Even though the ‘moderate’ makes up the vast majority within Muslim communities, it is fear of the fundamentalist that seals the deal for them.

I use the example of a peaceful community faced with the creeping influence of a violent street gang looking to expand their territory. Speak out against the gang and its atrocities, and you or your family is targeted. It is no different for Muslims.

A ‘moderate’ has limited choices; stay silent and loathe the actions of the Fundamentalists, speak out and die, or emigrate to a new country and then watch the Fundamentalists follow with their ideology and violence.
