Aristotle said that “nature” gave stronger bodies and less understanding to those born to serve while free men have less physical force and greater understanding. He also said that “just as some are by nature free, so there are by nature slaves, and for these latter the condition of slavery is both beneficial and just.” Aristotle was wrong! Slavery can never be justified.

Aristotle’s teacher, Plato also supported slavery and did not see any injustice in the practice as it was, because of the slaves’ “inherent inferiority.” Slaves were essential to running the state so they should be used for their intended use. He said a knife is good if it is used efficiently, that is if it cuts well to accomplish a task. Slaves, most of the populace, were efficient tools to the betterment of society.

However, God looks upon all men as equal, not in ability, but in their status before Him. Consequently, any forced slavery is a sin against God.

Most Americans have an unrealistic and skewed impression of slavery that they have received from a flawed public school system and media moguls. They have been inculcated with the lie (spoken loudly and at length) that white Christians are somehow responsible for slavery! The fact is we did not start slavery. We ended it!

We even hear of Christians who surrendered their own freedom to ransom others. Slaves were granted religious equality and were permitted to hold office in the Church, even that of a bishop. However, it is noteworthy that Christ never commissioned His Disciples to launch a crusade to dismantle slavery. The New Birth would eventually solve the problem.

Social justice warriors on the left have not considered that aspect of the problem.

Loosey goosey Evangelicals who vie with others to see who is more woke are an embarrassment to genuine Christians who take a biblical position on the cultural issues facing our world. Most of those effervescent EvanJellicals would confess they are “profamily” but are not critical of sodomy or same-sex “marriage.”  They would be gladly cast as “Americans” but not as “nationalists.”  Too many don’t know what a woman is and are perplexed about female sanitary products in male restrooms. The problem is most of today’s soft middle of the road, never take a firm stand Christians are a theological, mental, emotional mess. They are very mushy on border issues and quickly hug any leftwing racial issue to their bosoms like an insecure kid and his ever-present security blanket.

They watched Alex Haley’s televised Roots series sold to the public as a “historic novel.” We saw a handsome black man walking through his idyllic African jungle home when he was accosted by vicious white men, subdued after a valiant effort of resistance, chained, and taken to America where he lived and died a slave on a Southern plantation. That myth has been perpetuated by black preachers (who should be more dedicated to truth) when they tell their people that their ancestors were black royalty who were dragged from their homes by white Americans. Sorry, but it didn’t happen that way.

Black apologist Michael Eric Dyson pitched Alex Haley’s Roots as “unquestionably one of the nation’s seminal texts. It affected events far beyond its pages and was a literary North Star…. Each generation must make up its own mind about how it will navigate the treacherous waters of our nation’s racial sin. And each generation must overcome our social ills through greater knowledge and decisive action. Roots is a stirring reminder that we can achieve these goals only if we look history squarely in the face.”

But Roots doesn’t “look history squarely in the face.” It was fictional from the first page. It was a case of factualizing fiction.

Most Americans still don’t know that historians confronted Haley with his inaccurate screed, and he admitted, “I tried to give my people a myth to live by.” I believe thinking Blacks would prefer to live by the truth rather than a myth. The truth is that Haley pirated (stole, lifted, plagiarized, etc.) from The African, and accused of plagiarism, he settled with the author for $650,000.00.

Some have used the Bible to justify slavery but without success. Exodus 21:16 clearly forbids slavery: “And he that stealeth a man, and selleth him…shall surely be put to death.” So God prescribed the death penalty for those who deal in human flesh! And the death penalty was for both buyer and seller! But what about the Bible supporting slavery in other places? It doesn’t. The Mosaic Law did not establish slavery. The Old Testament recognized slavery as a reality and sought to mitigate it since it was a fact of life throughout the world. The taking of captives in war is another matter but has been a factor in slavery since the beginning of time.

In I Timothy 1:10, the Apostle Paul condemned “menstealers” affirming that such a sin was why the Law of Moses was given.  The epistle of Philemon does not endorse slavery as some suggest. Onesimus was a run-away indentured servant who owed a debt to Philemon, (Paul’s friend) and Paul recommended that Philemon release him when Onesimus returned to him. Paul promised to pay any debt Onesimus owed to Philemon.  In Christ, there is neither bond nor free. All are equal in Christ.

When slavery is discussed, it usually focuses on Southern slavery with more heat than light. Slavery has been a reality since Joseph was sold into slavery in the early days of civilization as recorded in Genesis. Far more Whites have been slaves than Blacks, and it has always been wrong.

Black slaves were first taken to Europe in the late 1400s and to the New World in 1502. Between 1500 and 1860, it is estimated that over nine million Blacks were taken from Africa to the New World, but less than three percent were sold in America during the 350 years preceding the Civil War. Brazil was the biggest market by far.

Black slaves usually fell into one of three categories: (1) captives taken in war or those kidnapped by black chiefs (2) convicted criminals such as killers, thieves, etc.) (3) those born into slavery.

Some suggest that white men introduced slavery to the African continent; however, that is a fairy story. Slavery was known throughout Africa for centuries before white traders sailed into African ports. Slaves were used as money to pay taxes, to purchase a wife, cattle, or crops. As the black historian Nathan Huggins pointed out, “virtually all of the enslavement of Africans was carried out by other Africans.”

Some have tried to defend slavery because the enslaved Blacks were taken to “enlightened” countries where they heard the Gospel of Christ. Sorry, but that dog won’t hunt! While Christianity is the answer to paganism, the residual effects of slavery do not justify the buying or selling of humans.

The degrading, dastardly, and despicable practice of slavery has gone on since the beginning of time in all nations of the earth, but most Americans only think of North America when they think of slavery.

While slavery is a blot on the face of America (and the world) there were some residual benefits that black leaders admit.  In his Up From Slavery, Booker T. Washington said that the Negro was the beneficiary, not the victim of slavery!

Muhammad Ali fought George Foreman in the mid-1970s in the African nation of Zaire and after his victorious fight, Ali flew back to the U.S.  On his return to America, a reporter asked Ali what he thought of Africa, and he replied, “Thank God my granddaddy got on that boat.”

Evidently, Ali thought that something positive came out of slavery, and while he had major problems, famous Greek philosophers were more troubling about slavery than the brain-damaged boxer.

I’m Weary of Black Privileged Bigots! https://donboys.cstnews.com/im-weary-of-black-privileged-bigots https://donboys.cstnews.com/im-weary-of-black-privileged-bigots#respond Fri, 27 Jan 2023 18:06:43 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=3209 By Don Boys, Ph.D.

I also don’t like white bigots but that’s for another day. Those who say that Blacks can do nothing right are racists and those who say they can do no wrong are racists.

When a white person spouts racism, he or she is inevitably rebuked; however, it seems Blacks can express hatred of Whites and are seldom criticized. Why is it racist for me to say, “I’m white; couldn’t help it; don’t deny it; have no desire to change it even if I could?”

Blacks have been given immunity from criticism, and they clearly inform us that all Whites are racists because of their birth—over which they had no control.

Black Racists wave that dirty, divisive, and destructive flag which promotes an untrue, undesirable, and undefendable gospel of “love anything black and hate anything white.” That is pure racism.

But why are politicians and the media afraid of that truth?

Carnegie Mellon University black professor Uju Anya reacted to the news of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II being close to death and responded to the sad news by calling her a “wretched woman” and a “genocidal colonizer” who is “the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire.” She added, “I heard the chief monarch of a thieving raping genocidal empire is finally dying. May her pain be excruciating,” tweeted Professor Anya on Thursday.  After some negative feedback, the professor removed her tweet.

The non-thinking black racist professor directly blamed the Queen for the Nigerian Civil War not knowing she was mainly a ceremonial monarch without constitutional authority to make war and send mutations, troops, and supplies to troubled nations. It might be wise if professors speak to issues of which they have some knowledge.

In a follow-up tweet, the professor plunged headfirst into a pile of hot dung as she referred to Queen Elizabeth as “That wretched woman and her bloodthirsty throne have ****** generations of my ancestors on both sides of the family, and she supervised a government that sponsored the genocide my parents and siblings survived.”

“May she die in agony,” she added.

If a white person had written such vile, vicious, and virulent garbage, he or she would have been fired after enduring scathing abuse in the media and maybe a few nights of protesting rioters, burning buildings, all-night vigils, etc. The black professor was not fired nor even disciplined. You know, free speech, academic freedom, and all that.  Her university did softly slap the back of her hand with a ruler.

The university released a gentle public statement saying it did not “condone the offensive and objectionable messages” Anya posted. “Free expression is core to the mission of higher education [except for Conservatives]; however, the views [Anya] shared absolutely do not represent the values of the institution, nor the standards of discourse we seek to foster.” Of course, the black female professor will not be discharged, demoted, or disciplined since she has protected status by her gender and race.  She has a card giving her special permission to be cruel, crude, and clueless in addition to being biased, bigoted, and brutish.

Evidently, she deserves the right to flash a special card giving her the right to act like a dunce since her ancestors had been slaves—maybe.

The British Empire is far from perfect but at least it is not like Anya’s Nigeria known primarily for scam phone calls and internet scams. I receive a few notices each week of offers to make me a millionaire by contacting obvious stupid and dishonest Nigerian scammers. Maybe Professor Anya could help clean up her homeland’s reputation before wishing an agonizing death on an innocent lady.

It is also true that Great Britain is the source of most of the world’s functioning democracies. Without its influence, the professor would be living in a squalid hut made from sticks and mud and cooking her paltry meals over a stinking campfire. Most of her health care would be handled by the local witch doctor giving her a mixture of white hippo bone powder with a taste of pickled chicken livers but no refills, and the treatment and prescription would not be covered by Blue Cross.

It seems the professor, in addition to having a violent and vicious heart, is also unthankful for the good life she now enjoys. Alas, the universities are filled with such ingrates—black and white.

Nikole Hannah-Jones had a black father and white mother and has a double privilege card—female and black. She wrote, “the white race is the biggest murderer, rapist, pillager, and thief of the modern world.” In a 1995 letter that was originally obtained by The Federalist. Hannah-Jones also compared Christopher Columbus to Adolf Hitler and claimed the “white race used deceit and trickery, warfare and rape” to steal land.

Hannah-Jones is the lead author of The New York Times Magazine 1619 project and has defended violence and looting that occurred during protests in the wake of George Floyd’s death. She characterized the looting following Floyd’s death as symbolic: “That one pair of shoes that you’ve stolen from Foot Locker is not going to change your life. But it is a symbolic taking.”

She was refused a position at North Carolina University Chapel Hill but after another offer followed by much criticism over tenure, she accepted another position at Howard University. Nikole whined, “It’s pretty clear that my tenure was not taken up because of political opposition, because of discriminatory views against my viewpoint and, I believe, [because of] my race and my gender.”

Evidently Nikole didn’t think her unorthodox, untrue, and unpopular view of history could be the reason for the problem.

Hannah-Jones was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for her role in the 1619 Project, which claims that America’s “true founding” occurred in 1619, when the first slaves reached North America. The project has been criticized by historians and civil rights activists, who have argued that the project promotes a revisionist history of America’s founding.

Five major historians wrote to The New York Times Magazine asking them to issue corrections, and one brave reporter for Reason even called the project “junk science.”

Hannah-Jones caused another problem when she informed the world that Europe was not a continent! Well, she doesn’t claim to be a geographer, only a historian.  Anthropologist Peter W. Wood called her comments “triumphant silliness.” Good for Peter, another brave soul.

I can’t find where any media, educational, or religious group demanded Hannah-Jones return the Pulitzer Prize because of her flawed, false, and frivolous view of history. However, on October 6, 2020, The National Association of Scholars asked the Pulitzer Prize Board to withdraw the prize, but there is no public record that the Board has done so. She still pretends to be a famous and prize-winning author.

Alicia Garza is a self-described “queer” social-justice activist who reveres the Marxist revolutionary, former Black Panther, and convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur for her contributions to the “Black Liberation Movement.” Garza is likewise a great admirer of Angela Davis another Communist Party member and former Black Panther now a retired distinguished professor from University of California, Santa Cruz.

In 2004, Garza “came out as queer” and has a philosophical tattoo emblazoned on her chest that reads: I am not wrong:

Wrong is not my name

My name is my own my own my own

and I can’t tell you who the hell set things up like this

but I can tell you that from now on my resistance

my simple and daily and nightly self-determination

may very well cost you your life.

Wow, what a sweetheart!

Garza founded Black Lives Matter with Patrisse Cullors and Opal Tometi. Garza is now the 27th most influential African American and is included in Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential people of 2020.

In a commencement address at San Francisco State University, Garza opined, “There would be no America were it not for black women. This is an ode to black women – because black women are magic. We, I, you and me – we owe everything to black women.” White officials stood behind her smiling and permitted such lies to be uttered on the campus of a public owned institution.

When I hear such pronouncements of black university professors, my immediate thought is it is all a joke, or are these people actually insane, or it may be only the spouting of a certified idiot.

I suggest prominent, privileged, and prejudiced Blacks use their influence to advance the cause of black families, help keep kids in school, strive to put drug dealers in prison—even black ones, and teach all kids, especially Blacks, how to respond when a person of authority gives them an order, especially if he has a gun.

Additionally, it would help their cause if young Blacks were informed that there are hundreds of four letter words that don’t start with s or f and are unoffensive yet can express a bold opinion.

God warned us in Proverbs 17:15, “He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.” Principled people have a disdain for any falsehood.

Now, you have my sentiments on the subject of black privileged bigots who browbeat, bamboozle, belittle, bully, and blackmail their way to “stardom” by flashing the black privileged card.

It’s Time for the Annual Fraud on Gullible Blacks—Kwanzaa! https://donboys.cstnews.com/its-time-for-the-annual-fraud-on-gullible-blacks-kwanzaa https://donboys.cstnews.com/its-time-for-the-annual-fraud-on-gullible-blacks-kwanzaa#respond Fri, 30 Dec 2022 16:38:32 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=3203 By Don Boys, Ph.D.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a fool of herself this week when she and her husband posted a video touting her family’s celebration of Kwanzaa as a small child. The vice president, known for an inherent, incredible, and embarrassing tendency to exaggerate, insulted every American as she pandered to them and promoted her impossible lies. Kwanzaa, the humanist holiday, was created two years after she was born and did not become popular among black families until the late 1970s and early 80s.  However, to her credit, she did not cackle like a drunk Atlantic puffin, known as the “clown of the sea.”

Harris is known as, well America’s Vice President in charge of the southern border who finally visited it but 800 miles from where the problems are! But she can finally say, “I’ve been to the border.”

Kwanzaa is a massive con job aimed at gullible Blacks, especially those who want to “seek their African roots.” It seems too many Blacks have been very careless in buying into anything that seems to support their “cause.” But then, Liberals—black and white—have an incredible tendency to accept falsehood and a boundless capacity to respect any faith but Christianity. Many city officials try each December to ban nativity scenes, Christmas carols, candy canes, and even Christmas trees from public places, but the non-holiday holiday Kwanzaa has been accepted and even promoted as mainstream.

Internet information is not as independent and even-handed as we are led to believe as revealed in History.com’s treatment of the holiday fraud of Kwanzaa: “Dr. Maulana Karenga, professor and chairman of Black Studies at California State University, Long Beach, created Kwanzaa in 1966. After the Watts riots in Los Angeles, Dr. Karenga searched for ways to bring African Americans together as a community. He founded US, a cultural organization, and started to research African ‘first fruit’ (harvest) celebrations….”

Note the positive presentation of a fraud in a time when it is safe to savage anything Christian: nativity scenes, the greeting Merry Christmas, Christ-honoring songs, etc. If David Duke, a former KKK member did something comparable do you think any media would simply provide the facts without mentioning he was or is a clan member?

Moreover, the internet almost always identifies Karenga as “Dr.” and that is correct and reasonable, but the mainstream media and many websites often refuse to use my doctorate (two earned doctorates). Not complaining, just pointing out again that the radical left is inconsistent, inaccurate, as well as insane.

For the record, Kwanzaa has nothing to do with Christ or the Bible. It is racist and was founded by a man with a criminal record. The AP reported that some Blacks “consider[ing] it a pagan holiday are taking issue with its founder, a black nationalist, and ex-con – he was convicted of torturing two women.” The article also correctly revealed that the holiday came out of the Black Power movement of the 1960s. However, the AP treated the issue kindly and without providing the unvarnished truth since it would be so devastating to thinking Blacks.

On December 26, 1966, Ron Karenga and his family and friends lit a candle at the kick-off of Kwanzaa, a new holiday to remember their African roots. However, Karenga admitted to the Washington Post that Kwanzaa was not African and they hated whites. Karenga wrote what I call, the mission statement for Kwanzaa fanatics as cited from his Quotable Karenga: “The sevenfold path of blackness is think black, talk black, act black, create black, buy black, vote black, and live black.” That is black separatism (black supremacy) and racist to the core. Let me suggest it should be “Think American, talk American, act American, create American, buy American, vote American and live American.” Or, how about “think Christian, talk Christian, act Christian, create Christian, buy Christian, vote Christian, and live Christian!” I suppose someone might call me a closed-minded bigot for that suggestion.

The Black Panther Party was formed in Oakland, California by Huey Newton and Bobby Seale in 1966 to protect Blacks and black neighborhoods from “police brutality.” However, those lofty goals changed with time. While the party was always socialist, it became more vicious and violent. They and other black groups spewed bigotry, intolerance, hatred, sexism, anti-Semitism, dogmatic historical revisionism, and violence throughout North America. Many black nationalists exemplified more hatred for whites than a love of their own race. Most Black Nationalist leaders were critical of Martin Luther King’s professed nonviolent approach to civil rights and sarcastically called him “De Lawd.”

Into such an atmosphere entered Ron Karenga, founder of United Slaves (a violent nationalist rival to the Black Panthers) and a dupe of the FBI. The tension between the Black Panthers and the United Slaves reached the highest level over who would head up the new Afro-American Studies department at UCLA. Each radical group supported different radical candidates.

Then on January 17, 1969, fewer than 200 students gathered on the UCLA campus to discuss their differences. During the meeting, John Jerome Huggins and Alprentice Carter of the Panthers verbally attacked Karenga, much to the dismay of his followers. After the meeting, two United Slave members, George and Larry Stiner, confronted Huggins and Carter in a hallway and shot and killed them, and the fat was in the fire.

George and Larry finally were sentenced to life in San Quentin prison. In 1975, the two brothers, fearing an alleged retaliatory plot by white prison guards, escaped from San Quentin (with help from a black prison guard) and fled to Suriname. In 1994, Larry turned himself in to United States officials and returned to America, but George’s whereabouts are still unknown.

On September 17, 1971, Ron Karenga was sentenced to one to ten years in the slammer on felonious assault and false imprisonment counts. The charges stemmed from a May 9, 1970, incident in which Karenga and two others tortured two women. According to the Los Angeles Times, “Deborah Jones, who once was given the title of an African queen, said she and Gail Davis were whipped with an electrical cord and beaten with a karate baton after being ordered to remove their clothes. She testified that a hot soldering iron was placed in Miss Davis’ mouth.”

At his trial, Ron Karenga’s sanity was in question, and a psychiatrist declared, “This man now represents a picture which can be considered both paranoid and schizophrenic with hallucinations and elusions, inappropriate affect, disorganization, and impaired contact with the environment.” The psychiatrist observed that Karenga talked to his blanket and imaginary persons and believed he had been attacked by dive-bombers!

My two-year-old grandson also talked to his blanket, had imaginary friends, and believed he was attacked by peg-legged, one-eyed Caribbean pirates but he has not been offered a position at a major university as was Karenga! Eight years later California State University at Long Beach made Karenga the head of its Black Studies Department! I think he should be making license plates in a state prison.

If Blacks (or anyone else) want to celebrate Kwanzaa that is their right; however, it is my right to set the record straight. Kwanzaa is grounded in violence, corruption, and deceit. Furthermore, it has an admitted humanist foundation, so professing Christians should not go near the thing. Neither should black Americans!

The U.S. Postal Service put its stamp (pun intended) of approval on the pagan holiday by issuing a stamp honoring Kwanzaa which only proves how shallow, senseless, and shameful the Postal Service is. Moreover, the New York Times and other major media have positively pitched Kwanzaa as legitimate. Those people wear the “merit badge” of political correctness. In fact, they flaunt it without shame.

For those Blacks (and any others) who don’t like America or prefer another culture, I’ll help them migrate out of this country! There is plenty of room in Africa.

While some of the “seven principles” (unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity, and faith) of Kwanzaa seem commendable, they must be read within the total socialist, Marxist, and anti-white context in which they were developed by a very unstable guy.

The Kwanzaa Information Center also notes that the Kwanzaa flag “has become the symbol of devotion for African people in America to establish an independent African nation on the North American Continent.” Uh, I believe that is a dictionary definition of apartheid that was so hated in South Africa. Of course, white Americans will fund the whole mess.

Blacks can celebrate whatever they choose but I will remind them that if it is Kwanzaa, they recognize a “holiday” that was designed by a hateful, bigoted, black Marxist who reportedly talks to his blanket, has imaginary friends, and believed he was attacked by dive-bombers! Watch out, they’re coming out of the clouds at the two o’clock position!

Furthermore, Nancy Pelosi used Kwanzaa to pander to all Americans on the House floor, but Nancy, It’s Kwanzaa, not Shwanza!

Maybe Blacks and Whites should be more careful in choosing their holidays and their heroes and their House members.

Hymns of Hate from Black Leaders! https://donboys.cstnews.com/hymns-of-hate-from-black-leaders https://donboys.cstnews.com/hymns-of-hate-from-black-leaders#respond Thu, 03 Nov 2022 18:45:47 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=3184 By Don Boys, Ph.D.

A few years ago, I thought a racist was a person—black, white, or polka dot—who disliked someone of another race because they were of another race. Of course, that’s hardly their fault. However, from the major media, it seems I have been wrong all along. It seems Blacks cannot be racists, and whites are always racists —because they were born into whiteness.

Racism is the blackjack used in an attempt to beat Whites and Conservative Blacks (called Uncle Toms by black racists) into submission. Black fanatics seeking an audience, advancement, and an advantage, usually look through rage-colored glasses. Moreover, I have been convinced in recent years that Black leaders are America’s most irresponsible, insincere, and inept people. They have surrendered any modicum of honesty to the god of wokeism. They will say anything, take any position, and support any person without consideration for their courage or cowardice, compassion or cruelty, facts or fantasy, or honor or hokum.

And white politicians, pundits, preachers, professors, and the press with enormous influence are too gutless to condemn their insanity and, in some cases, their insincerity.

Martin Luther King’s 1967 “The Other America” speech at Stanford University was two years after California and Harlem’s race riots. King vainly tried to explain the cause of rioting and looting to his mainly white audience. He said, “A riot is the language of the unheard.” No, rioting, looting, and burning are the results of destructive, devious, and demented minds and cannot be justified. King was not ridiculed for such a stupid statement because of his special status.

It is time for Blacks to look at where they are in America—not in bondage, not on a plantation, not second class but in the best situation they have ever been. They are free and have more prestige, power, possessions, property, and presence than at any time in their history. Many Blacks are in far better circumstances than ordinary white people. However, the rhetoric of their leaders does not indicate that reality.

Instead, many black leaders pretend Blacks live on an antebellum plantation waiting hand and foot on a vile, vicious, and violent Simon Legree.  While chattel slavery can never be justified, all slave owners were not so stupid as to kill those who did their plantation work. All Blacks are not heroes, nor are all Whites zeros.

History is full of dishonest, dishonorable, and devious Blacks that were charlatans—and worse.

LeRoi Jones declared, “they [Whites] owe us everything, including their lives.” It is astounding that anyone, especially Blacks, would consider that dude an icon of black history. However, Blacks are very careless and seem to support almost any popular Black, no matter how vile, vicious, or violent they are.

It seems color, not character is the deciding factor when choosing heroes.

Marcus Garvey, a famous Black leader, declared, “Every student of history, of impartial mind, knows that the Negro ruled the world when white men were savages and barbarians living in caves; that thousands of Negro professors at that time taught in the universities of Alexandria, then the seat of learning—that ancient Egypt gave to the world civilization and that Greece and Rome have robbed Egypt of her arts and letters, and taken all the credit to themselves.”

His inaccurate, incredible, and insane tirade continued: “It is not surprising, however, that white men should resort to every means to keep Negroes in ignorance of their history. It would be a great shock to their pride to admit to the world today that 3,000 years ago black men excelled in government and were the founders and teachers of art, science and literature.”

The racism in the above statement is only exceeded by his ignorance or his deliberate lies in rewriting history. Every informed Black should be embarrassed by his stupid comment, but I don’t know any civil rights leader who condemned his diatribe.

Of course, reversing Black and White would still be untrue.

I don’t mean to be unkind, but it is undisputed that Blacks are the only group in America who have not risen as a group during their tenure. Compare them to the Irish, Jews, Mexicans, Asians, Germans, Italians, and others. But I suppose it is racism to report that uncomfortable reality. Sure, numerous Blacks are very successful, but as a group, they have worsened.

Louis Farrakhan declared, “The white man is our mortal enemy, and we cannot accept him. I will fight to see that vicious beast go down into the lake of fire prepared for him from the beginning, that he never rise again to give any innocent black man, woman, or child the hell that he has delighted in pouring on us for 400 years.”

Yet, Farrakhan, an outspoken Jew-hater, has been courted and promoted by numerous white and black leaders who consider him untouchable. Tragically, he has wasted his life being fat, racist, and stupid. But then, he does always dress well in costly clothes. Significantly, Joe Biden attended the funeral of a Capitol Hill Police Officer who was killed by a supporter of  Farrakhan and then participated in a meeting with supporters of Louis Farrakhan.

Such inane action proves Biden does not abide by my historical friend Bill Shakespeare’s statement, “Consistency, thou art a jewel.” In kindness, Biden’s excuse could be he has sadly slipped into the shadows of senility. However, that doesn’t excuse his advisors, his wife, and leaders of the Democrat Party for putting him in a position that exposes his pathetic recklessness.

Another black leader wrote, “Everywhere the white man may be, even in Europe, the earth belongs to the Black Man.” He also declared, “The Time of the Rise of the Black Man of America is NOW!”

The film “Why Don’t We Murder More White People” aired at a San Francisco museum for a month. A description of the film depicted it as “an examination of whiteness, its unassailable immortality, and how it permeates our daily lives.” It tells us that whiteness is violence, and that Whites are born “inherently evil.” One person said, “I think if you’re not supporting people of color and to end white supremacy, and you’re neutral, or you are that person that’s perpetrating it, then you shouldn’t — I think you deserve harm.”

Your tax dollars produced the film. Wonder what would happen if I suggested that police should kill more Blacks. Oh, I see. That’s different. Blacks can’t be racist, and we must forgive their racist ranting and only smile at their pathetic swaggering, breast-beating antics.

Black zealot Damon Young admitted he “Recite[s] the Lord’s Prayer with my family. But instead of ending it with ‘Amen,’ adds, ‘and then kill whitey.’” What apparent hypocrisy (and blasphemy) and such action in the presence of children is blatant child abuse.

Biden’s nominee to head the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, Kristen Clarke, wrote, among other things, that “Black infants sit, stand, crawl and walk sooner than whites” and “Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities.” When she said that, no one yelled “racism” and demanded she be rejected. To their credit, all Republican senators except Susan Collins of Maine voted against her. Were those Republicans racists, or were the supporting Democrats racists?

I suppose it is bigotry for me to remind Kristen that only 16 Blacks have won Nobel Prizes, and 12 of those were awarded the easy-to-qualify-for Peace Prize. You know Obama, Mandela, King, Bunch, Tutu, etc. Since the desired prize began in 1901, 954 individuals (including 61 women) have received a Nobel Prize, so do we accuse the leftist Nobel Committee of racism?

When I hear such insane, inaccurate, and intolerable pronouncements as Kristen’s, I immediately think it is all a joke, or someone is clinically insane, or maybe only the spouting of a certified idiot. Obviously, truth is being sacrificed at the altar of pretended tolerance. It appears Kristen is incompetent even though she graduated from Harvard and Columbia Law School, which may tell you how far those schools have degenerated.

If I were a trustee of one of those schools, I would demand the return of her degree.

Race hustler Ibram X Kendi (born Henry Rogers) attacked Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett as a “white colonizer” for adopting two Haitian children. According to the jerk (Kendi, not Barrett), the justice thought such action would protect her from charges of racial bigotry.

Does any lucid person believe a prominent white family would adopt black children to score points with the woke crowd? Isn’t it possible, just possible, that the Barrett family loves children and wants to give desperate black kids an incredible opportunity to be loved and reared for personal success?

WorldNetDaily reported on the racism of a New York Times writer who believes white people are “bloodsuckers” and “barbaric devils.” Nikole Hannah-Jones, the reporter behind the New York Times’ 1619 Project declared America was “founded to preserve slavery.” She recently demanded and was paid a $40,000 fee for a speech at a Virginia high school. I might consider listening to her speech if I received a $40 listening fee. But on second thought, I would not. Hannah-Jones has proved to be a farce and a fraud and far from factual, in my opinion.

Is it racism to disclaim, dislike, and disparage the black subculture—what passes as music, living on welfare for generations, absent fathers, high prison incarceration, corrupted English, etc.? It is not racism to point out that Blacks are the only minority in U.S. History who has failed to improve after many generations; liberal politicians (mostly Democrats) are the reason.

Nigerian-born rap artist Jesse Ekene Nweke Conable believes only white people can be racists and called for his fans to “shoot” white people while urging, “Take them as slaves and treat them even worse.” He added, “We’ll take their bitches and we’ll take their money. To be perfectly honest, we will be the best race ever. We are African warriors, they are not on our level. This is just the beginning, black power.” Making the shape of a gun with his hand, Conable asserted, “If any white guy or white girl is trying to talk **** about you, shoot them! If they talk **** about your family, shoot them!”

If racist Blacks have their way, your future will forever be a boot on your face. Wishing does no good, but many Americans wish their ancestors would have picked their own cotton.

Informed and Honest Blacks Don’t Celebrate Kwanzaa! https://donboys.cstnews.com/informed-and-honest-blacks-dont-celebrate-kwanzaa https://donboys.cstnews.com/informed-and-honest-blacks-dont-celebrate-kwanzaa#respond Thu, 16 Dec 2021 17:13:28 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2992 Of course, honest and dishonest Blacks can celebrate Ground Hog Day if they choose; however, they should know what they are celebrating. Ronald Everett, the founder of Kwanzaa, has conned academia, the media, a small segment of Americans, and a substantial number of Blacks. Ron was born in Parsonsburg, Maryland, the fourteenth child in the family. His father was a tenant farmer and Baptist minister.  Everett moved to Los Angeles in 1959, joining his older brother, who was a teacher there.

During this period, he took the name Karenga (Swahili for keeper of tradition) and the title Maulana (Swahili-Arabic for master teacher).  It seems humility is not one of the principles of Kwanzaa’s founder.

Following the Watts Riots in 1965, Karenga (Ron Everett) organized US or United Slaves that meant “US black people,” and he credited Malcolm X’s Afro-American Unity program as a big influence for his group’s group existence. Their silly motto is “Anywhere we are, Us is.”

During the early years of Kwanzaa, Karenga said that it was meant to be an “oppositional alternative” to Christmas (gift-giving) and Judaism (using a seven-branch candle-holder that evokes Judaism’s menorah); however, as it became more popular, it has morphed into a special day for Blacks–non-thinking Blacks. The holiday begins Dec. 26 until Jan. 1, and the celebrations often include songs and dances, storytelling, poetry reading, and a large meal. On each of the seven nights, the family gathers, and a child lights one of the candles on a candle holder, followed by a discussion of one of the seven principles.

At first blush, this may seem to be a useful tool in strengthening black families, but it is a racist, bigoted, make-believe holiday founded by a deranged white hater. In his 30-page booklet, The Quotable Karenga, Karenga wrote, “The sevenfold path of blackness is think black, talk black, act black, create black, buy black, vote black, and live black.”  Wonder what would happen if I suggested the same thing but changed the word black to white?

Karenga admitted in a Washington Post interview in 1978, “People think it’s African, but it’s not. I came up with Kwanzaa because black people in this country wouldn’t celebrate it if they knew it was American. Also, I put it around Christmas because I know that’s when a lot of bloods would be partying.”  Bloods is a 1960’s California slang term for black people but is now a gang term.

As racial disturbances spread across the country in the late 1960s, Karenga appeared at a series of black power conferences, joining other groups in urging the establishment of a separate political structure for Blacks. His United Slaves became a target of the FBI and was put on a series of lists describing it as dangerous, revolutionary, and committed to armed struggle in the Black Power Movement.

United Slaves engaged in violent competition with the Black Panther Party in their claim to be the voice of the black revolutionary movement. This conflict for leadership with Blacks eventually led to a shootout at UCLA in 1969. During that confrontation, two Panthers were killed, and a member of their youth group (Simba, meaning young lions) was shot in the back. Two more Panthers were murdered after the UCLA shootout when Panthers and US members came in conflict with each other.

Interestingly, Karenga lists his many awards in his official biography (where none of his criminal activities are mentioned), but he does mention an Outstanding Humanitarian Award; however, I doubt that the two women who were stripped naked and had a hot soldering iron used on them would agree that he qualified as “humanitarian.” But that’s another article.

In 1975, Karenga dropped his cultural nationalist views and converted to Marxism.

People in academia, the media, and the general public developed selective amnesia, and the convicted felon became a celebrated Black leader.

To further substantiate Karenga’s radical racial agenda, he delivered a eulogy at the 2001 funeral service of New Black Panther Party leader Khalid Abdul Muhammad, praising him for his organizing activities and commitment to black empowerment. In 1993 Khalid gave a speech at Kean College in Union Township, New Jersey, in which Muhammad referred to Jews as bloodsuckers; labeled the Pope a “no-good cracker,” and advocated the murder of any and all white South Africans who would not leave the nation after a warning period of 24 hours. Such is the dude that Karenga eulogized, but then they were “cut out of the same cloth.”

Ron Everett, aka Maulana Karenga, is a Black bigot, hater of Whites, and convicted felon. Along the way, he managed to flimflam enough people to garner some unmerited respectability. However, he is of the same ilk as Louis Farrakhan, and I don’t like haters, whatever their color or race, or religion.

None of my informed black friends will be celebrating Kwanzaa.

Confederate Statue Removers Are Contemptible Hypocrites by Leaving Senator Byrd Alone! https://donboys.cstnews.com/confederate-statue-removers-are-contemptable-hypocrites-by-leaving-senator-byrd-alone https://donboys.cstnews.com/confederate-statue-removers-are-contemptable-hypocrites-by-leaving-senator-byrd-alone#respond Fri, 23 Jul 2021 17:02:44 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2886 Wise men have said if we don’t learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it; however, if history is twisted like a pretzel by progressives, a confused generation will accept fables as facts. That is not accidental but planned and pernicious.

George Orwell warned, “The most effective way to destroy a people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of history.” That has been happening since the zealots, pretending to be sensitive about imperfect people, started removing portraits and statues of historical persons.

The anti-historical fanatics are tearing out the guts of this nation. They finally succeeded in removing the statues of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson from their place of honor in Charlottesville. These history-hating hypocrites pretend to be so superior; however, those twits don’t qualify to wash and polish the bronze statues of those two principled men or shine their boots while alive.

Charlottesville Mayor Nikuyah said the removal was “one small step forward” in dismantling White supremacy and reckoning with their past. The comatose mayor doesn’t know that we dealt with our past with something called the Civil War, resulting in the removal of slavery. More Americans died in that war than in WW I, WW II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the recent wars in the Middle East—combined!

Removing Confederate statues, rewriting history, and denigrating everything southern, misnamed “progressives” are whitewashing our history as we turn away from the inconvenient truths of our past.

I suggest the black zealots and black mayors be handed a copy of CliffsNotes or SparkNotes as a quick introduction to that war. Or, someone might read them the text since there are few pictures.

General Lee was one of the most talented, gracious, and conscientious men of the day. Before freeing his wife’s slaves and preparing them for freedom, General Lee’s wife taught the slaves to read and write and the women how to sew. Most Americans don’t know it was illegal to educate blacks in most of the south. This was especially true after the summer of 1831, following the massacre of 55 white men, women, and children led by Nat Turner, a slave and professed Baptist preacher—in reality, a religious nut. Many states made slave education illegal. Mrs. Lee refused to obey that law.

Following his surrender, Lee refused many lucrative job offers and, in 1865, accepted a small salary as president of Washington College (later Washington and Lee University) located in Lexington. One of their professors and other racial jerks want to remove Lee’s name from that institution because he was a “traitor.” Washington and Lee Professor James Casey (a self-hating white dude), said, “[Lee] betrayed that oath to the Constitution of the United States for one reason and one reason only, to protect the institution of slavery.”

Only a racist or a poorly trained person says the original and foremost reason for the Civil War was slavery. The professor had also said, “something is wrong with white folk.” His false claim about the war being fought over slavery became popular when it became politically expedient to do so after the south exploded over collection of taxes on imports at the Charleston port.

The civil war happened because two contending parties—the North and the South—disagreed on who would collect taxes on imported items at the ports of entry, specifically at Fort Sumter off the coast of Charleston, South Carolina. However, a war over taxes doesn’t sizzle but fighting to free slaves will cause men to march to their deaths. So, the South wanted independence, not the protection of slavery, and the North wanted an intact Union, not the abolition of slavery. And with an intact Union, the feds could continue to charge 40% tax, not the 10% South Carolina charged.

Southern leaders correctly asserted they had a legal and moral right to secede from the Union. In fact, New York, Virginia, and Rhode Island made joining the Union contingent on being able to leave. No colony would have agreed to be part of the Union if they did not have the right to return to their independent status.

In 1855, soon to be famous Thomas (Stonewall) Jackson broke the law every Sunday morning when he taught a Sunday school class of Blacks at the Lexington Presbyterian Church. He was also careful that even during the war, his tithe was sent to his church.

Compare Lee and Jackson with Senator Robert Byrd, a lifetime Democrat and an organizer in the 1940s of a chapter of the KKK in West Virginia. He wrote in the early 1949s, “The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia and in every state in the nation.”

Byrd wrote to Senator Theodore Bibo in 1944, declaring, “I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side… Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds.”

Senator Byrd was a member and the founder of that chapter and was elected Exalted Cyclops unanimously. While he repudiated the Klan in later years (after he was an established Washington insider), he and the Democrat Party vehemently opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 57 days! Senator Byrd filibustered for 14 hours against the legislation, yet Democrats still call him “the conscience of the Senate.” He was a typical politician—a bag of stale wind.

You see, that was when Democrats believed in and used the filibuster; however, today, the Democrats don’t believe in it when it is advantageous to the Republicans.

Did I mention that Democrats are certified hypocrites? They have a well-earned Ph.D., Doctor in Hypocritical Pomposity.

Now, since the very sensitive progressives want to correct all wrongs of the past and live in a pure society without offensive proslavery statues, why have they left Senator Byrd untouched. His busts and photos in Washington have not been removed. Is there a crusade in West Virginia to change the numerous streets, parks, and schools that bear his name? If not, why not?

Would my critics not be too hard on me if I suggest that Democrats are the sleaziest, most despicable hypocrites ever? They do irreparable damage to truth and present and future generations by manipulating historical reality.

Tyrants have always preferred fiction over facts and write history to please themselves. I revealed in my book The God Haters an example of politicians manipulating history when Caesar tried to obliterate the memory of Pilate because he had offended Caesar. Pilate, therefore, did not exist since Caesar said so, and officials and historians willingly obeyed by removing Pilate’s name from all records.

Mark Antony had a similar experience with his memory being formally expunged from Rome’s official records after his affair with Cleopatra. Antony and Cleopatra agreed to commit suicide, and Antony stabbed himself with a sword and died in Cleopatra’s arms. She then killed herself with the bite from a poisonous serpent.

Antony had antagonized Cicero, and the powers that be, so his name was removed from the history books. “His name was obliterated from the…state registers of official events. His statues were removed. It was to be as if he had never existed. The Senate …voted that no member of the Antonius clan should be named Marcus….His birthday was made …an unlucky day, on which public business could not be conducted.”

However, that was not Cicero’s opinion when he wrote in 80 B.C., “The first law is that the historian shall never dare to set down what is false; the second, that he shall never dare to conceal the truth; the third, that there shall be no suspicion in his work of either favoritism or prejudice.” Antony was a toddler at the time and many years later, Cicero did the opposite to punish Antony. Such was politics along the Tiber—as well as the Potomac. The same has been true for more decades along the Moskva and Volga Rivers in Russia.

Soviet despot Joseph Stalin sent fellow Communist Leon Trotsky into exile and airbrushed him out of the Great Soviet Encyclopedia; then to finish the matter, assassinated him in Mexico. For decades, when a Soviet official fell out of favor with the sitting Soviet tyrant, the offender was painted out of the official photos of the most recent May Day Parade in Moscow.

There is no end to such catastrophic and wretched activities of little men using their temporary authority to strike back at their real or perceived enemies. Officials with little minds, guilty consciences, enlarged egos, and gobs of personal insecurity will always use their power to accentuate their positives and modulate their negatives.

However, the past is always with us. Sane, secure, and stable leaders will not rewrite history for political, personal, or pecuniary reasons; but we can count on the misfits, malcontents, and malefactors to distort history.

I suggest today’s lowlife rabble-rousers stop desecrating and removing historical heroes and patriots or be consistent (for a change) and destroy every vestige of Senator Robert Byrd, former Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan.

I’m White and Have No Guilt, No Hatred, and No Apologies! https://donboys.cstnews.com/im-white-and-have-no-guilt-no-hatred-and-no-apologies https://donboys.cstnews.com/im-white-and-have-no-guilt-no-hatred-and-no-apologies#respond Fri, 16 Jul 2021 16:09:41 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2881 I am weary and wary but not wrong over false accusations, even silly charges against Whites, a group to which I belong through no fault of my own. It’s time to call out the racists—Blacks and Whites— who hide their self-hate, anger, inferiority, or bigotry behind the fig leaf of contemptible accusations of white people. It seems Whites are responsible for everything including, but not limited to, sunspots, dandruff, arthritis, and sandstorms in Saudi Arabia.

We are told, in essence, that Whites are born with a bulls-eye on the back of their heads because they are white.

Let me remind my readers that most of the good things we enjoy in the free world were accomplished by “dead white men.” No, not all things, but most things were accomplished by white men, not non-whites or non-men. It is not politically correct to assert such, but only a fool, fanatic, or falsifier denies it. Others will agree it is true but don’t want it spoken because the truth offends some people.

Too bad. Welcome to the real world. Being offended won’t kill anyone, and they will get over it sooner or later. If not, such is life. And I’m tired of minorities who constantly ridicule white people to make themselves feel superior. They have invented a false history of self-aggrandizement in which they celebrate, although during occasional seizures of honesty they know it is all make-believe.

But they feel better.

For schools to teach that to be white is a curse, a shame, and something to overcome is outrageous, odious, and offensive. Every person with any connection to such a farce should be fired and forever forbidden from the classroom at all levels. Any preacher who is so stupid to teach it should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail. Any media person who stoops so low in promoting such absurdities should be forever doomed to do the weather in a remote station in the Aleutian Islands. Additionally, they should be forced to perform with a Jeffrey Toobin Award hanging from their neck.

Facts are inflexible and honest people accept them even if they are embarrassing. There are good and bad people of all races in all strata of society. Moreover, everyone should make whatever changes necessary to leave this world better because he was here. I believe the most immediate and permanent change is genuine Christian conversion that impacts every area of life. Others will refuse that approach and try everything from Atheism to Zoroastrianism.

Each American has a right to be wrong.

Other fanatics campaign for an amalgamated society with no variance except a slight difference in the hue— not black, red, or yellow and not white for sure. That sounds so cosmopolitan, multi-cultural, progressive, unnecessary, gratuitous, and so self-hating. If God permitted each of us to be born as we are, is it wise to tamper with that arrangement? What is wrong with keeping the status quo? What’s wrong with having the original plan of various hues?

After all, there is a black continent made up of 52 nations, and no one is suggesting they become whiter or less black. We have many Asian countries basically made up of yellow-skinned folk, and no one is suggesting they be mongrelized.  So, why not keep America basically, as it is with all the various hues and colors? Why must Whites be assimilated? No one can prove any such achievement would be advantageous to society.

Let’s keep it the way it is through voluntary choices: Whites, 75%; Blacks, 12%; Hispanic, 11%; American Indian, 10% and Asian, 3.6%. If a Black chooses to marry a white person, then go to it but don’t try to force us through governmental action or even social intimidation to ridicule, repudiate, and reject Whites to arrive at a very dubious social experiment.

Most of us would say it is permissible if a Black wants to marry a white person liking all that goes with such a union. So, why is it wrong if a White decides to only marry another white person, or a Black decides to only marry another Black person, wanting what goes with that—the heritage, the color, the family connections, preservation of a group, etc.?

In recent years, in collaboration with the feds, environmental zealots went to contemptible extremes to preserve the spotted owl, snail darter, and the yellow belly sapsucker, so why not keep America as the land of the free and the home of the brave? Why is it admirable for American Indians, Hispanics, Blacks, Arabs, and others to loudly proclaim their ethnicity, but when a white, English-speaking person does so, everyone treats him like a bigot? This is a subject no one wants to handle. It’s like an elephant sitting in a formal living room that no one admits is there! While I don’t want to be identified with white supremacists, I think it is proper and desirable to keep the white heritage and culture alive.

It is appalling that white people have apologized for being white. Is it prima fascia evidence that we hate people if we think being white is just as good as black, brown, etc.? There are far more nations populated by people of color than white nations. Why not have a majority white nation here and there around the globe?

Hispanics, Blacks, American Indians, etc., should be proud of their nationality and race; after all, God made them that way. So would you mind if I believe the same thing about being white and English speaking? And why make America into another Spanish-speaking nation? Are there not enough of them south of the U.S.?

New immigrants to the U.S. should learn to speak English. That is the least they can do. Teddy Roosevelt suggested that any immigrant who did not learn English within five years of his arrival should be shipped back home! Tally Ho, Teddy!

My grandchildren have a right to live in a nation similar to what I knew, so I don’t want them to see our culture changed to that of the seventh-century Arabian Desert or a Third World African nation. It is not unreasonable to expect America to reflect the America where I grew up.

Yes, I believe America is superior to all other nations, even with some nut jobs running around declaring otherwise.

It can’t happen, but I would like a return to the relative innocence of the 1950s when we once again believe that there is a difference between right and wrong, and we have a moral responsibility to choose the right. We can discriminate because we will make value judgments about cars, music, television shows, politics, and even religion.

With the massive increase in legal and illegal immigration, we are going to lose our national identity. Some think that is good. I’m not one of them. People from Europe immigrating to the U.S. are much easier to assimilate than most Latin American, African, and Middle Eastern nations. Only fools say all immigrants are equal. My critics will say that is evident proof of bigotry and hatred, but it is a statement of fact. And anyone’s refusal to recognize such truths clearly indicates closed-mindedness or prejudice.

When many immigrants come to America and hold loyalty to former homelands, it erodes our society. Dual loyalty weakens our strength, stability, and security. If we have to assimilate a million new Americans here, do you think it would be easier to assimilate a million British or a million Haitians? I don’t want any new immigrants for a few years.

The proponents of the salad bowl theory tell us that one culture or religion is just as good as another. My critics tell us a 300-member Stone Age culture with all its barbarism, brutality, and backwardness is just as viable, valuable, and virtuous as our modern, urbane, sophisticated society with elevators, airplanes, automobiles, hospitals, MRI machines, computers, etc. Likewise, the voodoo cultures practicing witchcraft, shamanism, demonism, pantheism, etc., are acceptable and on par with Christianity. I don’t believe that either.

Neither do you.

I believe that some immigration is acceptable, although I would stop it for five years, and people who want to blend with our culture should have priority. Most Americans want a cultural and national melting pot, not a salad bowl. If we continue with unrestricted immigration, legal and illegal, this melting pot will become a chamber pot. (If you don’t know, search it.)

There should be rules, restrictions, and requirements for immigrants. While restricting immigration, we should elevate our entrance requirements whereby all immigrants must sing in English all the verses of “America, the Beautiful” and whistle the National Anthem simultaneously–with a mouthful of saltine crackers! Well, maybe not quite that extreme, but almost!

Immigrants who demand we be sensitive to their feelings when they don’t give a flip about ours are wearisome. We have our own language, lifestyle, culture, music (such as it is), and I am weary of foreigners who enjoy all the many benefits of our nation and are not sensitive to our feelings. America opened her collective arms and invited anyone and everyone to her shores with no questions asked and no obligations required, all in the name of multiculturalism and non-discrimination. We have been fools and are watching American culture being denounced, denigrated, and destroyed in front of our eyes. That must stop!

We are often told that new immigrants are offended when we sing patriotic songs, fly the American flag, and pray to Christ. Too bad, no one gets through life being unoffended. This is a big world, so they can move someplace else. I’ve seen plenty of empty space on the Arabian Desert!

I was born white and will probably stay that way until I die. What hue or color I then become, I don’t care. While I am embarrassed by some white Americans, I am generally proud of whites’ accomplishments. I will treat all people with respect until their actions prove them to be jerks, crooks, liars, incompetents, charlatans, frauds, quacks, or Progressives.

Moreover, I am not ashamed of being white and have no reason to apologize. That won’t happen if there is a Great Freeze in a place the Bible speaks about or if all the shrimp in Louisiana learn to whistle Dixie in harmony.

No guilt, no hatred, no fear, no apology.

Fools Often Make Heroes Out of Religious Fanatics!  https://donboys.cstnews.com/fools-often-make-heroes-out-of-religious-fanatics https://donboys.cstnews.com/fools-often-make-heroes-out-of-religious-fanatics#respond Mon, 08 Feb 2021 22:04:08 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2769 John Brown struck the match, lighting the fuse on the powder keg of secession and Civil War. Brown defended his violence claiming to be faithful to the Golden Rule. Like most fanatics, he was wrong, and he twisted the Bible like a pretzel to excuse anti-biblical violence. Brown’s life is proof that one’s most sincere passion or zeal does not justify his tactics. Nor does his noble desire justify his violent actions.

However, it is claimed our War for Independence was an act of violence, but that compares apples with apes. Our break with England was a collective decision after many months of negotiation by elected authorities. Brown practiced arbitrary violence against innocent people; our break with England was done after pleading and providing reasons for the break.

Collective efforts with England by delegates from the thirteen American colonies were rebuffed. After England levied excessive taxes without any agreement or representation by the colonies, the colonists were ready to declare independence reluctantly. This led to the violence in 1770, when British soldiers opened fire on a group of Boston colonists, killing five men. The fight for independence was on, and freedom was ahead.

Conversely, Brown’s violence was planned, and innocent people died with repercussions to our day. He promoted himself to initiate the Civil War that did not have to happen. Slavery was dying anyway. It had been illegal to import slaves since January 1, 1808. While slavery was still a blight, the dying institution was not worth the bloody spasms and convulsions of a war that killed over 600,000 men, injured almost 500,000, and made havoc on the South.

Brown was a sincere fool, fanatic, and follower (not of Christ) with wild, apocalyptic visions from another sphere. Shockingly, many impressive, highly placed, and highly respected American leaders such as preachers, poets, pundits, philosophers, and a physician supported and defended him.

He married twice and fathered twenty children, many of whom died with him in his forays against slavery, albeit usually against innocent people. After a life of abolitionist activities, many of them violent, Brown led twenty-one on a raid on Harper’s Ferry in Charles Town, VA (now WV) to procure warehoused guns and ammunition to arm fugitive slaves. His wacky plan was to kick off a rebellion among slaves and start the War that he hoped would free the slaves.

His plan failed, and ironically, the first man killed at Harper’s Ferry was an innocent free black man who worked for the B&O Railroad. After a quick but fair trial, Brown was found guilty and sentenced to death by hanging.

As Brown left the county jail at 11:00 a.m. on December 2, 1859, he rode to the gallows sitting on his coffin in a furniture wagon. He passed through a large but limited crowd of civilians, the local militia, and a hundred  U.S. Marines commanded by Army Colonel Robert E. Lee, Lt. J.E.B Stuart, and Marine Lt. Israel Greene. Thomas (later Stonewall) Jackson was on temporary duty from his professorship at Virginia Military Institute, providing security at the execution.  Lincoln’s future assassin John Wilkes Booth, wanting to be an observer, illegally borrowed a militia uniform for the execution.

Within a year of Brown’s execution, the first state seceded from the Union, and one of the most tragic wars in history began.

Black-owned businesses in the North closed on the day of Brown’s execution, and church bells rang across the North. Huge memorial services took place, guns were fired, and Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau (both famous white leaders), and others joined many Northerners in toadying to Brown’s memory and mission, hoping to justify his madness.

Emerson remarked on Brown’s death sentence, that Brown “will make the gallows glorious like the Cross.” Emerson, like the others, had drunk the Kool-Aid before joining the John Brown Parade.

Radical, transcendental preachers and philosophers in New England made a hero out of a zero.

Brown was the North’s hero and was the most famous American from 1859 until Lincoln’s assassination in 1865! That speaks volumes about the mental acumen of the period. Thoreau spoke to a crowd in Concord, Massachusetts, saying, “No man in America has ever stood up so persistently and effectively for the dignity of human nature.”

Tell that to the relatives of those he and his sons shot and hacked to death in Kansas.

Even with his violent activities, Brown was funded by some of the most polished, proper, powerful, and prosperous men in New England! On May 9, 1859, Brown delivered a lecture in Concord, Massachusetts, that Amos Bronson Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, and David Thoreau attended. Brown could not get a more respectable audience than that.

Thoreau equated Brown’s execution to Christ’s crucifixion at the hands of Pontius Pilate, with whom he compared the American government. He declared those who believe Brown threw away his life and died as a fool are themselves fools.

As Brown began recruiting supporters for an attack on slaveholders, he was joined by Harriet Tubman, “General Tubman,” as he called her. She was also called “The Moses of her people.” Tubman, a darling of today’s left, was involved with, and helped Brown.

Shockingly, so many northerners considered Brown (often identified with Christ and Moses) a hero, and Union soldiers marched to a new song John Brown’s Body. The song made a hero out of a heretic and a martyr out of a madman whose “soul is marching on.” The melody was later used by abolitionist Unitarian Julia Ward Howe, who wrote the lyrics to the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Innocent people sing that song in our day with gusto, not realizing it was a bloodthirsty marching song asking God to help northern soldiers crush the South.

No doubt, General Sherman whistled and sang that song on his bloody march from Atlanta to Savannah.

Julia was married to Samuel Gridley Howe, a famous physician and abolitionist. Samuel was a member of the Secret Six, a group of influential New England leftists who funded John Brown’s work. The Secret Six also included Thomas Wentworth Higginson, Theodore Parker, Franklin Benjamin Sanborn, Gerrit Smith, and George Luther Stearns. Two of the six were Unitarian preachers. While these famous, well-connected men did not meet as a group, Brown met with them a few times to inform them of his “progress.” And to pick up a check. They gave him money without asking any questions. They, along with William Lloyd Garrison and Amos Adams Lawrence (both influential white leaders), funded Brown’s actions and must bear responsibility for his attack on Harper’s Ferry.

After the fiasco at Harper’s Ferry, the newspapers began to release information about the Secret Six. The handwriting was on the wall: the culpable financiers of terror (that some would call “good” terror) shredded their papers of all incriminating evidence of their treachery and fled the country. Smith stayed home but confined himself to a mental institution saying something like, “John who?” and “Harper’s what?”

A Senate committee looked at the Secret Six activities, but they were careful not to look too closely. They were fearful about finding incriminating evidence of the famous supporters of Brown’s terror, thinking it should remain uncovered. When the committee questioned Samuel Howe and George Stearns, the two men later admitted they were asked questions in such a manner that “permitted them to give honest answers without implicating themselves.” Civil War historian James M. McPherson stated that “A historian reading their testimony, however, will be convinced that they told several falsehoods.”

The Senate closed the hearings and wrote their report while the men responsible for funding Brown went back to their reputable lives in New England. Well, all’s well that ends well. However, the Civil War did not end well. Over 600,000 men died, with 500,000 injured and maimed for life.

Former slave Frederick Douglass secretly met with Brown at a stone quarry in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, where he wisely refused to be part of the Harper’s Ferry raid. He admitted, “I met him often during this struggle, and all I saw of him gave me a more favorable impression of the man, and inspired me with a higher respect for his character.” However, his hero would soon be executed for treason, inciting a slave insurrection and murder. It was not good public relations to be identified with Brown at that time, so Douglass sailed for England a few weeks before the trapdoor on the gallows snapped open.

Twenty years after the Civil War, Douglass said, “John Brown began the war that ended American slavery and made this a free Republic.” Douglass called him “a brave and glorious old man….History has no better illustration of pure, disinterested benevolence.” Of course, Douglass was desperate to justify his support for the unsupportable.

According to her biographer Kate C. Larson, “Harriet Tubman thought Brown was the greatest white man who ever lived.” Tubman helped Brown recruit for the ill-fated raid, but illness kept her from participating. She opined that Brown did more for American blacks than Lincoln did. While she was female, a black, and a do-gooder, having helped hundreds of slaves escape on the Underground Railroad, her likeness should not be on the twenty-dollar bill instead of Jackson’s because of her involvement with Brown’s rebellion.

Had Tubman not been ill, she would have swung from the gallows along with John.

According to W. E. B. Du Bois, in his 1909 biography, “John Brown was right.” However, Du Bois was wrong. Brown was not right, but Du Bois was a brilliant black activist and the first black to earn a Ph.D. from Harvard. Blacks have tended to overlook many serious problems of white men who carry water for the black cause.

John Brown and people like him are still defended and praised for their devotion, deception, and destructive actions. Why will people not make principled decisions regardless of race, money, influence, relationship, political party, or religion? Douglass, Tubman, Du Bois, and other black leaders refused to criticize Brown because he supported abolition.

Men tend to appreciate, accept, and applaud others who support their own positions—right or wrong positions. Democrats support people who are clearly self-centered, self-aggrandizing, and self-promoting, and Republicans do the same. Honest politicians should publicly disavow radicals in their midst.

Radical Blacks promote principle openly but mock it privately. It doesn’t take much intellectual candlepower to see that everyone should stop making heroes out of heretics.

Fanatics Are Fanatics Whatever Their Motives Even for a Noble Cause! https://donboys.cstnews.com/fanatics-are-fanatics-whatever-their-motives-even-for-a-noble-cause https://donboys.cstnews.com/fanatics-are-fanatics-whatever-their-motives-even-for-a-noble-cause#respond Thu, 04 Feb 2021 19:02:25 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2765 A 37-year-old unstable man stood at a church prayer meeting in Ohio and made a vow to destroy slavery. His sincere but lethal vow destroyed thousands of lives and helped accelerate the American Civil War. The man vowed, “Here, before God, in the presence of these witnesses, from this time, I consecrate my life to the destruction of slavery!”

His ambitions were commendable, while his actions were calamitous. He was a fanatic who had one thing on his mind, and no one could change it. He was John Brown, whose photo in the dictionary should be listed under “fanatic.” He was to die hanging from a rope (bought by the Federal Government) in Charles Town, VA (now, WV) on a cold December day in 1859.

John Brown was from a good family going back to the Pilgrims, proving once again that stupidity, fanaticism, and mental problems can afflict any strata of society. Brown’s father had as an apprentice Jesse R. Grant who was the father of Ulysses S. Grant.

In 1825, the John Brown family moved to Pennsylvania, where they purchased 200 acres and built a home, then started a tannery that soon employed 15 men. From 1825 to 1835, the Browns helped 2500 fugitive slaves find freedom since their home was a major stop on the Underground Railroad. He helped establish a school and became postmaster of Randolph, Pennsylvania.

Obviously, even fanatics can accomplish some good, but it never relieves them of their nefarious activities. After all, Mussolini made Italy’s trains run on time, and Hitler is responsible for the Volkswagen automobile. Oops, it is dangerous to say anything positive (even if truthful) about tyrants. It is acceptable to praise lefties such as Stalin, Castro, Chavez, Obama, Sanders, Biden, and what’s-her-name, etc., even when they lie.

In 1836, Brown moved his family to what is now Kent, Ohio, and in 1837, he made his famous and destructive vow mentioned earlier. The vow was in response to the murder of a famous Presbyterian preacher, newspaper editor, and abolitionist Elijah P. Lovejoy, who was shot and killed by a proslavery mob. His murder shocked the whole country.

In 1846, Brown moved his family to Springfield, Massachusetts, where he joined the Sanford Street Free Church. There he heard famous antislavery speakers such as black leaders Frederick Douglass and Sojourner Truth, both former slaves. Brown greatly influenced Douglass toward more aggressively pursuing their cause. After spending a few hours with Brown, Douglass wrote in 1847, “My utterances became more and more tinged by the color of this man’s strong impressions.”

Douglass should have been more careful about his friends and associates.

Brown moved again in 1849 to North Elba, New York, a black community in the Adirondack Mountains, with plans to help blacks learn to farm. That was commendable, but fanatics take advantage of situations to further their good or bad causes.

All fanatics are dangerous, as seen recently in Washington, D.C. A half a million Trump supporters met in Washington on January 6 and resulted in an out of control mob invading the Capitol Building. Few in the media mention that only a few hundred were out of control, while hundreds of thousands made their opinions known by peaceful protests.

The mainstream media seem to think it is unthinkable that fanatics like BLM and Antifa would be involved in such a gathering as provocateurs. We know there were rabid fanatics (extremists) on both the left and right who broke laws, and all should go to the pokey for a year or so. Moreover, the violent ones who injured others should go to prison for a few years. That would cool some of their political enthusiasm.

Brown is usually called an intensely religious man, but he was a nut case, and his noble motives are no excuse for his excessive and violent behavior. He thought violence was the only way to stop slavery, and, incredibly, he was proclaimed a hero. He is considered one today by the non-thinkers. Neither Brown’s religious dedication nor his hatred of slavery justifies his zealotry. Neither do the political contradictions, confusion, and chaos give Brown any credibility.

Brown focused his concern on Kansas’s future statehood, then a territory, and made plans to move his family west. He took his fanaticism with him. Brown and the anti-slave settlers were hoping to bring Kansas into the Union as a slavery-free state.

U.S. President James Buchanan (a slave-leaning northern Democrat) determined to admit Kansas as a state as soon as possible, and he didn’t care whether it was a slave or free state. He wanted another state. Abolitionists had moved from New England to Kansas to help the cause of ending slavery. In contrast, proslavery citizens from Missouri and Georgia moved to Kansas to help make Kansas a slave state.

Proslavery people in neighboring Missouri continued to stir the pot in Kansas, helping keep alive the Free State and Slave State issue. Abolitionists in Kansas  were known as jayhawkers who took advantage of the chaos to bully the proslavers along the Kansas-Missouri border. Abolitionists were genuinely concerned with the possibility of another slave state.

A train wreck was in the making that Brown only caused to accelerate as he and his family moved to Lawrence, Kansas. Antislavery settlers from Massachusetts founded Lawrence to make Kansas (soon to be called Bleeding Kansas) a Free State, mitigating the influence of proslavery citizens. When Brown moved there, he made the political situation worse, much worse.

Lawrence was invaded by about 800 proslavery men led by the Douglas County Sheriff Samuel Jones on May 21, 1856. Jones had been shot in the back earlier and chased out of town, so he had the color of law on his side if not actual authority for the Lawrence raid. Two flags were flying at the head of the posse: an American flag and a flag with a crouching tiger. Other banners proclaimed “Southern rights” and “The Superiority of the White Race.”

The town leaders decided not to resist the posse but also refused to comply with their demands. Sheriff Jones told a town spokesman that all citizens had to surrender their weapons, but the spokesman replied that he could not command a town citizen to do anything. The town official did give him the town cannon, but the sheriff was not satisfied. Tyrants must always disarm free citizens.

After failing to destroy the Free State Hotel with cannon fire, the sheriff torched the building. He and his men then destroyed the Kansas Free State and the Herald of Freedom printing presses and threw the type and other equipment into the Kansas River. The sheriff’s posse then burned a large home, looted the town, and was dismissed by the sheriff, who went home for a cold refreshment.

The next morning, Brown and his sons, disappointed that Lawrence’s citizens had not resisted, went to the homes of proslavery settlers near Pottawatomie Creek in Kansas on May 24, 1856. The Brown family announced they were the “Northern Army” come to provide justice. They broke into proslaver James Doyle’s cabin and marched him and two of his sons down a road where Owen and Salmon Brown hacked their victims to death with broadswords. John shot Doyle in his forehead. Later that evening, the Browns visited two more cabins and brutally murdered two other proslavery settlers. None of those executed owned any slaves or had anything to do with the raid on Lawrence.

Brown lit the match that exploded the powder keg of three months of violence following the massacre, and 29 people died.

Shockingly, Brown is considered a hero, even a dedicated Christian, by many. No, not the kind revealed in the Bible where a Christian is one who has trusted Christ and experienced a changed life. Brown and his crowd did not act like Christians, and the Capitol mob did not act like Christians or Conservatives.

Of course, some of the riot leaders in Washington were far-left provocateurs.

The sacking of abolitionist Lawrence could not be justified. The fact that the proslavery county sheriff led the raid did not make it legal. The invasion of the town only antagonized the northern states and made the division more rigid. Pro Free State Republicans introduced a bill to bring Kansas into the Union as a free state while Democrats introduced a bill to bring in the new state as a proslavery state. The lines were drawn, and everyone chose sides, sometimes brother against brother.

Attempting to settle the issue, the territorial legislature (very proslavery) called for a Constitutional Convention in Lecompton in September of 1857. Free-state (antislavery) men were fearful that proslavery influencers would rig the election. They did. So, proslavery forces “won” that election as border ruffians poured over the Missouri border to stuff the ballot boxes.

When the Territory citizens voted on the issue, many fraudulent votes were cast from nonresidents from Missouri, resulting in massive violence that reinforced the area’s name of Bleeding Kansas. Some people estimated that up to 60 percent of the votes cast in Kansas were fraudulent.

With all the chaos, Kansas, as a free state, later became the 34th state to join the Union, not because of John Brown but despite him. Both sides committed atrocities, and this struggle between pro-and anti-slave forces in Kansas was a significant factor in the eruption of the Civil War.

Brown moved back east and met with two black leaders Frederick Douglas and Harriet Tubman, who greatly influenced him. With Tubman’s help, whom he called “General Tubman,” Brown led an attack on pro slavers, as well as a United States military armory, at Harpers Ferry, Virginia, in October of 1859.

(And now Biden wants to replace Jackson’s face on the twenty-dollar bill with Tubman’s.)

Brown’s motive for the raid was to get supplies, guns, and ammunition to arm slaves he expected to rebel and attract other slaves spreading rebellion throughout the South. Alas, the slaves did not rebel as expected. During the raid, a Baltimore and Ohio train left the station headed for Washington, where passengers reported the attack.

As the train pulled away from the station, a baggage handler was shot in the back and killed when he refused to obey Brown’s men. The victim was a free Black man!

Brown attacked the armory with 21 men, including his sons, but it was all over within two days. His men were killed or captured by the locals and U.S. Marines led by Robert E. Lee. Brown was tried for the murder of five men, instigating a slave rebellion, and treason against the Commonwealth of Virginia and was found guilty on all counts.

On December 2, 1859, Brown was hanged in Charles Town and buried with the noose still around his neck. One of the witnesses to his hanging was an obscure actor named John Wilkes Booth, another fanatic.

Fanatics come from all groups of people and must not be excused, esteemed, or emulated by people of principle.

Is Everyone Wrong About Racism Except Me? https://donboys.cstnews.com/is-everyone-wrong-about-racism-except-me https://donboys.cstnews.com/is-everyone-wrong-about-racism-except-me#respond Mon, 01 Feb 2021 20:43:37 +0000 http://donboys.cstnews.com/?p=2762 I’m so fearful of being called a racist that I feel compelled to watch the Al Sharpton Show and work diligently to decipher what he is trying to say, and I refuse to watch the hilarious old Amos and Andy Show. Moreover, I stop everything to listen to anything Oprah says and eagerly read every book written by the Obamas, no matter how inane they are. Furthermore, I willingly fall for Nigerian scams providing my credit card information willy-nilly. After all, they always call me “dearest.”

As I move my tongue from my cheek at the very beginning of this super sensitive topic, I am aware that I can’t win no matter how sensible my arguments may be. You see, I am white, and according to nutty leftists (but then, I repeat myself), my whiteness determines my racism. I’ve always been white, and I expect to stay white. Moreover, I’m completely satisfied to be white; I never had a desire to be anything else. Using elementary logic, it would do no good to want to be anything but white. Plus, I see no advantage to being of another race, group, kind, crowd, etc.

So, I am white and proud of it. Now, that’s dangerous, and the wackos on the left, following my declaration, expect me to automatically fall to my knees in deep contrition, weeping copious tears while I flagellate myself and throw ashes over my head. That is because admitting to being satisfied and even legitimately proud of being white makes me a dangerous white supremacist.

Hogwash, balderdash, and a generous dose of poppycock!

Being satisfied, even proud of being white, is synonymous with racism—to the racists. That’s what the experts in racism say. The reason the experts are experts is that they are usually black racists or self-hating Whites. Hating Whitey makes them feel so noble, superior, and righteous while they are actually nutty, senseless, and ridiculous.

However, since I am delighted to be white (after all, it doesn’t help to want something else) does not mean I hate those who are not white. It does not mean I am superior because of my whiteness since there are many nonwhites brighter, wiser, better than I. Whoever I am, and whatever I have is all because of the sovereign grace of God. I have nothing about which to brag.

Is it possible to disagree, dislike, and disapprove of the critical race theory and not be racist? If one is critical of school bussing for racial balance, is that racism? If one is critical of affirmative action where one race is preferred over others, is that racism? Is it racism to remind folk that more than 77% of black babies born in America are illegitimate? Is it racism to mention that in almost every famous incident of a cop shooting a Black man, the Black was resisting arrest or was armed?

If my above beliefs are obvious racism, then my critic does not feel required to provide proof of my “racism.” What it proves is that my accuser is an obvious jerk; race and skin color are irrelevant.

The stats indicate if I were black, I might be more athletic, although I’ve been told, “white men can’t jump.” But who knows that maybe blacks excel at sports because they work harder at it. If I were Asian, I would be more adept in math and science, but perhaps Asians excel at math and science because of a superior educational system in their respective nations.

Minorities rant long and loud about their unequal status, but they have no desire for equality. Maybe some minorities see racism everywhere in everything because they look through racist eyes. They would be shocked to discover they are simply racists looking for a way to eat without working since racism is bankable.

Could that be? Dare I suggest that such is black privilege?

It is possible for a person to not like some minorities without being a hater and racist. It is possible that some slaveholders while owning slaves, were not racists. Usually, slavery was a matter of economics. And some slaves lived better, much better than free people did. Early American farmers found themselves in a new land with very few workers and tobacco or cotton to plant and harvest. They bought slaves, and some owners were sadists (and idiots) who enjoyed mistreating their slaves while other owners treated their slaves well, even educating them and teaching them the Bible.

Two liberal (very liberal) professors tell us in their book Time On The Cross: The Economics Of American Negro Slavery that some planters instituted a profit-sharing for their slaves. They also tell us, “The average pecuniary income actually received by a prime field hand [slave] was roughly fifteen percent greater than the income he would have received for his labor as a free agricultural worker.” Wonder why public school books and race-baiters on television never mention that?

The prospect of kind slaveholders is impossible for radicals to consider because, while true, that concept does not fit the racist agenda, and their agenda provides them money and status.

Most slaves for millennia were taken in war and were white. It was not about race. But to the racists, everything is about race. That is proof of their racism.

The Jews were slaves in Egypt, making bricks without straw, constructing buildings, repairing roads—backbreaking labor. They were hated and mistreated. The Egyptians were haters, and I wonder why Jews are not demanding reparations for hundreds of years of Jewish slavery.

It was a different story in Babylon where the Jews were slaves but free to live their lives and make a living however they chose. Since they were slaves, they had to pay tribute to the king, but Jewish slaves in Babylon could build homes, plant gardens, marry and leave an inheritance to their children.

Jeremiah said, “there will be peace to you.” The Jews in Babylon lived far better than slaves elsewhere. Is it possible the Babylonians were not racists and did not hate the Jews? It was a matter of circumstances since the Jews were taken in warfare.

God rejected Ishmael, the first-born of Abraham, because of his race; he was not born of Sarah. Was that racism? Or was it legitimate discrimination based on the fact he did not meet the criteria of God? Even though God prospered Ishmael and Abraham loved him, Ishmael was not treated equally; therefore, by today’s enlightened and progressive standards, God and Abraham were racists.

Since God loves everyone, we are commanded to do the same, even to love our enemies who despitefully use us and mistreat us. God loves the stupid white and black racists. And I’m trying.

While the Bible does not deal with racism, it does teach us to treat everyone fairly, honestly, and kindly. I am commanded to treat people the way I want to be treated, but that does not nullify my personal choices of association in social and business life.

Moreover, God displays and recommends discrimination, which is not recognized as sin. He commanded the Jews not to marry Gentiles; therefore, He discriminated against Gentiles.

It was not racism to take combatants in battle as slaves; it was kinder than killing them. Slavery was the consequence of war. This was the economics of warfare. It must be understood that one lives in a culture, not of his making. Slavery was the accepted and normal part of life throughout the world. Highly educated men did not question the slavery concept. It was accepted as normal.

Historically, slaves were prisoners of war. Wars have always been common; thus, many were killed, and many were enslaved. It is easy for us, from our enlightened culture, to judge past generations, but how would you have treated POWs? They couldn’t be sent back home since they would have to be fought again and again. They could be imprisoned, requiring them to be fed, clothed, housed, and guarded. Not too smart. So, make them work since they chose to be combatants and were conquered. The conquerors were not racists. They were rather lenient in permitting their enemy to live.

The New Birth results in having the “mind of Christ” where “there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.” However, at the present, few possess that mind, and there we find racism.

Until that time when Christ is preeminent, we are plagued with slave and free; male and female; rich and poor; resulting in great divisions in our societies such as American slavery.

Finally, the black slaves got rid of the white man in the big white plantation house, but now all of us are citizen/slaves of the government plantation run by an old white man in the big white house in Washington.

Now, that may not be racism, but it is still slavery.
