The south has been full of them for a hundred years.

I grew up in West Virginia in a family of  multigenerational Yellow Dog Democrats. I was nourished from birth at my mother’s bosom with Democrat milk; however, it made me politically puny. Growing up near the coalfields, I remember the almost constant battles, even killings, as the head of the coal miners’ union John L. Lewis, President of the United Mine Workers of America from 1920 to 1960, led miners to resist orders from owners to go back to work. During World War II, he called a strike of coal miners that impeded the national economy and the war effort. But even then, the Democrats supported him.

Ironically, Lewis was a Republican (!) who publicly supported Herbert Hoover for President in 1928. When the Great Depression lashed the face of America, he quietly supported Franklin D. Roosevelt instead of giving Hoover a second term. Roosevelt won in 1932 and was elected four times to the Presidency, dying shortly after taking office in 1945. Roosevelt is given credit for ending the Great Depression, although his policies gave more authority to the government. He started America down the Road to Socialism (and serfdom) with his numerous government agencies that gave enormous power to the federal government. The depression was ended by our entrance into the war, not by Democrat policies.

Unions have grown as they had the support of Democrats who pitched themselves as the voice of the “working man.” While millions of workers increased their income with help from the unions, they also surrendered many of their rights and gave extraordinary power to union bosses.

Excessive power is not safe in any human hands, Democrat or Republican. Politicians of all parties must be rebuked, restrained, and regulated by laws.

While I believed then and now that a man has a right to join a union, he also has a right not to join a union without persecution or prosecution. Moreover, a man should not be forced to pay union dues if he chooses not to join.

Furthermore, no government entity has a right to tell a man how to run his business, although reasonable safety laws should be the norm. I remember the killings and constant threats of miners and mine owners. While I sympathized with mineworkers’ desire for reasonable pay and safety conditions, I thought the workers telling the owners (who started and financed the business) how to run their business was unfair.

I still do.

So when I was eighteen, I began to feel queasy about Democrat principles, policies, and people.  I became enamored with General Dwight Eisenhower when he ran for President in 1952 when I was a high school student. Eisenhower was basking in the success of the War in Europe, although few knew then and few know now of his astounding mistreatment of German civilians, not only German troops, after the end of the war. He had an abnormal hatred for all Germans.

When Eisenhower was elected in 1952, the North Koreans, the Chinese Communists, and the Soviet Union (though not officially a belligerent but supplied pilots and jets) were slaughtering our soldiers on the mountain slopes and valleys in North Korea. That’s when this Yellow Dog Democrat became a Republican. It was a crisis in our family and was accelerated many years later when I ran and was elected to the Indiana House of Representatives in 1976 as a “Reagan Republican.”

I became an Independent during the George Bush administration because the GOP left me standing in right field.

Even my father, a charter member of the Yellow Dog Democrats, voted for Reagan in 1980! Wow, maybe a leopard can change its spots, after all.

All that to say, Georgia Democrats who would never vote for Republicans during normal times will vote for a Republican in the vital Senate races in January. Honest Yellow Dog Democrats have had to massage their principles over the years as they try to put out of their minds that Democrats have butchered millions of unborn babies, often at taxpayers’ expense. They have pretended that same-sex “marriage” isn’t that big a deal while their conscience screams otherwise. They don’t wish to even think about the abnormality of boys pretending to be girls with the right to use female restrooms and locker rooms.

They know it is insane to think vast immigration (legal and illegal) will not fatally pack our public schools, bankrupt our hospitals, destroy our health care system, and take jobs from lifetime Americans. Open borders means they will be left with a shoeshine kit and instructions on how to say “please” and “thank you” in Spanish.

Or, maybe Arabic.

But they can resist their conscience and common sense no longer. Honest Democrats know if their radical, leftist crowd (not the traditional liberal Democrats of the last generation) gains control of the Senate via the Georgia runoff, as they already have the House and maybe the White House, it means the Socialists will destroy our nation. With control of the Senate, they will remove the filibuster, make Puerto Rico and D.C. states each with two additional Democrat Senators. Adding four more Senators, they will pack the Supreme Court, fight additional wars (they are known traditionally as starters of wars while Republicans are known for ending them), cuddle up to Muslims and vastly increase immigration, tear down the wall and have open borders, and recognize homosexuality as acceptable, even admirable and by no means abnormal.

Honest Democrats are concerned with the vast spending that has been going on since Reagan’s administration. They know, as do honest Republicans, that no nation can owe 25 trillion dollars and continue to spend money the way the last few administrations have done. Our economy would be far worse if President Trump had not insisted that NATO nations pay their fair share of Europe’s defense, demanded reasonable trade regulations, and ended the never-ending wars in the Middle East. They know nations have been destroyed by the stupid spending policies. They also know that continued spending of trillions of dollars will not permit us to collect golden eggs if we kill the goose that lays them.

Even a poorly informed person knows if a nation is destroyed by misspending and raids on our treasury, the nation will fall.
Yellow Dog Democrats may not admit that Democrat leaders are rabid revolutionaries and empty quacks, but we can count on them to be Americans and return Senators Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue to the U.S. Senate. I am not suggesting that all Democrats like Stacey Abrams will switch her vote since that would conflict with her pretend position as Georgia’s Governor.

In the unlikely event I am wrong and have too much confidence in Georgia Democrats, our vision of the future is a boot stamping on a human face—forever.

The leftist Salon website boldly, bluntly, and oozing bigotry declared, “White pride is always racism, always.” As usual, Salon was wrong but then they are used to that. Members of Congress, who should be responsible people, now use racism charges willy-nilly about their critics, especially when trying to defend unpatriotic, unworkable, and undesirable positions.

America is in deep trouble because of man’s fallen nature that produces hate, envy, greed, prejudice, fear, and jealousy. We are being ripped apart by ominous forces with an agenda to destroy our government. On the surface the issue is race; however, the deeper problem is power. Radical leftists in both major political parties rightly realize they had their power jerked from their sweaty hands by the 2016 election, and they are determined to take it back in 2020 even if it destroys our nation–and it might. Most minorities are too blind to see that they are being used like Lenin’s “useful idiots” by people who hate them.

Radical leftists are painting everyone who doesn’t swallow their leftist propaganda as racists! They are changing America into something I don’t like. I don’t like it when we can’t disagree about anything without being called racist. We need to return to when each race is proud of its heritage and culture without denigrating, despising, and destroying others. Frankly, I’m proud of being a white Christian and I will discuss, debate, and defend my right to defend America except for a few unnecessary wars and the racial discrimination that no longer exists.

Only a certified racist would disagree with that.

We have observed environmental fanatics, in collusion with the Federal government, going to outrageous efforts to preserve the snail darter, spotted owl, and the yellow belly sap sucker (ummmm, good when roasted); so is it unreasonable to preserve America as the land of the free and the home of the brave? Why is it commendable for Blacks, Hispanics, and others to loudly proclaim their ethnicity, but when a white person does so, everyone treats him like a bigot? Last night I watched a video of Martin Luther King, Jr. who declared, “I am proud to be black. Black is beautiful.

Someone needs to say it.” Why is it right for him to say it about being black but wrong for me to say the same thing about being white? I will expect an answer from my critics.

Non-thinkers/racists/liberals are trying to deflect, deny, and defend their racism by calling me a racist! That’s like a skunk accusing a rabbit of having bad breath! Not too swift but no one says racists/liberals are very sharp or honest people. They are fanatics totally committed to their radical agenda.

This is an issue that no one wants to deal with—the proverbial elephant sitting in a formal living room that everyone pretends isn’t there! While I don’t want to be identified with the white supremacist crowd or the clowns of the KKK (or with the clowns at the NAACP, ACLU, SPLC, etc.), I do think it is not only right but also desirable to be proud of our racial heritage–whatever that heritage is.

Of course, there are times when we are embarrassed with what some individual white people have done and are doing, but that would be true of every group. Does affirming that fact make me a racist? Overall, white people have contributed enormously to make the world a better place, even though many of them weren’t Christians but were influenced by Christianity.

The desire to keep America the way it is with our language, customs, religion, mores, etc., is admirable and nothing to be ashamed of. Why should we want a major, deliberate shift in our language, customs, religion, and racial mix? The desire for keeping America in its present state is a reason to be skeptical of mass immigration. Of course, there is no question regarding illegal immigration; although loony leftist liberals—mostly Democrats, but then I repeat myself—usually try to justify that criminal activity.

Racism is a club used by racists to beat non-minorities into submission and force them into self-hate—maybe into voting for Progressives.

No way I could have that much white guilt and hate myself that much.

Does pride in being white make me a white supremacist and if so, is a black person a black supremacist if he is proud of being black? If not, why not?

Being a white Christian does not reflect badly on those who don’t fit that description, just as my love and preference for my wife does no harm and is no criticism of those who disagree. Just because you think your wife is more beautiful than mine and your children and grandchildren are the brightest and most loveable does not make you a bigot. You are simply wrong, since mine are! (I have the test scores and photos to prove it!)

That is called being “normal.”

I am convinced that immigration should be halted for five years with few exceptions, and we should raise our standards requiring new citizens to sing in English all the verses of “America, the Beautiful” and whistle the National Anthem at the same time–with a mouthful of saltine crackers! Well, maybe not quite that extreme, but almost!

We should try to receive the highest level, most competent, most motivated immigrants possible.

If it is noble, kind, and compassionate to take in an unlimited number of foreigners, then let the other advanced nations receive those benefits for a few years. Furthermore, if immigrants are offended when I sing patriotic songs, fly the American flag, and pray to Christ, then tough luck. This is a big world so they can find somewhere else to live. There is plenty of empty space on the Arabian Desert!

If America continues as it is: permitting massive legal and illegal immigration we will eventually become a banana republic—without bananas and without a republic!

It is not racism to suggest that the ethnic ratio of America is being changed, and while some think the change is good, I don’t. Should all Whites walk around with head down, never looking anyone in the eye because we are white? Why must white people apologize for being white?

Is there an advantage for losing majority whiteness? Out of 193 nations of the world only eleven qualify as being “white.” Is that bad news? If so, why? No one is promoting adding Whites to the 54 black nations of Africa to produce diversity. Don’t the leftists want more diversity in black nations?

Just because I think being white is as good as being black, brown, etc., is that prima facia evidence that I hate other people? As usual, I will receive much heat but no light from my critics because they have no reasonable response.

Additionally, why make America into another Hispanic country? Aren’t the 21 nations that are Hispanic countries enough? There are far more nations populated by people of color than white nations. Why not have a mainly white nation here and there around the globe? Why do we need another Spanish-speaking or Islamic nation?

Moreover, those who emigrate here should learn to speak English! That is the least they can do. Teddy Roosevelt suggested that any immigrant who did not learn English within five years of his arrival should be shipped back home! Is that racist?

I have defended minority people and groups all my life. I have demanded that people be treated as people. If all people are treated with respect, kindness, thoughtfulness, and graciousness, then everyone benefits. I do not endorse or support the NAACP because they are racist in seeking the benefit of “colored” people. Why not seek the advancement of people? Must civil rights leaders be reminded that the “Jim Crow” days are long gone? If we seek the advancement of everyone, that will cover Blacks, Hispanics, Whites, Indians, etc.

All my adult life I have detested unfairness, discrimination, narrow mindedness, political correctness, and cowardice. I am ashamed to say that national and state politicians, plus those in academia and the media, plus many evangelical Christians are guilty of all the above.

I know this is dangerous but I am delighted to be counted with a group of people who have made and are making an astounding contribution to civilization—the white race. Gasp! I realize that it would be a lesser offense if I had been caught sexually molesting autistic three-year-old boys while attending a Nazi torch rally wearing a MAGA hat, but there it is.

I’m not ashamed, in fact, I’m proud to be white.

Usually three strikes and you’re out but Francis is still in—for now. But Catholics keep asking if the Pope is a Catholic. A Catholic writer suggested that while there are echoes of concern among Catholics, the Church has survived much worse including: Pope Stephen VI (896–897) who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, de-fingered, and thrown in the Tiber; Pope John XII (955–964) murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife; Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048) who “sold” the Papacy; Pope Urban VI (1378–1389) who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured; Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503) who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin; and Pope Clement VII (1523–1534) whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

Of course, many more problem popes could be mentioned but I will not do so. Moreover, I could produce a list of scandals among Fundamental Christian leaders, but I won’t.

Referring to those who rescued migrants on the Mediterranean Sea five years earlier, Francis said, “I thank the rescuers for embodying in our day the parable of the Good Samaritan, who stopped to save the life of the poor man beaten by bandits,” Francis said. “He didn’t ask where he was from, his reasons for travelling or his documents…he simply decided to care for him and save his life.” Francis called for treating migrants as Jesus had treated the poor and disadvantaged, but also stressed that migrants ought to be properly integrated into society.

Francis is a better theologian than that.

Christ told the parable to establish an individual Christian’s responsibility to be a compassionate, caring, and committed person in his or her daily interaction with others, especially the hurting, the innocent, and the poor. The parable has nothing to say about immigration, integration, or whether a nation should have open or closed borders. The Pope tried to take a teaching obviously for individuals and applied it to government action. Francis was like many Baptists who take a text then depart therefrom to say what they want to say under the color of biblical support.

That is mishandling, malfeasance, and a mistake and God warned about misusing His Word.

Two thousand years ago, the road from Jerusalem to Jericho was notorious for its danger and difficulty. I have travelled that same road many times and it is again dangerous today because it is part of the Palestinian Authority not controlled by Israel. In Christ’s day, anything could happen on that difficult road that made its way through rough desert terrain where dangerous robbers hid in caves waiting to attack unsuspecting travelers.

Tensions were particularly high in the early decades of the first century B.C. because Samaritans had desecrated the Jewish Temple with human bones during Passover. Josephus reports frequent violent conflicts between Jews and Samaritans throughout the first half of the first century. The Samaritans and Jews hated each other that went back hundreds of years. The hatred was so intense, Jews traveling to Galilee in the north would be expected to take a direct route north, but that would take them through Samaria. Instead, they travelled much out of their way to stay away from Samaria.

Christ made a point of going through Samaria in John 4 to contact, confront, and convert a rejected, immoral woman. It was a shocking thing to do. He did that because she was a woman and a Samaritan and had many needs. Christ was making a statement and giving us an example to love even the despised even going out of our way to do so.

In His parable, a traveler is robbed and beaten and left for dead on the road to Jericho. Two highly trained and highly principled men, a Levite and a priest, refused to help him but a hated Samaritan helped victim onto his beast and took him to an inn to be cared for at his expense! Christ made a “good guy” out of the “bad guy” as this individual of a social group all Jews disapprove of exhibited moral behavior superior to individuals of their own group.

Oh, my! A mixed breed and theologically messed up Samaritan more principled than a Jew! Impossible!

Continuing his mishandling and misapplying the parable, the pope promised his “solidarity and encouragement” with migrants, and called for all segments to “work out together the path of integration.” Pope Francis upbraided those who fail to open their doors to migrants, comparing them to the oppressed poor of the Old Testament who were “trampled on.”

Pope Francis tried to make the Good Samaritan parable an immigration problem but it had nothing to do with borders or separated children. It was simply an instructive parable to inform Christians how to react to others during their everyday lives. It has nothing to say about any government action or crossing borders.

Commenting on this parable, Calvin pointed out that people are not born merely for themselves, but rather “mankind is knit together with a holy knot … we must not live for ourselves, but for our neighbors.” Most of the early church fathers allegorized this parable, but Calvin was correct.

I seldom quote Martin Luther King, Jr. but he commented on this parable turning it into a political/social problem. He said, “One day we must come to see that the whole Jericho road must be transformed so that men and women will not be constantly beaten and robbed as they make their journey on life’s highway. True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar; it is not haphazard and superficial.”

With a caveat, I agree, but then King ran into tall weeds when he added, “It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring.” The implication is that government was to be blamed for making the traveler a victim and must step in and do whatever is necessary to see that no one is injured on that dangerous road again. Or, maybe mandate that the priest and Levite be required to come to the aid of injured men. At least mandate that beggars will no longer exist.

Maybe by government fiat!

When will Liberals learn that government cannot mandate love and compassion?

The meddlers are Evangelical leaders (not their followers) who presume to speak for those Christians foolish enough to follow them. Such leaders, as mentioned above, are guilty of shallow thinking, theology that is faulty, and are threatened with loss of income for those participating in resettling the “refugees.” I don’t doubt that many are sincere but they misuse Scripture to justify wrong, and it is always wrong to twist Scripture to accomplish even a noble result.

They twist the Scripture like a pretzel to make it fit their unreasonable, unconstitutional, and unbiblical demands about amnesty for dreamers. Such scriptural malfeasance is dumb, dangerous, and deadly! Religious leaders should not be talking about amnesty but accountability.

Dreamer-defender Evangelicals are misinterpreting, mishandling, and misusing the Bible to prove their case–unsuccessfully. All people who interpret ancient literature know that the first questions to ask are, “To whom was this written?”; “Who wrote it?”; “Under what circumstances was it written?”; and “When was it written?” Evangelicals are not asking those questions because to do so would defeat their dubious purpose–amnesty and open borders.

Recently, more than fifty Evangelicals signed the “Evangelical Leader Statement of Principles on Dreamers” which was the brainchild of Russell Moore, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commissions of the Southern Baptist Conventions (SBC). Moore is an SBC leader that many in the membership wish would just go away; however, wishing doesn’t work.

Those religious domestic dreamers, commenting on the illegal dreamers asserted that to send illegal aliens (who were brought here by parents) back home is a “moral issue.” They are right since it is immoral to be in a nation illegally. They tell us that a Christian nation would gladly accept the dreamers; however, those people know that only persons can be Christian, not a nation. A nation can show some Christian principles in their laws but only a person can repent and receive Christ.

A few months ago, other Evangelical leaders waltzed down the same primrose path demanding citizenship for dreamers. However, they were trying to drive a square peg into a round hole with a sledge hammer, but it simply won’t fit. The President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference Samuel Rodriquez opined, “It’s about our Christian faith. It’s about Matthew 25 and Leviticus 19. It’s about finding a way where we can reconcile Romans 13, ‘respecting the rule of law.’” No, like many Evangelicals, he has to misuse, mangle, and misinterpret the Scripture to make it mean what it was never meant to mean.

The Bible twisters almost always use Exodus 23:9 to support their cause of immigration, amnesty, and sanctuary cities; however they use a flawed hermeneutic to build their tenuous case. That verse commands, “Also thou shalt not oppress a stranger: for ye know the heart of a stranger, seeing ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.” However, that chapter is dealing with an individual’s obligation to be gracious–not national guidelines for treatment of immigrants. Even novice theologians know that. Of course, those religious leaders who use that verse know what they are doing, but they are desperately trying to give credibility to a very shaky principle.

Verse 3 proves my contention about this being a personal obligation not a national policy. That verse warns the ancient Jews (and us today) that “Neither shalt thou countenance (give approval) a poor man in his cause.” Moses was warning us about showing favor to a person because of his condition, whether rich or poor. We are not to be influenced by our emotions but by justice. The ancient maxim is, “Let justice be done, though the heavens should be dissolved.” I heard one of the great evangelists of the last generation say, “Do right though the stars fall from Heaven.”

Leviticus 19:33 is also used incorrectly: “And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.” Again, the preceding verses prove that God was giving instructions for personal conduct by warning them not to consume blood; not to get tattoos or pierce their flesh; not to prostitute their daughters; not to break the Sabbath days; not to be involved with sorcery and fortune telling, etc. Then He warned them not to vex a stranger living among them. In fact, Moses went on to say, “thou shalt love him as thyself.”

These verses do not apply to the immigration issue even slightly. Illegal aliens purposefully chose to break our laws, even arrogantly demanding entrance into our nation expecting to be cared for upon their arrival. They are not sojourners or strangers but scoundrels (with a few innocent women and children) and are being encouraged to break our laws by many left wing religious groups, even some Evangelicals.

The senior pastor of Mosaic Church in Memphis said, “We were once the same kind of refugees. Our families come from similar situations.” No, many of these modern “refugees” chose to break the law and many come unvetted, uninvited, and unwanted to America.

Left wing Christians tell us that Jesus was a refugee; however, they don’t seek to prove it since it can’t be done. As a baby, Christ was taken to Egypt for a few weeks until the death of Herod but He was a visitor not a refugee. It seems many religious leaders have no shame when they try to be politically correct even as they are theologically corrupt.

Jews were to be kind to strangers because it was the right thing to do and it would be good for the strangers and good for the nation. Many foreigners visiting Israel were impressed by their faith, freedom, and fairness, and converted to Judaism. New Testament Christians are commanded by Christ to treat others the way they want to be treated.

Left wingers, including many Evangelicals, are belching out anger, angst, and animus as they twist Scripture to support citizenship for dreamers.

My critics declare that I am unkind, unreasonable, and even unchristian for opposing amnesty for dreamers, open borders, and sanctuary cities; however, their charge is not based on solid reasoning or the Scripture. They skew the Scripture to make it fit their unreasonable, unconstitutional, and unbiblical demands.

The dreamer issue is proof that many religious leaders wear pantyhose, silk shorts, shirts with lace around the edge and sniff perfume from frilly handkerchiefs–and are wrongly called men of God! They need to develop strength, stamina, spine, and a scriptural orientation if they are to advise others about the immigration mess.

The followers of Christ in Antioch (Turkey) were first called Christians because they reminded people of Christ. In essence, they were “little Christs” not in the sense of any kind of divinity but in the way they lived, spoke, and treated others, especially the poor, elderly, and outcast.

This week President Trump embarrassed himself, his family, and the nation when he reportedly used a vulgar word in conversation with other politicians in the Oval Office. While his emphatic decision to correct the flawed immigration policy and his desire to “put America first” are sane positions, they do not justify his potty-mouth talk. Furthermore, his opponents are accusing him of racism because he suggested that new immigrants should come from Norway rather than Nigeria. No sane person can deny that people from Norway would more easily acclimate to the U.S. than the backward nations of Nigeria and Haiti. In our non-thinking society, I suppose my making that obviously true statement makes me a racist! Only Trump knows what motivated his controversial comments.

What Trump and almost all media personalities don’t understand is that vulgar words should never be used by civilized people. Christians should never speak that way and should confess it as sin if they do. A lame apology will not do. Trump claims to be a Christian but only he and God know for sure. The fact is the President used a foul word that is used by uncouth, unthinking, uncaring, and uneducated people. And it doesn’t seem to bother him. It bothers me.

Even non-Christians should not use that and other vulgar words. A few years ago, even the most low-life men did not use such words in decent company, especially in the presence of women. Now, even women are using such terms. Yes, the times they are a-changin’! For the worst.

Listen to teens and you will hear the S word and F word and many other vulgar words used repeatedly in a few sentences! Of course, they hear it at school, home, on recordings, and on television. Even some Christian preteens use cr*p, fa*t, frik*n’, etc., as if they are acceptable. Parents and pastors are failing, and some evangelical pastors are even known for their cursing! A famous megachurch pastor was characterized by The New York Times as having “the coolest style and foulest mouth of any preacher you’ve ever seen.”

My critics will accuse me of living in a religious bubble and that has been generally true for most of my adult life. However, that does not mean that I have no exposure to the real world with all its corruption. After all, I have traveled worldwide, shopped, dealt with businessmen, was a life insurance salesman, served in the Indiana House of Representatives (where I reprimanded the cursing wife of a judge in front of him and their legislative friends), and appeared on hundreds of television and radio talk shows where I was called many vulgar names that I did not even understand! So my “bubble” has not meant total seclusion.

All my close friends and associates are very kind, educated, cultured, refined, urbane, sensitive people who even eschew “gosh,” “heck,” “darn,” although we do lose control at times and utter “cool” or “neat.” Gasp! Maybe we say “cool” to appear cool in the eyes of others!

I am not suggesting that people who use four letter words are living in the depths of depravity, although I am saying that such words are unnecessary, untoward, uncouth, and a poor example to others, particularly the young. Especially coming from our President.

Christ told us to say what we mean when He said, “But let your communications be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.” That command could call into question the use of innocent words such as “hip,” “cool,” and “neat.” Someone will ask, “Then what are we expected to say?” Well, how about saying, “That is excellent,” or “I like that,” or the like.

Most people, who use the F word, don’t know what it stands for. Yes, they know what it means but not the etymology. While there are differences of opinion in the background of the word, couples guilty of fornication during colonial times were placed in public stocks with the F word written on the wood stocks. The word stood for “For Unnatural Carnal Knowledge” and the acronym was used because there was not space on the stocks to spell out their offense.

Others tell us it meant Fornication Under Consent of the King, whereby he gave permission for married people to participate in sex. Still others suggest that it stood for the king’s permission to diplomats traveling on long journeys so they could stop at any home and have sex with the eldest unmarried woman.

Obviously, whatever the actual historical derivation, the foundation was sex and it has usually been considered a vulgar word. As such, it should never be part of anyone’s speech, especially that of a Christian. Whatever we say should be unambiguous and not be embarrassing or an insult to others who believe their yea should be yea and their nay should be nay. Vulgar (ever non-vulgar) curse words are never acceptable by civilized, cultured, and Christian people.

The Apostle Paul commanded us in Colossians 3:8 “Put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communications out of your mouth.” He also said, “Evil communications corrupt good manners.” Swearing results in a coarsening of society. Are you listening, Mr. President?

After hearing dirty, four-letter words for a while, they nest in the mind and come rather easily to the lips. In your innocent days, you would have been horrified, but now, it is acceptable. After all, everyone you know has adjusted. First, you find the vileness appalling, then acceptable, then approving. Then comes anger when someone confronts you for your coarseness and crassness.

We were with some folks when something traumatic happened that momentarily shocked all of us, and a lady responded with a loud expletive. It seemed so natural. A second after we realized that we were not in any danger, she embarrassingly said she was sorry for her vulgarity. I said that it was probably because of watching movies and raunchy television shows. Her reply was interesting and telling: “Well, that happens when you are around people who talk that way.” But my response is, “Why would they be around people who express themselves by cursing?” I thought about sending her a bar of soap. That worked in my generation.

If Trump’s momma were alive, she could help make him acceptable to civil company by washing out his mouth with soap! My momma used Ivory. Worked for me–and thousands of others.

Leading Evangelicals are at it again–taking a legitimate issue and twisting the facts for an unreasonable, unacceptable, and unbiblical result. They are beating the drums for more refugees (a tragedy if only one terrorist is included) being admitted into the U.S. and shamelessly attacking the conscience of Christians to win their spurious argument. They conjure up helpless, hopeless, and hapless citizens from Muslim nations who must be settled in the U.S. But they are dishonest, very confused, or fanatical.

The drum beaters have a major job ahead of them because Christians have clearly spoken on this issue. A Pew survey conducted before the election reported that about two-thirds of white Evangelicals (67%) and mainline Protestants (65%) declare that they have no moral responsibility to accept Syrian refugees.

The World Relief people, Christianity Today, Sojourners, etc., are trying to lay heavy layers of guilt upon Christians who resist and criticize accepting refugees into America. An article in Christianity Today yelled, “Evangelical Experts Oppose Trump’s Plan to Ban Refugees.” Note that it was not lay members but experts who oppose a temporary ban on refugees. If the experts have any smarts, they will listen to their constituents. And what qualifies them as experts?

Ed Stetzer, Wheaton College professor and blogger, wrote, “First, we must continue to reject false facts.” Ed, there is no such thing as “false facts.” Building up steam like an old-time Pentecostal tent evangelist he said, “I’m pro-life because the unborn are made in the image of God, as are refugees. So, I’m pro-refugee because I am pro-life.” It is commendable that Ed is pro-life but that position does not require a principled person to be pro-refugee especially when some of the refuges will turn out to be terrorists.

But Ed disagrees. He wrote, “This is a safe program and one that evangelicals like me say, even if Trump will not, ‘Give [us] your … huddled masses, yearning to be free.’” His declaration that more refugees placed in America is a “safe program” cannot be verified.

The promoters of more refugees seem to assume that the U.S. is the only available nation for refugees; however, that dog won’t hunt. The Muslim nations should have first call on accepting refuges from Syria, Libya, Somalia, etc. Why move refugees away from their own geographical area to a nation that is totally alien to them in language, religion, customs, law, industry, etc.?

While it is dangerous to question motives of people, I would be slothful if I did not point out that many of these Evangelical pro-refugee non-profits get buckets of money from the government and other entities to plead the case of moving additional refugees to the U.S.

The U.S. government is shoveling buckets of cash into religious non-profit groups whose purpose is to deliver more immigrants into your neighborhood and provide amnesty to the gatecrashers already here. This is part of a one billion dollar annual refugee resettlement budget that is resulting in the ruin, rampage, and rape of our culture. Moreover, it will only accelerate because of more than 3 million Muslims having permanent residence and 250,000 being added each year! These facts suggest a major cultural shift has started in our nation.

Jim Wallis is the president of Sojourners (a leftwing religious/social outfit) and said that “Evangelicals finally realize that how we treat the stranger, these 11 million undocumented people, is how we treat Christ himself.” Jim must have been sleeping during his hermeneutics class in seminary because he did not get that from the Bible. Of course, Christians are to be kind, gracious, generous, and helpful; but that does not translate into being suckers, softies, and sentimentalists.

Wallis added that the leadership of the Evangelical Immigration Table (EIT), which includes the National Association of Evangelicals and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Convention of the Southern Baptist Convention, has “never been more united on an issue.” However, that is a little misleading. Of course, the feeble evangelical leaders are singing from the same page but the evangelical congregation is singing another song. The vast majority of evangelical church members want illegal immigrants to go home. A 2014 Pulse Opinion poll revealed that 78 percent of Evangelicals surveyed believed that the biblical command to “love the stranger” means “to treat the stranger humanely while applying the rule of law.”

If the social-minded Evangelicals want to help refugees then they should not expect American tax-payers to fund their altruism. They can dig into their church coffers and into individual retirement plans to accomplish that purpose. Furthermore, these religious groups are paid by the feds for each refugee they settle in your neighborhood! Follow the money.

Not only the feds but George Soros, the international money speculator, is sugar daddy to the EIT, a leftist group of Christian leaders that never saw a socialist scheme they didn’t like. Soros’ agenda, in addition to making money, is to promote every leftwing program especially transplanting Muslims into Europe and America. He is funding various religious non-profits to accomplish that task. National Review, reported that EIT receives a substantial portion of its funding from groups backed by George Soros. Keep following the money.

Evangelical leaders want to bring more and more Muslims to the U.S. and hand you the bill. Yet, experts tell us there may be 3 to 7 million Muslims in the U.S. and of those Muslims polled, nearly 20% agreed that use of violence to implement Sharia law is justified and 25% declared that it is acceptable to use violence to punish those who offend Islam in their portrayal of Mohammed!

Such people sound to me like terrorists not refugees.

The radical leftists believe that the U.S. should put every other nation first when making decisions that affect the U.S. Of course, they don’t expect any other nation to do such a stupid thing but America must never follow policies, practices, and programs that have our best interest as primary!

This does not mean that American people should not help other nations in times of disaster as we have always done but that U.S. political decisions should be made with the idea that we ask, “How will this impact our nation?” Then do what is best for the U.S.

It is insane to make decisions that are not beneficial to America. Would any of these non-thinkers suggest that a family should not make decisions based on what is best for them? One media darling suggested that it was racist to “put America first.” But then, everything seems to be racist at this time.

The Los Angeles Times pontificated, “And what would it mean if all countries are left free to pursue their narrow self interest?” Of course, all nations should be free to pursue their own interest! Have these people lost their minds or are they so saturated with leftist ideology that this is a normal reaction to common sense? A responsible public official will consider all the ramifications of a matter and then do what is best for America. It is incredible that this is even debatable.

America–first, last, and always! Liberals scream “bigotry”; but most sane, sensitive, and sincere Americans believe that we don’t have to apologize for putting our national interests first and wanting to keep America, America! It does not mean that we are by nature, superior to everyone else, nor does it mean that we wish anyone else ill. It simply means that we like what we have here, although we would like to remove the crime, hatred, perversion, abortion, etc.; but it would be abnormal if we did not want America to continue to be America.

No one suggests that we are perfect or close to it, but I prefer America to any place I have been. What is wrong with that? To keep it that way, we must always do what is best for America. If, in doing what’s best for us, it has a positive residual impact on other nations then good; but to suggest America should not always do what’s best in our own behalf is inane, incredible, and maybe insane.

We identify with America as we identify with our family. I don’t identify with your family but with mine. I don’t wish you ill will or failure. I just identify with my family. Because, well, because it is my family. As with a family, so with a nation. If that were not true, then there would be no nations. But then, maybe that’s exactly what the globalists want: one massive “family” in one big world with no boundaries where all cultures would be equal.

Immigration (legal and illegal) is changing America before our eyes every day and one indication is that New York City public schools have students that speak 176 different languages! Moreover, the Nashville schools have students speaking 120 different languages! Is it best for America to have over a hundred different languages? Is it not in the best interest of America to have all immigrants learn our language?

Why expect school teachers to teach non-English students? Why not expect all immigrants to learn English? Why have a choice of Spanish or English? Why is it good for our nation to water down our culture?

Furthermore, as of last April 15, America’s public schools are a snapshot of a changing America because for the first time in America’s history, a majority of those in public schools are students of color! I see a trend here! American is quickly getting less white! A partial explanation is that maybe more white students are going to non-public schools. Is it in our best interest to have a change in our national complexion? If so, why?

It is natural to resist change as one gets older. He or she becomes nostalgic about the past. In reality, things were usually not as bad or as good as we imagine them. Even with that understanding, I maintain that America is only a shadow of its former self and my grandchildren will live and die without knowing the nation that once was.

My grandchildren will never know the America I knew as a boy in a small West Virginia town and they are poorer because of that. They have never known a time when all national decisions were made with America’s interest being first.

I have disagreed with many things Trump has said but not this time. In every negotiation, discussion, treaty, legislation, etc., it is treason not to put America first.

President-elect Trump is on the spot by promising to handle the immigration problem. We will see if he has the character and determination to lead the Congress to keep his promise. He sure has a mandate to get the job done.

As the population expands, the cost of services must expand. More police, firefighters, health inspectors, schools, and teachers. If immigrants don’t pay their share, then legitimate taxpayers must pay the bill. Of course, adding new non-producing families does not always add cost to all government programs such as national defense, scientific research, spending on veterans, etc. Such costs are not impacted by any number of illegal immigrants; however, that would not be the case for fire and police protection and school teachers, and road repair.

If a citizen receives a benefit which he or she has not financed through taxes then someone else has had to pay that share. I caused a stir on national television when I stated, “If I get money I did not earn then someone earned money they did not receive. That’s thievery.” I added fuel to the fire by adding, “This nation of producers has become a nation of parasites.” Amazingly, the whole crowd stood to their feet and cheered! (And it wasn’t a Christian or conservative or political crowd.) Most people expect to pay their own way and consider it poor character if they don’t.

A few years ago, I was told by a post office official in San Luis, Arizona that their office has 11,200 post office boxes in a town of about 3,000 people because people living across the border in Mexico use them as a permanent American address to collect public benefits. Since people migrating from Middle East nations, Mexico, and South America often have lower skills, they are more likely to request public assistance, gorge the public school system, overwhelm the health care industry, and spike the crime reports. Bigotry? Not at all. Just the facts. Did you know that 15% of California students are illegal aliens and they cost California citizens over 11 billion dollars per year for health, education, and incarceration!

Moreover, 25% of inmates in federal prisons are criminal aliens and are not in prison for being gatecrashers but for committing crimes in the U.S.! Furthermore, about 300,000 of all state and local prisoners are illegal aliens! You are funding them! Additionally, 75% of those on the most wanted list in L.A. are illegals. The following stats from the Foreign National Crime Information Center should sober any pro-immigration zealot:

• 83% of warrants for murder in Phoenix are for illegal aliens.
• 75% of those on the most wanted list in Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Albuquerque are illegal aliens.
• 24.9% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals.
• 40.1% of all inmates in Arizona detention centers are Mexican nationals.
• 48.2% of all inmates in New Mexico detention centers are Mexican nationals.
• According to the Government Accountability Office, 25% of prisoners in Federal prisons are illegal aliens who have been arrested an average of seven times!
• 53% plus of all investigated burglaries reported in California, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona and Texas are perpetrated by illegal aliens.
• 50% plus of all gang members in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.
• 71% plus of all apprehended cars stolen in 2005 in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and California were stolen by Illegal aliens or “transport coyotes.”
• 47% of cited/stopped drivers in California have no license, no insurance, and no registration for the vehicle and 92% of that 47% are illegal aliens.
• 63% of cited/stopped drivers in Arizona have no license, no insurance, and no registration for the vehicle and 97% of that 63% are illegal aliens.
• 66% of cited/stopped drivers in New Mexico have no license, no insurance, and no registration for the vehicle and 98% of that 66% are illegal aliens.

Furthermore, information in the FBI’s 79-page National Gang Report published in 2013, proves to any reasonable person that illegal immigrants are a major threat to all Americans especially, but not exclusively, along the southern border.

Foxnews.com reported that federal statistics reveal, “The estimated 11.7 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. account for 13.6 percent of all offenders sentenced for crimes committed in the U.S. Twelve percent of murder sentences, 20 percent of kidnapping sentences and 16 percent of drug trafficking sentences are meted out to illegal immigrants.” Those numbers even shock me!

But it gets worse! Foxnews.com continued to report that there are about 2.1 million “legal or illegal immigrants with criminal convictions living free or behind bars in the U.S., according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Secure Communities office! Each year, about 900,000 legal and illegal immigrants are arrested, and 700,000 are released from jail, prison, or probation. ICE estimates that there are more than 1.2 million criminal aliens at large in the U.S.” Sleep well tonight, friends.

According to the FBI, criminal gangs are wreaking havoc in the U.S., with 65 jurisdictions nationwide reporting gang-related offenses committed with firearms account for at least 95 percent of crime in those areas. Gangs are responsible for an average of 48 percent of violent crime in most jurisdictions and up to 90 percent in several others, according to National Gang Intelligence Center analysis.

The report further documented gangs in Southwestern border regions consisting of up to 80 percent illegal aliens were committing a multitude of crimes in America, “including drug-related crimes, weapons trafficking, alien smuggling, human trafficking, prostitution, extortion, robbery, auto theft, assault, homicide, racketeering, and money laundering.”

U. S. gangs consist of several types of groups, including street gangs, prison gangs, motorcycle gangs, and ethnic and organized crime gangs. Approximately 1.4 million people were part of gangs as of 2011, and more than 33,000 gangs were active in the United States.

Furthermore, criminal street gangs—mostly comprised of illegal immigrants—are responsible for the majority of violent crimes in the United States and are the primary distributors of most illicit drugs.

Each year about 500,000 illegal aliens cross into the U.S. with many carrying drugs, disease, and destructive plans for our nation. In recent months, Border Patrol agents have contracted various diseases, lice, and scabies. The Washington Post reported that Virginia State health authorities announced that “tuberculosis continues to rise” and that “immigration is fueling the spread.”

The Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons reported, “Many illegal aliens harbor fatal diseases that American medicine fought and vanquished long ago, such as drug-resistant tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy, plague, polio, dengue, and Chagas disease.” A good example of accelerating disease is that whooping cough is up 1,300% in just two years!

Immigration officials are criminally reckless if they don’t inquire about a person’s health, and it is criminal to permit people to enter the U.S. if they are carriers of plague, tuberculosis, pneumonia, Ebola, Zika, AIDS, typhoid, and other contagious diseases. Of course, no one knows what uncaught, unvetted, and unknown immigrants are bringing in!

Many illegals want to pick tomatoes; however if tomato pickers can slip in, so can terrorists. Yet, we have major politicians who are so unconcerned they want to give amnesty to the illegal gate-crashers already here!

This is incredible, indefensible, and insane yet our politicians and fuzzy Christian leaders seem to think it is acceptable and admirable instead of abhorrent and abominable. Furthermore, some illegal aliens kill about 10,000 Americans each year–when they are not “picking tomatoes.”

Even in normal times, it is insane for a nation to have unrestricted immigration, and during wars, national pestilences, or terror it is doubly insane to have porous borders! That’s about where the U.S. is today.

Open border fanatics tell us, “The U.S. had open borders from its inception until 1882. It makes one wonder what the Founding Fathers would think of us today!” However, that is not the whole story because in America’s early days, the western frontier was Ohio! There was much of America unexplored, uninhabited, and undeveloped. We needed farmers, carpenters, preachers, teachers, smiths, merchants, salesmen, trappers, and cobblers who came and fell in love with their new nation, learned English, and melted into the pot. But the pot is not melting today. It is now a salad bowl where many different peoples do their own thing and have no interest in the general welfare.

American citizens will hold elected officials responsible for terrorism resulting from their inaction, ineptitude, or incompetence relating to border security. As the numbers grow, the crimes accelerate, and the costs escalate, there will be devastating results. America’s seething volcano is going to erupt!

Should U.S. taxpayers be expected to finance illegal immigrants? I can defend the position that we should not even finance legal immigrants. “Thanks” to Republicans and Democrats with amnesty their ignoble goal, immigrants will get on the welfare rolls, and most will stay there. Have the loonies taken over the asylum? There are non-thinkers, even “evangelical” Christians, who defend illegal aliens getting all kinds of welfare benefits! Such gullible people would qualify as Lenin’s “useful idiots.”

It is time for some hard decisions: Is it reasonable to know who is entering our nation? Is there not a limit as to the number who may come? Shouldn’t we have some requirements as to education and ability so they can contribute to America? Is it unreasonable to expect people to be in good health and be free of contagious diseases? Should we not expect arrivals to have some kind of retirement plan or funds to sustain them? Should arrivals be expected to learn our language and accept our culture? Is it unreasonable to demand that immigrants obey our laws? Is it reasonable to expect hospitals to treat people without cost even if it means bankruptcy for the hospitals?

The basic premise is that every nation has an obligation to have distinct borders and defend those borders. However, the globalists have always demanded open borders in every nation! The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry expressed the globalist position when he told graduates at Northeastern University in Boston on May 6, 2016 that they ought to realize a “borderless” world was something they couldn’t stop, and should instead accept. That would mean that nations would cease to exist and people could go wherever they wanted without any restrictions.

I ask those who want unlimited immigration if they will invite anyone and everyone to come to America? Are there not some limits? If so, then what are the limits? It is almost too late to implement policies to save America from being totally destroyed by immigrants with alien customs, alien skills, alien language, and an alien religion.

With the knowledge of the massive catastrophic results there are still major political, religious, academic, and other leaders demanding that all those who crashed our gates should be given legal status! Amnesty for all! That is insane.
The illegal alien invasion of America has resulted in a dangerous, dark, decaying, and dying nation; and I see a catastrophic future if there is not a return to common sense enforcement of immigration laws. And there is no hope for sure if we refuse to restrict immigration and we grant amnesty to lawbreakers already here.

The bleeding at the borders must be stopped while other immigration matters are decided. If we don’t stop the bleeding, more Americans will bleed.
