sex or class.” However, he did not go into specifics such as the right of Coptic Christians to build their own churches. For many years, Copts have had to get a permit to make repairs or add a bathroom to their church buildings! A permit that was almost never granted. Baptists are wasting their time trying to build a church; however, Muslim mosques are not restricted. I know of one Baptist Church in Egypt!

Egypt is the fifth worst country in the world for religious freedom, so I suggest before he lectures the U.S. anymore, Morsi should ring the Liberty Bell for everyone in his nation.
