Sardis was an ancient city in modern Turkey, capital of Lydia and the first city in that part of the world. The city was fabulous, famous, and flourishing, and the church is said to be the result of the Apostle John’s ministry. Christ said that he knew their works; they had a good reputation but it was empty and dead. The Sardis church continued to function as it had since its illustrious beginning but it had long been dead, not unlike most churches today.

Christ warned the church to repent or He would remove them. They didn’t and He did. The church has been long gone and the city is a wasteland today. That is what is going on in many mainline denominations, especially the Episcopal denomination of which the Washington National Cathedral is a member.

The Episcopal denomination’s website does not reveal the Gospel of Christ but it does endorse the Interfaith Rainforest Initiative, LGBT propaganda, liberation theology, social justice, earth worship, and racial reconciliation! Such radical views are reflected in the Episcopal News Service report that the R. E. Lee Memorial Church in Lexington, Virginia, where Robert E. Lee once served as senior warden will no longer honor the Confederate general in its name. Church officials admitted that the decision has been costly as members, weary of the racial politics, have fled the church.

But, it gets worse at Christ Church of Alexandria, Virginia where George Washington worshipped. He has been repudiated by the removal of a plaque dedicated to his memory. Whistleblower magazine reported that Washington purchased pew number five when the church began in 1773 but it seems the church and the denomination have moved on from Washington’s time. They don’t have time for the old fashioned Gospel of Christ that changes men and determines destiny but plenty of time for Mother Earth, LGBT, liberation theology, racial politics, and other left wing nonsense.

Proving how far left the church is, according to the Whistleblower, one of the four female pastors, former actress Ann Gillespie, closed a sermon with a perverse version of the Apostle’s Creed: “I believe in God, our Mother Bear, source of all being,” and refers to the Virgin Mary as “the bad-a** womanist liberation theologian, Mary.” Ann should have stayed in the movie business. I don’t know about her acting ability but she has a Hollywood mouth and mind.

The recent action by the Episcopal denomination and the National Cathedral was totally apostate and totally unnecessary, as if they have a death wish. The church decided to adopt neutral pronouns for God which is defiant, dangerous, and dumb. God is vigilant about His name. When an Old Testament copyist was copying the Scripture, he would sit in full Jewish dress after washing his body carefully. Then he would carefully wipe his pen before writing the word God and take another bath before writing Jehovah. Even if his king addressed him, he would not respond because of his sacred work.

Obviously, the Episcopalians do not believe that God’s name is important, let alone sacred. That may be one of the most dangerous and wicked things the church and denomination have done.

The second decision of the church was to embrace transgenderism which is one of the most outrageous decisions man has made since the beginning of time. A man can call himself a woman but nothing has changed except in his twisted mind. All he has to do is look down and see that he is still a he. Even if he finds a quack surgeon to chop off some body parts, he is still a man as is evidenced by every gene in his body.

As is demonstrated by Bruce Jenner, no amount of surgery or cosmetics can conceal the broad shoulders, large knuckles, deep voice, and prominent Adam’s apple. Bruce was a handsome man but a homely woman. He and other confused people are simply adults playing a pretend game–a game that is deadly. However, from the beginning of his hallucinations, the media has been in a rush to gush over his/her bravery and courage which says as much about them as it does him/her.

Furthermore, all those who teach children that they can be a different gender by declaring it are doing irreparable harm to those children. I believe in a few years, when society has a seizure of common sense, such people will be charged with child abuse. That would include religious people who, of all people, should know better than to be carried about by every fad that comes down the pike. Those silly but dangerous fads always seem to come from Progressiveville.

The third disastrous decision made by the church is their demand for open borders! Most people would think that a church would demand obedience to law and order rather than dissidence, disobedience and disorder. A nation without borders is not a nation, but then that’s what the leftists want–a nation with no restraints, no rules, no regulations.

Open border fanatics tell us that the U.S. had open borders from its inception until 1882. However, that is not the whole story because in America’s early days, the western frontier was Ohio! Much of America was unexplored, uninhabited, and undeveloped. We needed farmers, carpenters, preachers, teachers, smiths, merchants, salesmen, trappers, and cobblers who came and fell in love with their new nation, learned English, and melted into the pot. But the pot is not melting today. It is now a salad bowl where many different peoples do their own thing and have no interest in the general welfare. They don’t melt but they do sit, sour, and soak up the freebies.

American citizens will hold elected officials responsible for terrorism resulting from their inaction, ineptitude, or incompetence relating to border security. As the numbers grow, the crimes accelerate, and the costs escalate with devastating results.

The horrendous costs will be laid at the feet of cowardly politicians and uninformed or misinformed religious leaders who think they are being broadminded as they demand open borders and amnesty for all.

Since the Episcopal Churches have gone so far off the rails, it is logical that they often do ridiculous things that bring them into even more disrepute. They boast about hosting a “blessing of the animals” and I have looked long and hard and can find no scriptural basis for that silly activity. There is no proof that dogs and animals go to Heaven but it seems some churches are going to the dogs.

Obviously, the Episcopal denomination is dead and should be buried. God will take care of that.

The Mexican Republic wants to solve one of its major problems by sending its poorest of the poor to the U.S. to work plus those poor (who work) usually send money back to Mexico. Mexico can’t lose, but you can.

Mexican politicians have an affinity toward open borders that permits its citizens to work and travel wherever they desire. Wonder how many Canadians and Americans would rush to Mexico to live and work? Mexican officials and their lackeys are playing the part of the hypocrite regarding immigration. They don’t practice what they preach!

Mexico requires people who emigrate to their country to have useful skills and a pension plan from their nation of origin! They also forcefully impose border control at their southern border while they promote illegal crossing into the U.S. at their northern border! If America enforced similar laws, the Mexican authorities would scream like a stuck pig! In the event you want to know, hypocrite in Spanish is el hipocritea.

Compare a person who is caught slipping into Mexico with one doing so in America. For sure, Mexico would not give such a person a survival pack and point him in a northerly direction? Gatecrashers into Mexico get years in a stinking prison and gain freedom only after enormous bribes to the proper officials.

It is reckless and false to suggest that an enormous invasion of under educated, low-skilled, often hostile gatecrashers will not have a long term, adverse effect on America. America is being transformed as you slumber and sleep, and if you don’t mind that and your bleating heart demands that we open our borders to permit anyone access, then so be it. However, you will have no right to weep, whimper, and whine when you can’t get a job or when your taxes are doubled, and when your kids can’t be educated in an overcrowded public school. So get accustomed to seeing signs in Spanish everywhere, and workers who are supposed to serve you don’t speak clear English.

It is true that people are suffering all over the world, and many of the gatecrashers only want a better life; however, that is true but does that mean that America should be the social welfare system for the world, as well as the world’s policeman? After all, there is a limit to what one country can do and most Americans don’t know that we have been taking in over half of the immigrants of the world! Here’s a shattering thought: If immigration is good for America, then it would be good for other countries, so let’s spread it around so that all 196 countries can benefit! We should not be selfish so let every nation do its part and reap the benefits!

I recommend that U.S. officials make a rigorous attempt to detain all illegal immigrants; imprison those who are known criminals and expel all others who are simply gatecrashers? If we apprehended only one terrorist in the group, it would be advantageous. Remember that he (or she) could be planning to drop a bomb over your city or poison your water supply! I am asked, how could we remove all of them; however, we don’t need to get of all of them. We can get rid of most of them.

All Mexican and Central American illegals could be loaded in a ship off the coast of California, sail to the Mexican Coast, and dump them for Mexican officials to deal with. We could then give each of the remaining illegal aliens a one way ticket to the country of their origin or the desert if their choice.

I suggest that we:

*Pull up the ladder and permit no more immigration for at least five years with only a few exceptions.

*Close all the holes in our northern and southern borders even using the military, drones, helicopters, and any new technology to get the job done.

*Assess huge penalties to any business that hires an illegal alien. Double the fine for a second offense. Jail for the third. That won’t make me popular with the Chamber of Commerce but then I’m not in a popularity contest.

*Realize that people who are not U.S. citizens do not have the same rights that Americans have; therefore expel all who are here illegally. As a precaution, fingerprint and photograph them and imprison them if they return.

*We should fingerprint and photograph all emigrants who come to America from any nation, but especially Islamic nations, and fine them heavily if they overstay their visas. Then, send them back to the desert.

*Repudiate multiculturalism (the outrageous suggestion that all religions and cultures have equal value) as anti-American and anti-common sense. Furthermore, we will no longer feel guilty for being Americans.

*Put America first in every way since it is national suicide to do otherwise.

Good people can honestly disagree about wars in the Middle East but when it comes to protecting America’s borders, it is clear: If U. S. politicians don’t protect America from cultural suicide and terrorist activities, what good will a tax cut and deficit reduction do us? If President Trump fails to keep this promise then his legacy will be a president who failed to keep his oath to uphold the Constitution.

We don’t need any nation’s uneducated, unskilled, and unmotivated people. It is not selfish, but sane and sensible to permit only those who will contribute to our nation.

Each year about 500,000 illegal aliens cross into the U.S. with many carrying drugs, disease, and destructive plans for our nation. In recent months, Border Patrol agents have contracted various diseases, lice, and scabies. The Washington Post reported that Virginia State health authorities announced that “tuberculosis continues to rise” and that “immigration is fueling the spread.”

The Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons reported, “Many illegal aliens harbor fatal diseases that American medicine fought and vanquished long ago, such as drug-resistant tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy, plague, polio, dengue, and Chagas disease.” A good example of accelerating disease is that whooping cough is up 1,300% in just two years!

Immigration officials are criminally reckless if they don’t inquire about a person’s health, and it is criminal to permit people to enter the U.S. if they are carriers of plague, tuberculosis, pneumonia, Ebola, Zika, AIDS, typhoid, and other contagious diseases. Of course, no one knows what uncaught, unvetted, and unknown immigrants are bringing in!

Many illegals want to pick tomatoes; however if tomato pickers can slip in, so can terrorists. Yet, we have major politicians who are so unconcerned they want to give amnesty to the illegal gate-crashers already here!

This is incredible, indefensible, and insane yet our politicians and fuzzy Christian leaders seem to think it is acceptable and admirable instead of abhorrent and abominable. Furthermore, some illegal aliens kill about 10,000 Americans each year–when they are not “picking tomatoes.”

Should U.S. taxpayers be expected to finance illegal immigrants? I can defend the position that we should not even finance legal immigrants. “Thanks” to Republicans and Democrats with amnesty their ignoble goal, immigrants will get on the welfare rolls, and most will stay there. Have the loonies taken over the asylum? There are non-thinkers, even “evangelical” Christians, who defend illegal aliens getting all kinds of welfare benefits! Such gullible people would qualify as Lenin’s “useful idiots.”

It is time for some hard decisions: Is it reasonable to know who is entering our nation? Is there not a limit as to the number who may come? Shouldn’t we have some requirements as to education and ability so they can contribute to America? Is it unreasonable to expect people to be in good health and be free of contagious diseases? Should we not expect arrivals to have some kind of retirement plan or funds to sustain them? Should arrivals be expected to learn our language and accept our culture? Is it unreasonable to demand that immigrants obey our laws? Is it reasonable to expect hospitals to treat people without cost even if it means bankruptcy for the hospitals?

The basic premise is that every nation has an obligation to have distinct borders and defend those borders. However, the globalists have always demanded open borders in every nation! The U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry expressed the globalist position when he told graduates at Northeastern University in Boston on May 6, 2016 that they ought to realize a “borderless” world was something they couldn’t stop, and should instead accept. That would mean that nations would cease to exist and people could go wherever they wanted without any restrictions.

I ask those who want unlimited immigration if they will invite anyone and everyone to come to America? Are there not some limits? If so, then what are the limits? It is almost too late to implement policies to save America from being totally destroyed by immigrants with alien customs, alien skills, alien language, and an alien religion.

With the knowledge of the massive catastrophic results there are still major political, religious, academic, and other leaders demanding that all those who crashed our gates should be given legal status! Amnesty for all! That is insane.
The illegal alien invasion of America has resulted in a dangerous, dark, decaying, and dying nation; and I see a catastrophic future if there is not a return to common sense enforcement of immigration laws. And there is no hope for sure if we refuse to restrict immigration and we grant amnesty to lawbreakers already here.

The bleeding at the borders must be stopped while other immigration matters are decided. If we don’t stop the bleeding, more Americans will bleed.

There are about 7 million Muslims in the U.S. and 300,000 of them prefer Sharia law and 25% declare that it is acceptable to use violence to punish those who offend Islam if they try to portray the prophet Mohammed! And Evangelical leaders want to bring even more to the U.S. and are hand you the bill.

Among other requests, the Evangelical Immigration Table (EIT) wants Congress to not exclude any specific religious group or nationality from the massive resettlement program. In recent years the group has brought in about 2,000 Syrians to the U.S. and 97% are Muslim. Obama has already brought over 100,000 “refugees” since 2012. Note that few insist that maybe Christians should be at the top of the list.

Let me see if I understand this situation: Some American Evangelical leaders are pressuring Congress to give amnesty to illegal aliens already here and to bring in even more! These are people who know nothing about democracy, have no concept of freedom, speak a foreign language, worship a pagan god, are so backward they have bathed in a river and peed into a hole in the floor all their lives, and will immediately become a financial leach on the face of America! Now, I think it is wonderful that they want to upgrade their living standards and culture (as well as their sanitary practices); however, it doesn’t seem wise to change the face of America to accomplish that. Future Americans will rise up and call these Evangelical leaders cowards and traitors.

Moreover, why are Evangelicals receiving barrels of money from the federal government anyway? If evangelical leaders are so concerned about “refugees” then let them pass the collection plate the way our church does when people have a need. Of course we should help people but don’t expect taxpayers to pay the bill. May I suggest that there is no constitutional provision for such program? But then, there is no constitutional provision for abortion, same-sex “marriage,” farm subsidies, student loans, etc., but that doesn’t bother our esteemed officials, even some “conservatives.”

Europe is lost, gone, hopeless, destroyed, wrecked, smashed and America is following the exact path. Only a fool, fanatic, or faker says otherwise.

Note that these Evangelical leaders are not responding to their constituency because their rank and file has already spoken. A Pew Research Poll revealed that white Evangelical Christians were opposed to the Syrian refugee resettlement program by a two to one margin but the leaders plow on since they know what’s best! After all, what do the hoi polloi know about such matters?

Mike Philips senior pastor of Immanuel Fellowship Church in Frisco, Colorado declared that he and his liberal friends are “bothered by the rhetoric” from critics. I suppose he means those of us who suggest that we can’t afford to lose more jobs, lowering of wages, lack of vetting, and the confusing, compromising, and corrupting of our culture. Mike declared, “I realize that some are genuinely concerned about the vetting process. Personally, I’ve looked at it; I think it’s a very tight, very good process.” No, he is wrong as the Director of the FBI reported that they could not clear every immigrant.

Galen Carey works for the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE) and declared how safe the resettlement program is. Well, then I suppose he would be the first to invite the “refugees” to move into his neighborhood since we have an “obligation” to accept these people into the very crowded “life raft.” The senior pastor of Mosaic Church in Memphis said, “We were once the same kind of refugees. Our families come from similar situations.” No, many of these modern “refugees” chose to break the law and come unvetted, uninvited, and unwanted to America.

I remind these “do gooders” (as opposed to those who do good) that the Bible often speaks of borders, borders that should be respected. All the major cities in the Ancient Middle East had massive walls, not to keep people in but to keep gatecrashers from coming in uninvited.

These compromising Evangelical leaders are trying to drive a square peg into a round hole with a sledge hammer, but it simply won’t fit. The President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, Samuel Rodriquez (an incredible preacher) opined, “It’s about our Christian faith. It’s about Matthew 25 and Leviticus 19. It’s about finding a way where we can reconcile Romans 13, ‘respecting the rule of law.’” No, Sam, like many Evangelicals, has to twist the Scripture like a pretzel to make it mean what it was never meant to mean.

Matthew 25 deals with the judgment of the Nations and in verse 35 Christ said, “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in.” No, that has no relevancy to the immigration issue. In that text, Christ is judging the nations as to their treatment of the Jews during the Great Tribulation. I ask Evangelical leaders who use this verse out of context: “Have you no shame?”

Open border and amnesty people should read and understand Act. 27:26: “And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.” That verse teaches that while all mankind are of the same blood, i.e., the human race, there are some bounds of their habitation.

Since all men have the same source, there is no valid reason to think one is better than another although each should be loyal to and proud of his roots. The Apostle Paul knew that the Athenians had a foolish notion that they were self-produced, and were the aboriginals of mankind. They believed that the first men sprung up in Attica, like radishes! Well, that’s about what evolutionists believe when they say life rose from a warm, little pond. Science has come a long way baby.

All the pro-amnesty preachers use the same verses to support their unsupportable position. Some perspective follows that soft Evangelicals do not provide.

God respects borders–after all, He set them! Border is used 129 times in the Bible and borders used 49 times. Only a few times does the word refer to the border of a piece of clothing, the rest have to do with tribal or national boundaries. Border is first used in Gen. 10:19 when He set the borders of the Canaanites. From scriptural evidence, God does not believe in open borders. He set firm borders as recorded in Deut. 32:8: “When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.” This refers to Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth and the areas of the world their posterity would populate and control.

I remind you that God scattered and separated the people into nations and languages at the Tower of Babel where they were trying to build a tower to reach Heaven. Some say they were building a tower so that they would have a refuge if another global flood happened. It was probably a plan to thwart God’s will since He had told them to scatter across the face of the earth and multiply. They wanted to make a name for themselves and stay where they were. This is the first attempt to produce a global society. Progressives are still at it today telling us that nationalism is narrow and bigoted.

Amnesty and open borders are anti-biblical, totally contrary to God’s plan for man’s survival. Europe has had open borders for many years. The citizens of the 28-country European Union may travel freely among any of the member states except Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania, and the United Kingdom that require travelers from other EU states to present a passport or ID card at the border.

You can see the folly of open borders in the daily newspapers as hundreds of thousands of migrants have been trampling through Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungry, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and into Germany. Now that it is too late, some European nations are reinstating border controls; however, the horse is galloping down the road.

It’s past time for Congress to stop the invasion of aliens who are transforming our nation as you read this. Stop funding religious leftwing groups and let them fund their own give-away programs.

And a word of unsolicited advice to ordinary church members: flee those churches that are pro- amnesty, pro-open borders, and pro-sanctuary cities as if your hair is on fire.

Because it will be some day.
