Hillary – Don Boys https://donboys.cstnews.com Common Sense for Today Sun, 05 Mar 2023 04:46:50 +0000 en-US hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=4.6.29 My Position on Trump Disappointing to Friend! https://donboys.cstnews.com/my-position-on-trump-disappointing-to-friend https://donboys.cstnews.com/my-position-on-trump-disappointing-to-friend#respond Mon, 07 Nov 2016 18:31:47 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1635 One of my oldest and dearest friends is disappointed in me for my advocacy for Trump and for being critical of those who support anyone but him. I had given my reasons for voting for Trump in a recent column: a vote for anyone but Trump is a vote to kill more babies, much higher taxes, the perverted rainbow flag waving over the White House, disastrous Supreme Court Justices that will be foisted upon our children and grandchildren for generations, etc. You get the idea.

My momma taught me to be careful about the crowd I run with and when I consider the crowd supporting Hillary, I am reassured my decision is the right decision. My friend does not support her but if he votes for anyone but Trump, I believe in effect, he would be supporting Hillary. My Never-Trump friends are going to vote for a third party and that is far better and more principled than not voting. Hillary is supported, almost fanatically by the media, academia, the low-life entertainment industry, the corrupt and disreputable Democrat Party and the corrupt and disreputable Republican Party, the Communist Party, National Association of Women, labor unions, George Soros, Jerry Springer, Whoope Goldberg, Ellen DeGeneres, Hugh Hefner, porn “stars” Jenna Jameson and Tiger Tyson, and on and on and on.

However, for a person like my principled friend to cast a vote that would result in Hillary being in control he would have to be highly principled since he knows of the practical consequences.

I told my friend that I was not critical of his principles but of his decision. The fact is he is as principled as I am or more so. He has been far more consistent on this issue than I. I have been up and down, in and out, off and on, for and against Trump and have wrestled more with this than anything else. Both my friend and I want to do the right thing. He is not willing to choose between bad and badder, leaving the results up to God. That is very principled and I respect that decision without agreeing it is the best decision. I am willing to choose between bad and badder, leaving the results up to God. God used very wicked leaders in the past such as Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus the Great, and others.

There is a biblical incident that speaks to this issue. The most shocking and important event in the life of the Hebrew nation happened following the death of King Solomon. He had reigned over a massive empire that stretched from the Mediterranean Sea to the River Euphrates. Nobles came from the known world to see the magnificent city of Jerusalem and especially the Temple that was unrivaled in the world. Solomon was known for his wealth, wisdom, wives, wine, writings, wickedness, and his works. Wow, what a builder Solomon was. His son Rehoboam was a spoiler.

Because Solomon turned his back on God, God turned his back on him and God told him He would rend the kingdom from him and give it to another. Jeroboam was not royalty but he was a “man of valour.” He had been employed by Solomon to superintend the improvements and buildings at Millo. He would become king of a divided nation ruling the nation of Israel in the northern part of the country.

Solomon had spent huge sums of money to beautify the city and the people were almost in revolt but refused to do so out of respect for his father David and respect for the kingdom. Rehoboam was David’s son and heir to the throne but his advisors were tax and spend liberals. The older level-headed, conservative dudes advised him to not follow his daddy’s tax plan. They promised him the people would “be thy servants forever” if they got some relief from their tax burden; however, Rehoboam listened to the young progressives and promised to increase their tax burden! Not very smart. The people fled to their tents in disgust. They were willing to be ruled, but not to be ridden.

The kingdom split like a ripe watermelon with Israel consisting of ten tribes ruling from Samaria and Judah and Benjamin ruling as Judah from Jerusalem. What must be remembered is that while the machinations involved in this tragic division were wicked, the outcome was God’s will. The human reason for the division was tax and spend liberals. They are always with us.

Had I been there, I and my friend would have stayed with Rehoboam even with his haughtiness, harassment, and zero humility and would have paid the exorbitant taxes. We would not have chosen to leave God’s chosen city Jerusalem and the Temple. We would have choices. After all, I sure would not want to live under Jeroboam and his two golden calves at Dan and Bethel and support false priests and a fraudulent altar. Rehoboam, likewise, apostatized permitting the high places and the sodomites. There was a choice between bad and very bad–as always.

Donald Trump may do, or try to do, everything he promised to do. Or he may be a fraud, a farce, and a fool. It is doubtful that he will be as radical, rebellious, and reckless as Jeroboam.

After all, he has to give an account to the American people–and Bobby Knight!

Never-Trumpers: My Best and Last Shot! https://donboys.cstnews.com/never-trumpers-my-best-and-last-shot https://donboys.cstnews.com/never-trumpers-my-best-and-last-shot#respond Fri, 04 Nov 2016 00:00:55 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1630 We will wake up Wednesday morning and discover that Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton will be the President of the United States. That thought made me shudder as I wrote it.

I have tried to be clear about my position in this race. I preferred Ted Cruz but Trump beat him “fair and square.” However, I would never choose to vote for Trump simply because he is now wearing the Republican label. I’m not sure what he will do as President; however, I know about Hillary and so do you. I ask the Never-Trumpers to reconsider their hostile anti-Trump position for the sake of the nation. Please hear me out.

You may be concerned of accusations that you have flip-flopped, you’re a waffler, or that you make decisions by putting your finger to the wind. Such is life. Live with it so you can live with your conscience.

It will be difficult after you have gone on record and told your family and friends why your conscience will not permit you to vote for Trump. Now, it is difficult to make a major change and go in another direction. (However, you could simply vote for Trump and no one would know that but you!) Tolstoy referred to the principle of changing one’s position when he wrote, “I know that most men…can seldom accept even the simplest and most obvious truth if it be such as would oblige them to admit the falsity of conclusions which they have delighted in explaining to colleagues, which they have proudly taught to others, and which they have woven, thread by thread, into the fabrics of their lives.”

But other men of principle have changed their positions under great odds.

Anthony Flew was known as the “most famous atheist in the world” and stated his change of position in There is a God: How the World’s Most Notorious Atheist Changed His Mind! Flew said that he followed the Socrates’ principle of going where the evidence leads. I wrote about Flew in The God Haters: “The late Dr. Antony Flew, the most influential atheistic philosopher of the twentieth century and the most famous atheist in the world (before his late-life conversion to theism), admitted, ‘It now seems to me that the findings of more than fifty years of DNA research have provided materials for a new and enormously powerful argument to design.’”

In 2006, Flew even signed a letter along with others requesting that intelligent design be taught in England’s public schools! This is not to say that Flew accepted Christ as Savior and joined a Bible-preaching church but he did make a major shift in his life resulting in his collogues and friends ridiculing and rejecting, but not responding to his position.

I wrote in Evolution: Fact, Fraud, or Faith? about Dr. Richard Lumsden, Professor of Parasitology and Cell Biology at Tulane University and former Dean of the Graduate school of Biological Sciences. He has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers.

After the professor was challenged by a graduate student for scientific reasons for evolution he said, “The culmination was finding myself before a saving altar on my knees, a stiff necked, broken inobedient [sinner] asking Jesus to come into my life and be my lord and personal savior.” Now a committed Christian and creationist, because of scientific evidence, Lumsden debates other scientists and testifies of his faith in the Christ of the Bible!

That took courage after spending his life going in the other direction.
During the First World War, Martin Niemöller was a successful German U-boat captain and also a staunch and patriotic nationalist. He welcomed Hitler coming to power in 1933; however, in 1937 he was imprisoned for criticizing Hitler’s religious policies. When the war ended, he admitted guilt over the holocaust and became a prominent pacifist. While his pacifism is not commendable, his willingness to change the whole direction of his life and even risk his life is commendable.

Niemöller was not quick to change positions and speak out against Hitler. In fact, he said, “First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Socialist. Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.” Someday it will be too late to speak for the unborn, the innocent, the powerless, and the despised.

If anti-Trumpers stay home or do not vote for Trump, they will wake up Wednesday morning realizing they will help butcher millions of babies and pay for the “privilege.”

They will advance the LGBTQ crowd and practically have the rainbow flag flying over the White House.

Americans will be forced to live with Obamacare from now on. Do you want that in your future and can you afford it? Can you afford to pay for a huge increase in the minimum wage? Can you afford to pay for “free” college and do you really want to fund what many think are “ignorance factories”? I will vote for Trump simply because I can’t afford Hillary at the helm.

Hillary will force upon future generations two or three U.S. Supreme Court Judges that will make it impossible for churches to operate with a modicum of liberty; guarantee special restrooms everywhere even in all churches and Christian schools; and confiscate every gun in America. You can stop that.

The Never-Trumpers have not spent a lifetime but less than a year advocating against Trump so it is not like they have engraved their position in stone. It should not be a major decision to agree (for the good of America) to basically save America to provide us a few more years of relative freedom.

The philosopher Schopenhauer reportedly noted, “All Truth passes through three stages: First with ridicule, then with violent opposition, and finally acceptance as self-evident.” That has proved true in this election and Trump’s candidacy.

All principled people hold to truth wherever it leads them, no matter what it costs or how much it hurts. John Maynard Keynes, the most influential economist of the 20th century reportedly said, “When my information changes, I alter my conclusions. What do you do, sir?”

What will you do, sir and madam?

What Evil Must a Politician Do to be Kicked Out of His or Her Church? https://donboys.cstnews.com/what-evil-must-a-politician-do-to-be-kicked-out-of-his-or-her-church https://donboys.cstnews.com/what-evil-must-a-politician-do-to-be-kicked-out-of-his-or-her-church#respond Wed, 02 Nov 2016 21:44:20 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1628 Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump should be removed from membership by their respective churches! If I were their pastor, I would have no choice but to confront their unchristian living, request their repentance and if he or she refused, have them voted out of church membership! Being President of the United States has its privileges but being exempt from church discipline is not one.

Their pastors should demand a private meeting with each, without lawyers or secret service agents present and say, “We have been flattered to have you and your spouse as members of our church; however, your Christian life has been called into question and must be dealt with. Many people may agree or disagree with your spending programs; your plans to deal with the immigration time bomb; your tax program; etc. Good people will disagree over those positions, but I am obligated to deal with you as your brother in Christ and as your pastor who must give an account for your souls. I cannot show you any favoritism because of your position as our future president.”

The pastor then should remind them that when they joined the church they knew that it was founded on the Bible, consequently, all members were expected to live according to Biblical precepts; however, both Clinton and Trump have failed to live an exemplary life and have demonstrated no responsiveness, remorse, or repentance.

Clinton’s Methodist pastor should say. “Mrs. Clinton, as your pastor, I only want the best for you and Bill. You will be our President in January and Bill will be the “First Gentleman,” but I am obligated to God and our church as well as to you to deal with you as an erring member. Hopefully, you will repent, make restitution where possible, and return to the Christian path.

“You have embarrassed our church by your fanatical pro homosexual advocacy. It may help you politically but by giving succor to that crowd that needs to know Christ in forgiveness of sins, you encourage them and are a “partaker of [their] evil deeds.” Your position also gives credence to their silly and wrong assertion that they “were born that way.” You must repent and apologize, then keep quiet on the subject. Now, you are to become our president but you don’t have authority to change millennia of Bible teaching that homosexuality is an evil that must be repented of to experience forgiveness and receive the grace of God.

“Hillary we love you but you are embarrassing our church when you indulge in boozing as we observed you guzzling a “boilermaker” with a beer chaser in an Indiana bar. Moreover, when you are in the White House, you must not have any alcohol in any private or formal dinner. If foreign dignitaries don’t like that, then you will have to tell them they can stay home–or drink the water. The Bible clearly teaches that it is wrong to provide alcohol to others. It must stop.

“Furthermore, your cursing fits are legendary especially the one where you threw your Bible at the head of a secret service agent and used the most vulgar curse word. That was one of the most disgraceful episodes in modern history. It requires a private confession and a public apology. Americans must understand that such actions are damaging and disgraceful, if not demented. Moreover, it is not seemly to curse, scream, and throw lamps at Bill. Obviously, you two should have attended our Christian Couples’ Conference last month. You would have found especially helpful the session, ‘Why a Christian Wife Should Never Throw Things at Her Husband!’ and Bill could have been helped by the session, ‘Bad Things Happen When a Man Doesn’t Control His Zipper!’

“Mrs. Clinton, God condemns lying as a horrible sin and you seem to have a graduate degree in lying. One of the Ten Commandments condemns and forbids lying. That is a command of God to the President of the U.S. as it is to the lowliest member of this church. Even if you are sorry for that sin, it must be confessed to our church so our youth and the general public will understand that Christians don’t talk that way, not even the President of the United States. You are not an exception.

“You were far from acting like a Christian when you empowered Bill in his role as sexual predator and even hurt, harassed, and harangued Bill’s victims. You added to their victimhood by your defense of him and intimidation of those innocent ladies.

“Finally, Hillary, you are one of the biggest promoters of baby killing in the world. How you can sleep at night is beyond my comprehension. You must stop any promotion of abortion and do what you can as President to stop the slaughter of the innocent ones. Your abortion position repudiates your membership in this church and frankly in the human race.

“Now, will you pray with me as you confess your litany of sins and leave this office a forgiven sinner walking the path that millions have walked before you? Hillary, where are you going?

“Well, at least she didn’t throw a lamp at me.”

Donald Trump says he is a Presbyterian although he said he attends the Marble Collegiate Church in Manhattan. He is seldom in any church as was true of Reagan. It should be mentioned that it is a sin to miss church without a good reason. In fact, churches in the seventh century brought church discipline to any member who was absent from church threes services in succession without cause!

Trump’s pastor should commend Trump for his success of late in business and politics then tell him that he must conform to Biblical teaching. “Donald, I am very glad to see you since I don’t see you in church very often. Seriously, Donald, you joined our membership and because of your high visibility, you represent us in everything you do; therefore, I must hold your feet to the fire as I do our lowliest members.

“First of all, you are a bad example for youth when you curse. Your use of hell, damn, and the like are totally unnecessary, uncivil, and unchristian.

“You also must repent of having a baby out of wedlock. It was wrong, a sin that must be repented of as an example to others. You are not above any other member of this church. Being President of the United States and leader of the free world is a temporary position but being a member of this church is spiritual in nature. You do not have a right to sleep around. You must repent and give evidence of that repentance. It will not be acceptable to say, ‘I made a mistake,’ or ‘If I have offended anyone, I’m sorry.’ No, you must admit that you broke your marriage vows, lusted after a woman, and then satisfied your lusts in an ungodly, wicked way.

Donald, you and Melania missed our Christian Couples’ Conference last month and it would have been a great help to your marriage, especially the session, “It is Good for a Man Not to Touch a Woman” based on I Corinthians 7:1.

“Donald, you are doing great damage to families with your casinos where people go to try to get something for nothing. That is not a Christian concept. Moreover, your hotels and resorts sell booze which is forbidden in Scripture. We are warned not to provide strong drink to others. So, you must sell your casinos and stop selling booze in your hotels or leave the membership of this church. Now, will you bow your head in genuine sorrow for your sin, confess that sin to God, and apologize to the church membership this Sunday night for your wicked, willful, and worldly behavior?

“Donald, where are you going?”

All right, that’s enough. I could go on and on and on. Everyone knows neither Trump nor Clinton will stand at the church altar sobbing uncontrollably, confessing sin, as did another head of state thousands of years ago when he cried, “Have mercy upon me , O God…blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin….Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

The two candidates’ pastors do not have the moral courage to call for their repentance, but what is shocking, even alarming is that Fundamentalist and Evangelical leaders are often silent about sin in their membership. Many pastors are critical of Clinton and Trump but permit erring members to continue in sinful living. Where are all the pro-family spokesmen and spokeswomen demanding repentance?

It is my opinion that many Evangelical churches are an appendage of the Republican Party, and their pastors are aging and graceless cheerleaders for the GOP. They are strong on preaching and soft on principle. Too many pastors are hypocrites who can’t even spell principle. Principal, yes; principle, no. Churches used to be the moral compass of America; but instead of a force to be reckoned with, they have become a farce to be ridiculed. Almost all churches fail in exercising church discipline.

Trump and Clinton’s pastor should develop a spine and tell each one, “Either get right or get out.”

I was Wrong; Cruz was Right! https://donboys.cstnews.com/i-was-wrong-cruz-was-right https://donboys.cstnews.com/i-was-wrong-cruz-was-right#respond Sat, 23 Jul 2016 03:36:08 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1517 When Senator Cruz did not endorse Trump for president Thursday night, I remarked to my wife, “We just watched a man commit political suicide.” I had supported Cruz from day one because of his clear Christian testimony, his commitment to constitutional principles, and his courageous stand in the senate against almost everyone. I expressed concern in my columns about his wife having worked for the CFR but was willing to overlook that failure since everyone is flawed. He was far superior to Trump in every way except Trump’s business acumen.

After it was obvious that Trump was to be the nominee, I declared that I would hold my nose and vote for Trump; however, I soon realized that I couldn’t hold my nose that tightly. I began to wobble and waver, and wondered aloud if I should not vote for a third party or do a write in vote leaving the consequences to God. After all, He can manipulate events to put His choice in office.

Rather quickly, I experienced a seizure of common sense and decided that I could vote for Trump with the expectation that he might really build the wall; that he might really cut taxes; that he might really deal with terrorism; that he might really appoint conservative federal judges; and that he might really handle the debt crisis. So, I boarded the Trump Train albeit in the caboose.

I will do what I can to get Trump elected but I can’t get excited about it. The Republican platform is good, even exceptional, while the convention reached the highest highs and the lowest lows. The lows were having a homosexual speak and given a standing ovation (do I hear the GOP closet door creaking open?) and having a Muslim deliver the benediction. (This dude has four active Maryland court charges totaling more than $26,000 in unpaid bills against him.) But then I don’t have much right to complain since I stopped supporting the Grand Old Progressives many years ago. I often vote for them but stopped writing checks.

I was discouraged, disappointed, and disturbed when Ted refused to keep his pledge to support the nominee. I surmised that he was being petty, petulant, and personal for sure. And political, with his eyes locked on the future. Then I started thinking with my brain instead of my gut.

Ted was now in a quandary: He could not keep his commitment to support the GOP nominee and also give the honor due his wife and father. He chose to put his family first and I would have done the same—in a heartbeat. I believe he did it knowing it might ruin him politically.

I had joined the throng that demanded Cruz say the magic words: “I endorse Trump!” I wrestled with myself for twenty-four hours then applied the principle I have followed all my adult life: I put myself in Ted’s place and realized I, too, would have put family first under the same circumstances. Yes, Ted had promised to support the nominee but surely that was with the reasonable, responsible, and realistic caveat that the nominee did not turn out to be a closet communist or child molester, etc. Ted could not have known that Trump would insult his wife or accuse his father of being connected with the Kennedy assassination!

Trump supporters should keep in mind that Trump has never apologized for his scurrilous accusations. Trump needs to understand that money cannot purchase character or class. If he had either, he would apologize for his vicious, personal attacks on the Cruz family.

I think Ted could have been a little wiser during his speech without alienating anyone. He could have said, “I congratulate Donald Trump for a stunning win, an exemplary platform, and for an exciting convention. I will vote for the Republican ticket in November and I hope he and Pence win. I think he will make a great president even though he is as shameless as an egg-sucking dog.”

It is better to have principled division than a delusional, defective, or dishonest conformity. Trump for president and Ted Cruz for a lifetime seat on the U.S. Supreme Court!

Now that would give Hillary and her pathetic progressives perpetual palpitations.

Should Principled People Vote for Trump? https://donboys.cstnews.com/should-principled-people-vote-for-trump https://donboys.cstnews.com/should-principled-people-vote-for-trump#respond Tue, 12 Jul 2016 15:46:37 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1500 Donald Trump may be a tall Mussolini with a New York accent who will destroy the Republican Party, devastate Conservativism, and disgrace America. Or, he might be the one non-politician who can lead us out of the wilderness into the Promised Land.

I have made the argument many times in my columns that Trump is a terrible candidate for President–of anything! I have always taken the position that Cruz was far more preferable even with the problem of his wife working for the CFR for a time. I pointed out to a friend that at least she did not pose nude as did Trump’s present wife. And Trump has been married three times and has boasted of his affairs with married women!

However, Trump has been chosen by millions of Republicans as their nominee. So, now what do we do? I took the position that if the choice were between Hillary and Trump, I would hold my nose and vote for Trump. But, I wonder if I can hold my nose that tightly. Now, understand that I think he would be far better than Hillary, but that is not the question. The question is, since Trump has changed his positions so many times and is obviously not born again or a Conservative, is it time to cast a principled (rather than a pragmatic) vote and acknowledge the results are in God’s hands? I will have to decide that question soon.

I have used the argument that we are electing a president not a pastor and I have used the “lesser of two evil” argument but the choice is still an evil. Charles Spurgeon said, “Of two evils, choose neither.” Maybe it is time to see if we really believe what we have been teaching: that men are responsible to do right, leaving the consequences with God as happened with the Hebrew nation.

Solomon was dead after a 40 year reign and was known for his wealth, his women, his wisdom, his writings, his works, wantonness, and his wine. He experienced the greatest success and the greatest failures of any man on earth and finally died after acquiescing to his pagan wives and the rejection of his great spiritual heritage of his father, King David.

Solomon’s son Rehoboam ascended the throne among strong criticism of his recently deceased father. Solomon had laid heavy taxes on the people to support his many works, including the erection of pagan chapels for his heathen wives! Apostasy! Solomon’s older advisors politely suggested that the newly crowned Rehoboam lift some of the tax burden but Rehoboam rejected the old men and heeded the young men: tax and spend even more. He did and the nation split like a very ripe watermelon. That lesson has been forgotten by modern politicians.

It was God’s will for the Hebrew Kingdom, the greatest on the face of the earth that stretched from the Mediterranean Sea to the Euphrates, to split into Israel the Northern Kingdom and Judah, the Southern Kingdom. So the great Kingdom of David and Solomon split because it was God’s will although the increased taxes was stupid, but leaders do stupid things–often.

After the split, God told Rehoboam, “Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me.” God brought judgment upon the nation because they followed after pagan gods and forsook His commandments. God was getting their attention.

Maybe that is what God will do with America. A litany of departures from God and Biblical principles is not necessary since we read of them every day in the newspapers. Nor is there serious debate about whether God brings judgment upon nations. He does and we get what we deserve. Maybe we deserve Trump or Hillary!

The Bible teaches that God puts men on the throne as He chooses. Dan. 2:21 reveals, “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings.” Verse 37 reveals “Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.” So, Daniel clearly teaches that God puts on the throne those whom He chooses; moreover, the Scripture and history reveal that Nebuchadnezzar was a boastful, bigoted, and blasphemous candidate, er, king. It was God’s sovereign will for him to be king of the first world empire and to be a chastening agent for the rebellious Hebrew nation.

If God wants Trump or Hillary to be president then He can provide the circumstances to produce enough votes to accomplish His will. If there is another terrorist attack on America before the election then Trump’s election will be a “cake walk.”

I am concerned that Trump may be a disaster leading us into wars, reneging on building a wall, devastating the economy because of high tariffs, etc. and the “etc.” scares me. I don’t want to bear any guilt for his “accomplishments.”

While I am not sure what I will do, I may justify not voting for Trump with the above principle as my reason. Not sure right now. So, depending on the circumstances during the next few months and my conscience, I may vote for someone other than Hillary or Trump. After all, if God is in control, then He will also handle the consequences.

Who am I to think I can thwart the plan of a sovereign God!

Trump: a Rude, Crude, Lewd Dude! https://donboys.cstnews.com/trump-a-rude-crude-lewd-dude https://donboys.cstnews.com/trump-a-rude-crude-lewd-dude#comments Fri, 22 Jan 2016 21:15:40 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=1338 Full disclosure: I don’t like Donald Trump as a person or performer or politician although I have said that I would vote for him (very reluctantly) given the Democrat choices. Nevertheless, being an Evangelical (more precisely a Fundamentalist) I am amazed at the Christians who have drunk Trump’s brand of Kool-Aid. They need to wipe their lips and rethink their support for him.

He is bold, blunt, brash, boastful, and bombastic none of which would eliminate him but I don’t like his gambling empire which is associated with booze and prostitution. He, of course, is not a conservative since he has been all over the map. He appears to be an opportunist. He doesn’t seem to know what he believes about abortion, but he knows that it is permissible to take private property for his own use! No Conservative, no Constitutionalist, no Christian can agree with that.

He told “60 Minutes” on Sept. 27, 2015 that he is for universal health care: “I am going to take care of everybody.” He added, “the government’s gonna pay for it.” That’s you and me. As to abortion he would continue government support of Planned Parenthood but not their abortion efforts. Of course, that is insane. Last year he told “Meet the Press” that he would not rescind the Iran Nuclear Deal. He is mushy on the Israeli question and refused to agree to Jerusalem as Israel’s capitol. As to immigration, he told Newsweek last year that he wants amnesty: “I want to move ’em out, and we’re going to move ’em back in and let them be legal.” That is amnesty after a quick visit back home. Whatever Trump is, he is not a Conservative.

My big concern is that he seems to be without character. He obviously has an inferiority complex and has to always tell everyone that he has the most, the biggest, the richest, the nicest, the shiniest of whatever. To inflate himself, Donald boasted that his Las Vegas hotel is the “tallest, most beautiful building in town” when there are three taller buildings. He boasted that his jet is “bigger than Air Force One” when his plane is about 75 feet shorter. It seems he hasn’t had much of a relationship with truth.

For sure I am not a supporter of Hillary Clinton but it was totally crass for Trump to make an issue of her potty trip during the televised debate. Concerning her trip to the potty he said, “It was disgusting…. Where did she go?” It had nothing to do with political issues or the debate. Trump simply slugged Hillary below the belt. Some say it was only politics; however it only proved Trump is a thug and a rude dude.

Donald said Ted Cruz was a “total hypocrite.” And, “He’s a nasty guy. Nobody in Congress likes him.” Well, that could be a recommendation after all, Christ said in Luke 6:26 “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!” Cruz should wear that like a merit badge given to him by Donald the Rude.

Moreover, he refuses to deal with issues but majors on insulting people. I am not a fan of Rosie O’Donnell but a wise person does not say everything he thinks even if they are true. He was out of line to say Rosie was a “nice fat little Rosie,” or to say she is “crude, rude, obnoxious and dumb.” He has characterized women as “fat pigs,” “dogs,” “slobs” and “disgusting animals.” Rosie called him a “snake-oil salesman” but that is unfair–to snake-oil salesmen. Trump has a problem with women resulting in the moniker of Donald the Crude.

His problem with women is obvious since he has been married thrice. Trump has had big problems with his personal choices. He fathered a child out of wedlock with the woman who became his second wife with the birth taking place two months after the wedding. He was married the third time to a Slovenian model in 2005. While that history does not seem as bad as Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Clinton’s many foolish, filthy, feral flings, it is part of his résumé and must be part of the equation. It would be pathetic but not precedent-setting to have such a man in the Oval Office.

Trump uses foul language proving he is an uncouth, unthinking, uncaring, and uneducated person. A few years ago, even the most rude, crude, and lewd men did not use vulgarity in decent company especially in the presence of women. Even non-Christians should not use vulgarity.

My critics will accuse me of living in a religious bubble and that has been generally true for most of my adult life. However, that does not mean that I have had no exposure to the real world with all its corruption. After all, I have traveled worldwide, shopped, dealt with businessmen, was a life insurance salesman, served in the Indiana House of Representatives (where I reprimanded the cursing wife of a judge in front of him and their legislative friends), and appeared on hundreds of television and radio talk shows where I was called many vulgar words that I had no idea of their meaning! So my “bubble” has not meant total seclusion.

All my close friends and associates are very kind, honorable, honest, educated, cultured, urbane, sensitive people who eschew “gosh,” “heck,” “darn,” although we do lose control at times and utter “cool” or “neat.” Gasp! Maybe we say “cool” to appear cool in the eyes of others!

I am not suggesting that people who use dirty four letter words are living in the depths of depravity, although I am saying that such words are unnecessary, uncouth, uncivil and a poor example to others, especially the young.

Whatever we say should be unambiguous and not be embarrassing or an insult to others. The Bible teaches that our yea should be yea and our nay should be nay. Vulgar (even non-vulgar) curse words are proscribed and never acceptable by civil, cultured, or Christian people.

The Apostle Paul commanded us in Colossians 3:8 “Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communications out of your mouth.” He also said, “Evil communications corrupt good manners.” Swearing results in a coarsening of society.
Evidently Trump’s momma never washed out his mouth with soap as was commonly done years ago! That worked for thousands of us. Donald the Crude needs his mouth washed out with soap.

But it gets worse.

He referred to oral sex on “Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars” twisting a female star’s comment to appear she referred to oral sex when she did not. Recently, he used a Yiddish vulgarity to slam Hillary. And he insulted Megyn Kelly referring to her monthly period. He’s a lewd dude. So that makes him Donald the Lewd.

Speaking of Arianna Huffington he said, she is “unattractive both inside and out. I fully understand why her former husband left her for a man–he made a good decision.” Say what? Homosexuality is never justified. Was that an endorsement of same-sex “marriage”? Alas, the irrational, irrepressible, and irresponsible Trump is Donald a rude, crude, lewd dude.

When asked if he ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions he said, “I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.” That is an asinine, arrogant, and atrocious reply. Even a shallow Christian would not make such a statement. Christ said we should pray, “Forgive us our trespasses.” Why? Because everyone sins and needs forgiveness. Even Donald Trump, probably more than anyone knows. Moreover, it could be dangerous to put a narcissist like Trump in control of U.S. military machine. A man who thinks he is always right is a very dangerous person.

When Trump is challenged for his lack of decency, decorum, or discretion, he always seems to justify it by pointing out his high polling numbers among Evangelicals. Americans can support whomever they please; however, for a Christian to vote for Trump is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

Trump the rude, crude, lewd dude has proved the old adage that money and power can’t buy class or real friends but they may buy votes; however he won’t get my vote unless the alternative is a Socialist or a future resident of a federal prison.

American Ambassador Sodomized Before His Death! https://donboys.cstnews.com/american-ambassador-sodomized-before-his-death https://donboys.cstnews.com/american-ambassador-sodomized-before-his-death#comments Tue, 18 Sep 2012 18:03:19 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=15 On Sept. 12, Americans awakened to learn that Muslim fanatics had attacked the American Embassy in Cairo, Egypt and the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya killing American Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens and three other Americans. We now know that the ambassador was viciously sodomized before his death! It proved once again (although no informed, honest person needed it) that those Muslims are vile, vicious, and violent barbarians.

My first reaction (after thinking about how “peaceful” Islam is) was, “Where were the Marine guards? How many fanatics did they kill?” We will not hear about any brave Marine guards killed in the attack or the hundreds of fanatics they sent to Paradise because the Marines were not there. At the same time, White House Senior Advisor and Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett was on vacation at Martha’s Vineyard and had a full Secret Service detail of six agents for 24 hours a day!

Let me see if I understand: an unimportant advisor to Obama (whom no one knows) has full protection but U.S. representatives in a backward nation, known for violence, must depend on Muslim fanatics to protect them! And none dare call it treason, oh well, maybe incompetence. Whatever, heads should roll.

Some officials have blood on their hands. I refer to Obama and Hillary! Hillary should do as past (long past) cabinet members have done when they disgraced America or their administration: they fall on their sword by resigning and getting a job they can handle. I suggest that Hillary go back home and bake cookies and clean the house for Bill’s eventual return. As for Obama, Chicago needs many more community organizers.

It seems the Arab Spring has turned into the Arab Winter with some desperate days ahead for the whole Middle East. Maybe if Obama had not missed so many intelligence briefings (playing golf) he might have pulled our people out of the hot spots before the riots.

Was this because a California Jew made a film telling the truth about Mohammed and Islam; or was it an attack to celebrate the 9/11 anniversary? The Department of Justice is investigating the filmmaker! Yep, the loonies are in control. It seems no one ever asks, “Did he tell the truth about Mohammed and Islam?” And even if he did not, this is still America. Why should we apologize to barbarians because someone made a film, truthful or not? The film maker and his family are now is hiding from Muslim fanatics because Muslim leaders issued a fatwa giving directions and permission for the killing of the director, producer, and all the actors. In America, the land of the free and the home of the brave! Get used to it if shariah law takes hold in the U.S.

If the filmmaker should be investigated about his film work, what about all the distortions, dishonesty, and dissimulations of the main stream media? How about an investigation of them? After all, the Federal Communications Commission is supposed to have oversight and some control over the broadcast media. However, the media run amuck with lies and distortions.

I have been critical of some past “hot dog” responses by our government entities that displayed an excessive macho image; however, I am adamant that when Americans are killed and American property is attacked, the U.S. must respond in a swift, sure, and severe way.

Obama made a lame response, but then, the attackers are his soul brothers. They were doing Allah’s bidding! Obama should get on national television and yell at the Muslim world, “I’m mad as h… and I’m not going to take it anymore.” He would win the hearts of Americans and their votes.

But don’t count on it.
